The store is typical, stocked with the usual Game Stop items and pretty organized, nothing special here. What stands out to me is one member of the team in particular who always went above and beyond to ensure that the customer was taken care of and would be coming back to the store. I think her name is Naomi, totally failed to write it down after my last stop in before I moved away from the area but she is fresh out of HS and very mature business-wise, really loves her job and it shows. Game Stop would be wise to cultivate this one and move her into management!

I went shopping here today for a Nintendo Wii after they confirmed that they had some Wii consoles in stock - which is still often sold out and hard to find. So props go to them for that. They have a fairly large selection of new & used games for all the popular consoles, as well as older consoles. I even saw some older used consoles for sale there. If I had a complaint about this location, it would be that it's a little small. They have always had customers in there when I've been there, and today it seemed especially crowded. They could definitely use a bigger space!

It is never a good idea to rent from a furniture rental place, EVER!! My husband and I wanted to…read moreget a new couch, but we didn't really know what we wanted. So we thought we would find a couch here and rent it to see if it was what we liked. If we liked it we of course would keep it and continue the monthly payments or go to a furniture store and buy the same one since now we knew what we liked. At the same time we also decided to get two end tables and a coffee table. The day of delivery: We were told we were first on the list for delivery, however they didn't show up until after 2pm!! So we wasted our entire Saturday WAITING. The Furniture: We realized that the end tables and the coffee table was not going to fit into our living room, so I called on the following business day (Monday) to find out how to return them. I was told that they would have to put us on the schedule for pick up and they only come out during the week, well I work during the week. The lady told me that they do not do Saturdays, yet they delivered it the Saturday before. After having to speak over her asking the same question, "can I just bring it in myself" and after hearing about how if I break it I buy it, she finally said yes I could. WTH!! When we first went in to sign the contract we paid a full month up front yet we returned the accessories within the same week of receiving them, so you would think we would get a credit for the next month. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!! Yea right! I was told this morning when I paid for our November payment on the couch that we were told at signing that even if we brought back all of it we would not get any of the money back. So basically we paid for an entire month for the accessories yet we only had them one week. That is FUCKED UP! And they probably re-rented the accessories and now they have double rent payments received. The lady I spoke with said she explained this to us at the contract signing however, this was NEVER explained to us AT ALL! And every time we speak to them they treat us like trash. We are professionals with highly paid jobs, we own our home, our cars etc. We are not to be treated like TRASH just because we wanted to rent a fucking couch. But it wasn't without being harassed several times due to "late payment" when in fact the due date wasn't until the 15th. We had the due date changed from the 1st to the 15th prior to these calls. They'd call on the 3rd of the month nearly every month. Don't ignore them either or they'll call your references! Many times I told them to come and pick the set up and take it back because it wasn't worth being harassed. They didn't, they just wanted money. I never missed a month's payment, ever. I was so glad when I finally paid them off, it was pure relief. I've never been in jail before, but I imagine it was the equivalent of being released from jail. *deep breath* I could've bought the same set BRAND NEW, and OUTRIGHT for about $1000.00. Hind-sight is 20/20 though. If you can hold off, save your money, do whatever you gotta do and go to a store and buy whatever you're looking for outright. Super professional and incredibly helpful through the whole process. It's a process, a system. But, if you work the system, it works!! You park, get in line, get on the list, told when you are going to get help and help comes!! I got a new phone for myself with Colton's help, then a few weeks later, got phones for my daughter and father and again, with Colton's help. I was easy for me, my daughter's situation was moderate, my dad was complicated. Colton didn't skip a beat and we have three new phones in our home and three happy customers. If you are up to it and are willing to work the system, their system does work. If you are impatient and crabby, I get it, but it's going to take a lot longer to resolve. So, my advice, be patient, realize that we are all in this together, that the staff is just doing their job and doing it to best of their ability with the resources available.
