This place has only improved for the better. Last time I was in this store was probably around 2011 or so? And as others have said, the staff were on the overly sales-y side. But this time that definitely wasn't the case. I came in to return a BUNCH of clothes that I had returned online. I believe it was Colton and Jasmine who were helping (with Jasmine being the main one who was getting everything taken care of). This literally took her almost 3 hours (yes... there was a LOT to return, haha). But she was so cool about it. She NEVER made me feel bad for returning all this stuff and instead, was thankful for me being so patient and apologetic that it was taking so long. The fault was w/ the system not playing nice because i was returning so much. So while I was waiting I was able to get educated on some things about Buckle which I didn't know and thought was really cool. First, any jeans you purchase from them can be hemmed for free! They have someone who comes in once/week (Wed eve i believe) and she takes care of everything. So you can come in anytime during the week and they will pin your jeans where you want them and then you can pick them up later after they've been hemmed. They recommended first washing the jeans after you buy them. That way they've done any of that first shrinking they'll do so you can get a more accurate fit. I actually didn't know they did this and was thinking I was going to need to order a size 34 length and have to pay to have it hemmed because I prefer something more like a 33 (which they don't carry). Second, you can get any style of jean you want in any of the washes they carry. So if I like one of the darker washes, and they don't have that style in your size, then you can request it and they'll get it for you. Finally, they have these 'jean' charts at the back of the store (for both the men and women) so you can get an idea how the different styles might fit. Then as I mentioned earlier, you can get any style in any wash you like. But the chart can be a helpful way to figure out which styles you might like to try first. So overall, highly recommend this Buckle location. Especially for anyone looking for a pair of jeans. They're customer service is truly 5 star. When they determined they wouldn't be able to return all the items in store (again, b/c of their system), they offered to send in everything themselves. They also paid for for it to get 2-day shipping so I'd get my refund sooner than later. And sure enough, w/in a couple days the refund came through. Basically they totally took care of me and saved me a bunch of time. So if you think you might like the style of clothes they offer, I'd highly recommend a visit. And for anyone shopping for jeans, I'd absolutely put them at the top of your list! :D read more

I went into the store and the manager was just flat out rude. She was over at the counter talking with her friends who came in and wanted nothing to do with me. Not even a smile or a "Welcome in". I happened to know one of her friends and wanted to say hi, so I stayed behind so I didn't interrupt. She kept side eyeing me like my presence was annoying her so finally she snapped at me saying " Um can I help you with something?" in a very snotty way. I'm not impressed. I hope she figures her stuff out because that was uncalled for. Also the service in there was filled with rude and petty employees. I'm not coming back anytime soon. Buckle work on your employees and you might make more sales. read more

My mother went to this store after a long day of work to buy herself something nice for our family gathering later that day. She came home upset and insecure, saying a worker had looked at her up and down and asked if she was looking for the clearance section. My mom is a first generation Mexican American and can hardly speak english but can very well understand it. nothing is more upsetting than hearing a hardworking parent face discrimination ever. read more

I love this location over all others I've been to! They have a great selection, clean store, and fabulous employees!! Jamie, who does alterations, is amazing and you cannot tell that anything was changed. I've had her work on jeans and a shirt, both turned out perfectly! I give it a two because the girls were half nice. I get it to close in 45 minutes but if you don't want us here to buy stuff than close at the time that works for you. Also found a really nice shirt but it was snagged, just asked if they had another one in the size. Totally cool if you don't. But their answer is oh just be careful when you wash it and saw a trick a you tube. Ohhh cool I can get stuff off of Amazon if I want a YouTube hack, not a 60 dollar shirt. Plus they only wanted to help my husband not me, I have money too even though I'm female. read more

