Alot of cool stuff in there I wanted to look at but those dang employees need to chill out! My four friends and I who are female, walked into the Zumiez store here in Bend. We walked in and an employee told us that they were closing in two minutes and we said okay and their was still people in but we obviously left to not be a bother. We walked a little and looked back and saw three males walk in and he didn't tell them to leave, they stayed there for about 15 minutes and then left. Could have been a misunderstanding but it was just weird how they let in males but didn't let us in. read more

Just left this location, store was clean and the staff was super friendly! The girl who was helping us was so sweet and helpful! A manager was checking us out and the price on the box of shoes had gone up in price however the price was not changed on the box and there was no communication until taking my card on what the price actually was. I asked about the price and I got the excuse we ran out of tickets and we can't hand write on the boxes. I decided to leave without the shoes when he finally decided he would price match the box. I work in retail and I hate when people use this as an excuse to get what they want but in my opinion making sure a customer leaves on a good note is important so they feel like they can and want to come back. My son went in for a new pair of shoes tonight. Someone came and asked what he needed. He told them. They were up high so a ladder was needed. The guy said he would be right back and left. Never came back. They lost more than one sale. Our other son usually buys a pair of shoes there every other week. Not anymore. Way to lose business! read more

I love this location! I was trying to get a pair of shoes from the Redmond store in Washington. They didn't have them so I ordered them online. I got them sent from the store, which had them in stock. When I receive my shoes in the mail they put stickers in the shoebox and wrote me a little note saying to enjoy my new shoes. I placed an order for in store pickup. The website said that they had a pair in stock and that in store pickups will often be ready that day. I placed this order 3 days ago and i still have not received the conformation email saying that it is ready for pickup even though the payment has gone through. I called the store and when i said that i haven't heard back from them and was wondering if i could get any further information on my order the guy on the phone just said "sorry we cant check on anything for you just wait for the email it should come soon" and then hung up without notice, that was 2 days ago. Now I am going to be leaving Bend in 2 more days for Portland and wont be able to make a 3 hr drive for a pair of snow pants that should've been ready by their standards 3 days ago but I've already been charged for them. Normally I would understand possible delays around the holidays but it said it was in stock at the store and i had received no help what so ever from calling the store...... Increased rating after customer service did a very good job at processing my order after contacting them, they called the store and had my order ready within a few hours after receiving my email. I took my son into the location in Bend, OR and he picked out a T-shirt that he's wanted for a long time, we brought it up to pay, the cashier said "if you pick out anything on the buy one get one half off rack you I'll give you 50% off on that item." We say okay and spend another 20 minutes of my life I'll never get back looking and trying on stuff. We finally find something he likes and bring it up to the counter and the cashier then says "oh, I can't give you 50% off that because it's higher price than the t-shirt you originally picked out". I tell him that's crap because I was told "pick ANYTHING out and get half off that item". He says "sorry man". I tell him that I feel like I'm getting trapped by some scam when all I wanted to do was buy my son a T-shirt and I got conned into buying 2 things at full price! He says again "sorry man" with no indication of caring whatsoever. We leave and don't purchase anything. My son wants to know why we didn't buy anything and I tell him because we don't do business with a fraudulent businesses that want to hustle us. He says he understands and that the employees there were "stupid" anyway. I couldn't agree more. I don't want anything from Zumiez, but if whoever from their company reads this and it's their job to make their company better as a result of feedback, then I would elevate this situation and get someone involved that can contact this location in Bend, OR and educate the lousy employees there on proper customer care because it is about the worst I have ever experienced. I will never go back. The hustle that I went through when just trying to buy a T-shirt was truly awful.
