I came to them with a problem - my 19-speaker HK system from the factory left much to be desired (tons of rattles, muddied sound at higher volume, lacking much depth in the sound). And when the install went a 1/2 day longer than anticipated, or when I brought it back in for them to look at something, they didn't charge me anything extra. I am new to this market so he could have taken an opportunity to educate, even humor me. But his facial expression and innuendo said it all. I needed help trouble shooting my backup camera and another connection with my stereo. They fixed the backup camera but the other setting wasn't done. when I went back in, the person behind the counter told me I just needed to update my phone. I'm writing this review on behalf of my husband so I don't know all the exact details. He got an alarm system installed into his 2006 Tacoma and is very happy with it. He loves the app that came with it and can tell if his doors are unlocked without having to be near his truck. He also loves that he can turn his truck on a few minutes before he has to leave (parked outside) so that it's already warmed up. Such a great thing to have during the winter! The staff here has really gone down hill. I was here for my car tint a couple years ago and a stereo install years before that and it was great. I went in two weeks ago to get custom wheels ordered and put on, plus a USB port installed. After finding one's I liked I was told they were in stock and ordered them in black gloss. I asked if they needed to look at my car at all for any specs and they said no. Next day I get a call saying they actually aren't available in black gloss, only in matte. I said OK fine and ordered them in matte. I paid for everything up front and was told they would be delivered within a week. I was told I needed to come back in so they could look at my car.. I came down and no one looked at my car. A week goes by and I called in to check on the status. I was told they had not been ordered yet because the person who does the orders has been sick (even though he was the guy who answered the phone, I think they just forgot). I was told they would be ordered that day and was a little bummed no one called to let me know there would be a delay. I was going to be out of town the next few weekends and was trying to plan the install around my departure. Next day I get a call saying that the wheels are not in stock at all and never have been. SO frustrating! I asked for a refund on the wheels and asked if they were able to even install the USB and they said they didn't have time but to try back another time. They ALSO gave me some other guys receipt. I went to Les Schwab right after and even though I did spend an extra $400, they were ordered same day and delivered and installed the very next day. They were very helpful in calling on multiple wheels I was interested in to make sure they were in stock. For the USB I went to audiowerks! It seems like the staff at sounds fast is just very young and inexperienced now. The most annoying part to me was that no one seemed to care or be apologetic. People who know me know how obsessed I am with my Infiniti g35. So I was extremely upset when another company messed up the re-tint (enough to cause replacement of my rear window). Thankfully, a friend suggested Sounds Fast. They gave me an honest estimate for different levels of tinting and explained the difference. They were patient while I got the rear window replaced and did an AMAZING job when they could finally fix the botched job. I can tell a difference with the ceramic tint they suggested and love the level of tint they did. My ONLY regret is that I didn't come here first!! I loved their integrity and professionalism with quality so much that I decided to have the radio/tape player replaced.. This was no easy task as the car is 15 years old. They were clear about every step and helped me get a rebate. I am a little overwhelmed with all the features, but I absolutely love driving this car again! I called every car stereo place in town for an iPod integration solution for my Audi. It is a rare model and everyone said they couldn't do it. Sounds Fast said they would research it and call me back. They promptly did and said they had a solution. I was skeptical, but placed the order for the kit and brought the car in. When I came in, they asked how I wanted to mount the iPod, and I wasn't sure. Jamie said his creative installer would find a cool solution and let me know. They called about an hour later with a great idea for a super custom iPod dock in my unused ashtray! They had it all complete exactly when they said they would and everything works perfect. I had a great experience with the folks at Sounds Fast this week. I brought in a used car that I had purchased for my teenagers to drive in order to get the radio working. The previous owner had messed up the stock system pretty badly and it was quite a challenge for them to fix it and get it working without breaking the bank. But they did it and kept the cost reasonable. While they had it, the ignition cylinder became frozen, by no fault of theirs, and they were stuck with a car that couldn't start or move. They took it upon themselves to investigate the problem, diagnose it and fix it at half the cost the dealership would have charged me. Not to mention the time and headache of having it towed to the dealership. They really went above and beyond and I'm very grateful for their help and effort! read more

I recently learned that SoundsFast installs heated seats---that is, they modify your car's existing seats to be heated. I had them do the heated seat install in my wife's 2004 Ford Escape as a Christmas present. SoundsFast reps were courteous and professional to deal with and the job was done was done perfectly in one day, at a reasonable price. The seats work wonderfully--- No change in physical appearance or feel of the seats, just warm, luxurious heat on your back and bottom for driving around in Central Oregon winter when you turn them on.
