Has anyone else noticed that to use a gift card online that you have to give to your credit card number? So that they can put it into their system that's a terrible idea. I will not be buying any more gift cards from target because all they want is my bank account and every time I give it to them it gets hacked. That's why I thought I would just go online and buy a couple things and get off but no they wanted me to open a whole account. This is literally the most depressed Target ever. I feel so bad for the employees who do actually work there. They always seem miserable and sad. Shelves are usually messy or empty. Sad that this is the only Target to shop out in the area. read more

I had a mixed bag set of feelings regarding this location for quite some time, until Winter set in. The store is off and on clean, sometimes in a rather gross state and sometimes pretty clean but usually right in the middle of the cleanliness meter. I did have some great interactions with some staff and some not so great with members of the team that really did not give a crap about the customer experience. Come winter time, I was rather appalled at how they handle things and found out the hard way that it is rather a half assed attempt at public safety. The parking lot was plowed but not in key areas of pedestrian traffic, in the shade and a hazard to those walking in these areas. The store manager did not care to correct it which is a shame. It is a numbers game unfortunately I was witness to someone being hurt due to the state of the parking lot. read more

Interview/hiring process was drug out for 2 1/2 months, and after multiple hoop jumping and scheduling interviews on my end just for them to not have the correct date of the interview so had to reschedule for ANOTHER week out. Interview went very well nothing but praise and excitement for working with me. Then told they were waiting on a GM to make the descion and sign off. The paper sat on his desk for a week. Then he went on a 2 week vacation, putting me at a month and a half into the hiring process then radio silence. After zero communication from the store manager, I had to contact the recruiter who did my screening interview nearly 2 months prior to find out what's going on. She said that they were adjusting head counts and the position had been put on hold. Nobody thought to contact me and inform me so I could move on and look elsewhere. I was kept hanging being promised a descion and had to take it upon myself to get an answer because they werent professional enough told hold themselves to their own standards and communicate. If that was how the hiring process was handled I could only imagine the garbage I wouldve had to deal with if id gotten the position. ZERO respect and consideration for candidates time and effort fixing their mistakes. I can tell I dodged a stressful bullet,just by the way this was handled and the lack of professional communication on their end. Don't waste your time. They have no respect for it. read more

Staff at this target were great. Good Covid precautions and they didn't carry what I was looking for, certain brand they don't carry but the gal i asked was helpful and able to direct me across the street to a place that carried it and gave alternatives to the brand that target carried. One extra star for the kind employees working here. Everything else about this Target is simply atrocious. Entire sections of items out of stock. Almost no size selection available in the clothing area. Entire aisles of items thrown on the floor for days. Most of the clothes are strewn about - once I saw a pile of 100s of items with a single person expected to put everything back. I felt so bad for her. Checking out is an extreme sport because of the massive line and people cutting in with zero guidance. Every time I come in I am consistently disappointed. I wish there was a way to improve this store because I used to love shopping at Target, but I will not be back. read more

I'd give it negative stars if I could. People say your low inventory is due to being in Bend, then why do other companies such as REI,Walmart and everyone else have a full stocked store. Selling anything and everything you could possibly want minimalistically, often busy.

Just your typical, basic Target but smaller and lacking normal inventory compared to Targets in bigger cities. We really can't complain, just happy to have Target at all. I recently went to Wal-Mart the first time after a year of living here in Bend and it definitely is larger and has more of everything. Don't get me wrong I'm still Team Target but just know you have other options, including Target delivery for items they don't have in our store. Staff, location, parking and cleanliness are all great. read more

I come to this Target a lot. Probably a couple times each week. The store may be small but always have a good Target experience. Recently though, we've been picking up A LOT of EXPIRED foods. What's even more horrifying, most foods I buy from Target is what I serve my kid. Since we aren't going to be buying groceries from Target much longer, we definitely won't be shopping at Target as often. read more

I thought that with the remodel things would improve, nope still bad. All the clothes I bought last year got balls all over the front of the shirts and sweaters within a few days of use. All of them ! Such poor quality for target prices. Ehhhh it's a target. However a large number of isles are empty. And I understand how Covid can affect this, however other stores in the area don't have this issue. Also their staff don't seem happy and are a little abrasive. Not many good vibes here. read more

Lots of empty product spots in both GM and grocery areas. Employees on the floor are not helpful. I asked the guy stocking the fresh section if they sold mascarpone cheese and he simply pointed and said, "Cheese is over there", pointing to the bags of shredded cheese. I tried to explain that it is nit really "cheese" but he pointed and repeated himself. He clearly had no interest in helping a customer. This is a pitiful store. read more

