    After my previous experience elsewhere, I was relieved to finally find a shop that listened to what…read moreI was actually saying. After exchanging emails with Sound Fast, I scheduled a drop-off time for my truck. When I arrived, I was greeted professionally, and all of my concerns had already been documented. We went out to my truck together to listen to the stereo issues I had been experiencing. The sound was adjusted immediately and sounded much better, although the cutting-out issue still needed to be addressed. While they had my truck, they corrected several things that had been missed by the previous installer. They properly installed the USB port instead of leaving it hanging out of my glove box, removed an old microphone from a previous stereo installation, and installed the backup camera that I had asked to have installed but was never completed by the previous shop. Most importantly, they took the time to properly diagnose the root cause of the problem. It turned out the speakers were faulty. While I still need to replace the speakers, they successfully fixed the issues that had been driving me crazy for months--the stereo cutting out and the battery drain problem. I really appreciated the customer service. The team listened to my concerns, communicated clearly, and treated me with respect. I never felt like a nuisance or that my concerns were being dismissed. Unfortunately, I ended up spending about $700 to get to the root of a problem that likely could have been identified much earlier, but that wasn't Sound Fast's fault. They were the first shop that actually listened and took the time to diagnose the issue instead of simply replacing parts. If you're looking for a shop that values customer service, communication, and proper troubleshooting, I'd definitely recommend Sound Fast. They fixed problems that another shop missed and gave me confidence that my vehicle was finally being looked at the right way.

But when they say yeah we have it but drive down so we can look and make sure just know it's a waste of time. AGU fuses are bog standard amp and battery fuses, so here are a few others as well that have standard names not associated with brands and hay come in all sorts of kits but what a bunch of donuts.

I was told to just drop it off on 3/2--no specific time was given. When I arrived at 9:30 AM, George didn't know who I was and said he had marked me as a no-show. That should have been my first red flag. I left my truck anyway and was told I'd get a text when it was ready. By 3 PM, I hadn't heard anything, so I called--only to find out it had already been done and no one bothered to notify me. When I picked it up, I was told the dashboard piece we had discussed the week before wasn't ordered and would take about a week. Two weeks later, I had to call again, and once again George had no idea what I was talking about--though somehow the part was there. I scheduled another appointment, and the same thing happened: no call or text when it was ready. We had to stop by, and my truck was just sitting in the lot. To make things worse, the stereo is still having the same issue--music cuts out randomly. I stopped in again on 4/3 and scheduled a follow-up for 4/9, but needed to reschedule. When I called, George again didn't know why I was coming in, put me on hold saying he was "under a car," and never returned to the phone call. I waited nearly 10 minutes before having to hang up and go back to work. I followed up with a text and never got a response. At this point, I'm done. The communication is terrible, the issue was never fixed, and I've had to make multiple trips for something that should have been handled correctly the first time. I just wanted a working stereo--not this level of hassle. I'll be taking my truck somewhere else.
