He then said that before proceeding he would have to inspect the vehicle because it was over 20 years old and asked for my address, so I gave it to him. Four days later he tells me he can't do it because it wasn't a running vehicle. Funny enough I was driving the vehicle back from the store when I got the text. It has been 5 days of run around and poor communication and now I am back to square one to find someone to replace my cracked window. Chips mobile Glass Repair was a giant waste of my time. REPLY to his response: I contacted you about a 2001 Lexus. I gave you my phone number! My most charitable guess is that you came to my house when I wasn't home, without contacting me first, and saw a 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser project sitting by my shop and somehow could not tell the difference between the two cars and still wouldn't call or ask any questions. If you answered your phone or called anyone back this could have been sorted out in 2 minutes! This has been a ridiculously frustrating experience and very unprofessional behavior. I called him to sort it out and he cussed and yelled at me and wouldn't listen to a thing I said. This was shockingly horrible behavior.

We immediately shut it off and saw a huge puddle of oil under the van. He had left the old oil filter gasket under the new one, which resulted in an oil blow out. Jack came to us and replaced the filter and oil which we graciously thanked him for. Since then our engine has had a horrible knocking noise which was determined to be rod knock by another mechanic. We discovered Jack had also overfilled our oil this time by 2 quarts. We towed it in to Jacks only for him to attempt to say it's fine, just leave. We refused, and he finally agreed to look it over. A day later he said he could fix it by "thickening the oil" (that just hides the noise) I told him it needs an honest repair, not a bandaid. He refused, so we're towing the van out and initiating a lawsuit. Jack can talk a nice talk, but when push comes to shove, he will stab you in the back. Watch out for this shop

She was able to understand our needs and walk us through sharing our location. (We had a coolant leak in our pickup about 10 miles west of Sisters.) She found a driver that could be there in 3-4 hours. In about two hours, she called to say the driver was on his way and would be there in about an hour. Russell arrived as expected, was very friendly, conscientious, and thorough. Kept us informed about the steps he was taking and delivered us and our pickup and fifth wheel to the dealership. He even dropped us off to pick up our rental vehicle. They made an unfortunate situation as positive as they could! Thank you both!

It was probably the shortest tow job he ever did (5 feet) but I would have been late to the campsite if I hadn't come across Casey and Cascade Heavy Rescue. Thank you for saving the day. He pulled the van forward, I climbed in and activated the battery boost button (jumps the chassis battery with the rv house battery), started the van and re-parked it a couple feet from the fence. After my previous experience elsewhere, I was relieved to finally find a shop that listened to what…read moreI was actually saying. After exchanging emails with Sound Fast, I scheduled a drop-off time for my truck. When I arrived, I was greeted professionally, and all of my concerns had already been documented. We went out to my truck together to listen to the stereo issues I had been experiencing. The sound was adjusted immediately and sounded much better, although the cutting-out issue still needed to be addressed. While they had my truck, they corrected several things that had been missed by the previous installer. They properly installed the USB port instead of leaving it hanging out of my glove box, removed an old microphone from a previous stereo installation, and installed the backup camera that I had asked to have installed but was never completed by the previous shop. Most importantly, they took the time to properly diagnose the root cause of the problem. It turned out the speakers were faulty. While I still need to replace the speakers, they successfully fixed the issues that had been driving me crazy for months--the stereo cutting out and the battery drain problem. I really appreciated the customer service. The team listened to my concerns, communicated clearly, and treated me with respect. I never felt like a nuisance or that my concerns were being dismissed. Unfortunately, I ended up spending about $700 to get to the root of a problem that likely could have been identified much earlier, but that wasn't Sound Fast's fault. They were the first shop that actually listened and took the time to diagnose the issue instead of simply replacing parts. If you're looking for a shop that values customer service, communication, and proper troubleshooting, I'd definitely recommend Sound Fast. They fixed problems that another shop missed and gave me confidence that my vehicle was finally being looked at the right way.

But when they say yeah we have it but drive down so we can look and make sure just know it's a waste of time. AGU fuses are bog standard amp and battery fuses, so here are a few others as well that have standard names not associated with brands and hay come in all sorts of kits but what a bunch of donuts.