Ew - this place is jammed packed with thee cheapest "made in China's" rags. The window advertises "free people" but I could not see past the mounds of clothing - badly staged retail store. And, who is working? No one greeted. And, ya definition need help in the store - but no one could be bothered. Just shocking. I took my sons girl friend shopping in Bend for her Birthday last week and this was one of the stores she wanted to stop at. We were greeted with very friendly staff, and as always they have a cute selection of shoes, clothes, and accessories! My sons girlfriend's Mom and I are BFF's so she was there. We all found ourselves some cute items! I had been wanting these yoga sandals for a while at our local store, but out of the corner of my eye I spotted these shiny silver sandals that I had been eye balling a heck of a lot longer than the yoga mat sandals. They only had the one pair of the shiny silver sandals, and guess what! They were just my size! It was meant to be!! Oh yeah, you bet your sweet cheeks I bought them as fast as I could! They are comfy too! The yoga mat sandals will be next, but I will probably buy them either online or at my nearest store as I don't live in Bend. I was so happy to be able to walk in, and have great customer service! It really matters in retail to be personable! Thank you to the management for really training your staff right! read more

I love the clothes, some of the cutest in town! But the sales team are too pushy... They make the whole experience unenjoyable, and I think its not worth it to go back honestly...... Bummer for me cause I do love the variety of the store, but hate to always get hounded to buy more and more and More Sh$%&^T I don't neeed!...... I'm surprised about the reviews about the staff. I thought the staff was attentive and friendly. The clothes are reminiscent of a lot of the skater shops so not too unique but very well priced. A lot of options but nothing I haven't seen in other stores. read more

i went into Buckle to pay off the remaining balance of my lay-away (thank you for continuing this service, btw! it's rare anymore). I was very sad and disappointed that somehow, someway, the white boots I had in a rather large collection of items came up missing from my lay-away bag. I am so grateful that Abby (oh man, i hope that is her name!) was there helping me. in a situation that I was counting on those boots for a New Years Eve outfit, the disappointment and frustration was clear, but sweet and supportive Abby made the difference. I could tell, she was just as frustrated as I was, she was very apologetic as she searched that whole store top to bottom - I could tell she cared, and she shared in my feelings. You know, so often people shrug you off when there is nothing they can do and you don't see the empathy or remorse in their eyes - not Abby.She offereed everything she could not being the owner or manager of the store. I'm very impressed with her ability to feel empathy, her tact, problem solving, and just all around customer service during such an unpleasant time in retail. She never did find my boots, but she cared, and i could tell. Thank you, Abby! My mom and I went in today on 4/17/18 around 2 o clock and the girls helped me find the perfect pair of denim for me. I was extremely picky and I apologized to them for that LOL but they were absolutely wonderful in helping me find the right fit and style and I left with kancans that I LOVE and some accessories. Never have I ever experienced such horrible customer service in my life, and I work in retail myself! I can't say I've ever had a good experience with Buckle in the first place, but tonight was truly ridiculous. I went in to return something tonight and immediately was treated like crap by the look on the manager/assistant manager's face. She kept trying to insist that I wore the shirt and that it was probably on the floor of my room and that my cat got all over it... Hmm, funny because last time I checked, I've never had a cat? She basically tried to make up some lame story that wasn't at all what I said. She mocked me the whole time, gave me a snotty attitude and called me "sweetie" in a derogatory way like 10 times throughout our conversation... Excuse me, I am maybe within five years of age difference of you. Treat me like the adult I am. So childish and rude, I was absolutely baffled. She shoved my money back at me so reluctantly and smirked at me as I left the store, and I left for good. Peace out Buckle, I will NEVER spend my money with you ever again, you guys truly are terrible. So so so glad to work for a different retail company who truly cares about their customers and proud of myself for always treating people with class and respect no matter the situation. We find the sales staff to be very helpful, especially in putting looks together and finding the right sizes. If a customer feels pressured, or believes the staff is pushy, then I guess you should say something. The clothes are very cute and very stylish - it is a nice addition for Bend; the age group that should shop there doesn't have a lot of choices here. They carry great brands and it is the place to go in town for the teen through 20s group. We particularly like Ariel - a wonderful staff person. read more