No distancing possible. The employees were wearing masks, but very few of the customers. I'll go to Walmart at the other end of town. They're doing a much better job of monitoring their store! I love you Target! Target seems to always be a stop of mine, no matter where I am. It's extra nice though to shop Target in a sales-tax free state like Oregon. TY!! Love it! One thing about this Target, is that the layout is different than most other Targets I frequent. When you enter this store, the electronics dept is all the way on your far right hand side. (Most that I go to, the electronics is in the back.) The check-out lines started backing up yesterday, but a mgr was there right away to open up extra lanes for us bullseye shoppers. read more

While walking into the store we noticed an individual sitting outside, head in his hands, sobbing loudly. We proceeded into the store and a few minutes later, while crossing through the clothing, noticed the same individual in the store, leaning down against one of the pillars, talking on his cell phone, still crying. I approached the cashier and asked to speak to a manager. Cashier M___ refused my request and insisted that she could help me. I told her of the incident and as I spoke her eyes just kept getting wider. I indicated that I was simply concerned about the man's mental-health and felt that his safety should be addressed. She immediately said "oh let me go tell my manager!". When a customer asks for a manager they should be referred to one instead of having their story retold by a cashier like it's a game of telephone. read more

My family and I are new to town and have always been skeptical of Targets but we decided to come in on Black Friday of all days and thankfully it wasn't as chaotic as we had expected. I was pleased to leave with everything we had come in for and happy with how smoothly the workers were with keeping the 6ft distance and helping others to keep their distance too. These two very lovely ladies named Angelica and Nancy were effortlessly guiding everyone to specific lines and it made everything flow so fast and smooth, so a HUGE thank you to them for speeding it up. This Target just makes me sad. I used to LOVE going to Target -- great design, style + value. I shopped there on a weekly basis... until I moved to Bend. The first time I visited the Bend store, I thought the bare shelves were due to the supply chain issues or something, but on subsequent visits it's always been the same... nothing on the shelves in some aisles, empty bins, sold out of products, no size choices, etc. So I just stopped going. Today I thought I'd give it another shot... I shouldn't have. Walking in, the dollar section was empty, that should have been my fist clue that things were still bad. And it went downhill from there. Still the empty shelves, didn't have what I needed, and I left without purchasing anything. Not sure what's going on here or why it's so poorly stocked, but I won't bother attempting to shop here again. read more

Not exactly the quality of Target that I'm used to. The grocery half of the store seems to have it a bit more "together" but the rest of the store seemed haphazardly put together and not really clean and organized. I didn't spend a lot of time there, but I'm glad I wasn't looking for anything specific. It doesn't appear to be a very busy location, but it still has your usual Target perks - Cartwheel coupons, 5% off with your Red Card. This location could easily be a 4-star location with just a little TLC. read more

This target is pretty infamous for its bad management and poor treatment of employees. When that happens you can bet that the store will suffer, little to no merchandise on shelves, poor customer service and a messy store is a pretty big turn off even when you're shopping for basics like paper towels or house cleaners. I know everywhere is suffering because of the pandemic and shortages, but this place seems to have given up. The bar of standards is on the floor and they can't meet it. Target... Schmarget. It's an okay place to buy crap. Have you seen their Men's Department? More like the Man-Child Department... Seriously. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles tees and the like... what self respecting man would wear something like that? Limited selection of decent clothing. Go here for underwear and socks and not much else. Walking through the rest of the store you experience a slice of all the garbage our culture heaves up into the market place. How do some of these product companies stay in business? It boggles my mind. Rampant consumerism run amok, especially evident in the video game/ DVD/ electronics department. The people that work there are usually nice. The only time they weren't was when I had to ask if they had something I found online at their website, but it wasn't stocked in store. The lady at the customer service desk didn't even look at me when she told me it was only for order online... I'm sure she gets tired of rude people making entitled complaints.... similar to this review. This store is actually A-OK. It's a Target. You know what you're getting. Yes this store is dated. It's small and doesn't carry all of the products that larger Target locations offer. But, this store is adequate. Both the food and electronics departments are wonderful and convenient. The Bend store is very clean and well kept. The layout is updated and also very nice. Some of the employees are rude, but that's to be expected anywhere really. Others are friendly and helpful. Overall this store is a great place to shop in Bend. read more

I absolutely love target! Although the staff can be under qualified to explain things at times, they are always very helpful and will always try to get to the bottom of what I need. I love their app although I do get a bit confused and wish it was as easy to use as Safeway and did not have a limit. This is coming from someone who is so obsessed with Target...it's actually where I met my boyfriend. I have target cartwheel, apps, and the debit card. Target is part of my life. Anyway, I just moved to Bend from Salem, and I have to say that I am disappointed with this Target. It's gross, unorganized, and the people that work there are either dumb, rude, or both. There's one specific lady (I think she's Australian or British or something), and she's SO RUDE every time me and my mom shop there. She acts like her life is so damn difficult at target. She needs to learn how to smile and maybe get some training on customer service. If this target can hire better people, and keep it clean (namely the makeup section), this target would be fine. But for now, it's just a headache. read more
