I went here a few years ago when I had my wedding, I thought maybe we had just hit them on a bad…read moreday but after multiple people I know have gone here I only find fitting that I leave a review and to warn you this LOUSY dress shop. For starters all the pants for my groomsmen were entirely too big, the vests I ordered were the WRONG colors so we had to return them which caused us to not have enough vests due to their error. Were not helpful with the fact I had to travel 2.5 hours one way due to them taking personal days so all of the wedding parties attire was picked up less than 24 hours before the actual ceremony. The costs of alterations were outrageous for shoddy work at best. HEED MY WARNING!!! NEVER GO HERE!

I went to pick up my wedding dress at 3pm the day before my Saturday wedding, only to find that the…read morecleaner had gotten black grease on the neckline of my natural silk dress. Like, a lot of grease. It was bad. Needless to say, I was devastated. Mirror Pond (not the cleaner that had ruined it) kindly offered to try to remove the stain that evening, but after trying for an hour or two, they still couldn't get the black stain out. They called in an amazing seamstress (Jeani) who whisked me away to her shop above Cordially Invited. At this point, it was about 7:00pm on the Friday before a holiday weekend. Every other bridal and alterations shop had turned us away. Things got even better when Jeani invited Kelly, from Cordially Invited upstairs. ***Sidenote: Now, I am just going to say it - looking at Cordially Invited from the outside, it looks super "old Bend" and I would NEVER EVER have imagined the cute and fashionable things inside. I am sort of a jaded skeptic - and it surprised me. GO INSIDE. You will be thrilled by everything they have! In retrospect, I probably should have shopped for my dress there - though I really live in Portland. Ok, moving on... *** Jeani successfully altered the dress to hide the stain, but the entire right side of the bodice looked funny. Kelly immediately identified that it needed to be reshaped, and the pleats reset - since all the stain removal tactics had ruined the structure. Kelly offered to spend the evening pressing my dress and said she would deliver it to my house the morning of the wedding. I never doubted her for a second and was so grateful for her help. She was wonderful and the dress turned out MARVELOUS. I don't doubt that if I'd had to purchase a dress last minute, she would have been able to help me as well. Kelly and Jeani seriously saved my wedding, and I didn't even purchase my dress from them.

I have given this a week to settle, but watching the continued impact of Karen's tactlessness on my…read moredaughter is a cause to give warning. We brought my daughter's wedding dress to Karen to be hemmed and have the straps shortened. Having one's wedding dress fitted should feel joyful. It's a gorgeous dress that she has chosen and she looks beautiful in it. It might have helped if she had said anything like that anywhere along the line, but M was left with very different feelings. When I asked about a small wrinkle at the waistline, Karen's response was that the dress was too small and couldn't be let out. (I thought the height of the strap might solve it.) When we got to the hem, M said she didn't really want her feet showing. Karen didn't ask how M liked where she pinned it, just said it couldn't be any longer. When it was clear M wanted to take another look at what she had done, Karen seemed to have a hard time shifting gears. She finally said she understood that M didn't understand what we were doing, but that we could look again. It all felt a bit strange. Karen may be very good at her craft, but diplomacy is not her strong suit. Noone wants to be told they are too big for their wedding dress and too ignorant to understand having their hem pinned. The process was awkward and uncomfortable and has had a lasting impact. We took our business elsewhere as M had no desire to see Karen again.

What an incredible dry cleaners do not go anywhere else! I…read moredrive here from the coast and I absolutely love it. They had the best prices and they are the sweetest kindest people I've ever met. I hope they'll be here a long time and if they aren't, I hope their kids or family members will take over because this place is a jewel to find. I love the vintage feel it's old-fashioned, which is really cool. An old parking lot with big shady trees and inside beautiful kind people who will dry clean your clothes perfect. I've never seen my clothes so clean. I can't even believe it because the place I went to before was famous for cleaning clothes in an environmental way And then they closed down. I've gone through two dry cleaners that have closed down. Dry cleaners are extremely important and hard to find. Again, I drive from the coast I hope they're here 10 to 15 years because I'll keep coming back and bringing all my beautiful vintage clothing and coats which they clean so perfectly. They even found my bracelets and put them in a small pouch which I was so happy to find because some people would've stole them so they are very honest And they pack your clothes so carefully. The only thing I wish they didn't do is use as much paper on the hangers, but what can I do? I took all the paper off and recycled it and I'm keeping all the hangers and recycling and returning those as well to another dry cleaner nearby since it's kind of far for me. I don't regret the drive. I really love this place and I will be a good customer here for years and years to come.

Dearly me. The Gala consisted of a DJ , a raffle, and about 48 dollars worth of Costco: cookies, crackers, pre-cut cheese, pre-cut pineapple and whole strawberries. No goody bag full of samples, no fragrance reps handing out samples. No glasses or champagne or plates of fresh shrimp. No Amazing Deals of combination sets of product offered at super prices.... For the first time in years I missed Seattle. Seattle, with its luscious event, spanning a significant portion of the floor, dotted with helpful, eager reps quick to proffer a lipstick sample, a perfume miniature... We were met with some store employee wearing what could only be described as an aging stewardesses dress, all orange, shouting over the DJ, "All I need is your name and number!', referring to the raffle tickets available for all... not just those who had tickets in advance. Apparently, this 'Gala' amounted to no more than a 15% off fragrance and beauty. For anyone passing through. We think the staff here at this Macy's misses the point. Especially distrustful employee at the Sunglass Hut here, more concerned with the whereabouts of certain pairs of sunglasses, we later realized that she was concerned we were lifting them? , firing questions at her colleague (before assisting us with procuring the product we were asking for), 'Where are the round ones?! Did you move the others?! Where did you put those other ones?!' Good God. This female employee was so concerned we were there to steal, even though we wore the VIP wrist bands (yeah, ha ha.). Later, we realized she was peering into our shopping bags AFTER we bought two pairs of sunglasses from her... sheesh. This store location does not represent the brand. Abysmal service from store clerk at one register, excellent customer service from Customer Service representative at another. At one register, we spent $278, this is how our purchases were packaged and handed to us.
