My computer took a dump towards the end of the story, but long story short, don't ever do business with those unprofessional morons. After my disasterous and completely unprofessional, not-to-mention, very expensive encounter with those idiots, I saught out a better alternative. Audio Addiction had a 5 star Yelp review. I called and talked to Garrett. He asked me to come in so he could look at what I wanted and needed. I needed him to fix everything that the un-named Stereo Store of 7th Avenue in Eugene screwed up, plus install some new equipment. He quoted me a hundred bucks less than the un-named Stereo Store on 7th quoted me, with all those extras. I agreed. Garrett and his tech, I wish I knew his name, did an outstanding job and did everything I asked with no bs excuses like the un-named manager at that Stereo Store on 7th Avenue provided, after the 3rd time I questioned him about it. What a joke they were. Audio Addiction installed everything beautifully and guaranteed their work for the life of my equipment. It's tuned perfectly, and I couldn't be happier. When getting stuff done to my car, I'm more concerned with making it all look as stock as possible, while making the beastie boys sound like they were meant to when I'm lugging my sorry ass up and down I-5 3 times a week. Living in Portland, we've got dozens of stereo installation options. After asking around, I made the trip south on a word-of-mouth recommendation. Sure, Soundsational does a lot of highly custom stuff, but they won't go all crazy if you'd rather they not. Looking for a clean sounding system and a stock look? no problem. Want some proof? Ask for a tour of their shop. They've got some highly custom stereos going into some completely remodeled vehicle interiors, and they've also got quite a few very modest installs like mine. A peek into the back of the shop will show you their custom box-making area, complete with some really nice fiberglass work. As for quality of work; it's where they get my first 5 star review. After a recent installation, I had to fix some wiring in my dash. Upon a brief inspection, I found all of their work to be wrapped and neatly run to the different components. From the work they've done, it's clear they care about the job they're doing. After the sale? I really don't think for them there is one. I made a quick call with a question on some wiring they ran for me, and they were more than willing to talk me through what they'd done, as well as an explanation of how and why. For the sake of improvement, I believe it's important to be critical of *something* with every review I write, but I can't for the life of me come up with anything I'd change with these guys. As long as they keep up the good work, I'll keep taking my cars to them.

My father used this mechanic and, at first, it went well. But this guy Mike and his partner…read more"Nettie" (not sure if that's the correct nam) are unresponsive after weeks of poor communication. my father hired them to a carrier bearing and look at his u joints on his pickup, which is his main means of earning an income, and they took his drive lines and never returned them. He has asked for them back with text and calls MANY times over the course of the last couple weeks, and they do not even answer calls or reply to texts with anything other than false promises that he will return the call later. At this point my father has been forced to spend thousands of dollars on new drive lines, and lost over a month of income from doing business as a contractor. I want to warn anyone considering us this company, please find someone ethical. If Mike calls my father and makes restitution (return the drive lines, and pay for some of his loss of time) I will update this review. This should be criminal, but unfortunately it seems it is a civil matter. We are very reasonable people and my father was personally and financially hurt by this company. The stress from this situation has caused us all to lose sleep at night.
