The item was out of stock but, a very nice lady took the time to check the stores inventory of that item in Sisters, Bend and Prineville and we got a friend to get that item in Prineville. I've been a member since the 70s and have never been displeased with anything about the business. Lowest prices for almost everything, always good products and great varieties of products. Avoid the manager with the name John - rude, knows zero about customer service and so unprofessional. Why in the world, who made this man manager? Walking around taking your little pen in and out of your apron looking down at everything and everyone is not called work. How dare you question why I was bringing in a defective product that was sold at your store. I made a return before, same defective item and was give zero issues and *no attitude* approved by the other manager Richard - so of course I would return the other defective items because I was informed I could and that it would be "made right". To the lovely lady that greeted me at the costumer service desk and was so kind to help - thank you thank you for being courteous and going above and beyond. Why are you not one of the managers? Unfortunately the problem did not get resolved - and that is totally fine. Beware of the items purchased at this store. I have had a BiMart card since the store opened in Redmond. Before that I had a card for the Bend store. I have always found the employees to be friendly, courteous and helpful. Stopping an employee and asking if they have an item or where an item is located always gets a courteous response and the information needed, or directions to the person who can help. read more

I have never gotten the correct online order. I made an online order, which had been a real bargain, thus I purchased 4 shirts. When I went to the store to picked up my order, I was using a walker did not check to see if my order was correct. It was not correct. Instead of being size 2x, they were all XL. Bi Mart Rocks! I don't like the idea of going into the grocery store since COVID, so I place a large monthly order online for delivery. For the small essentials I need in the meantime, bi-mart's got my back. I feel safe because they require everyone to wear masks. The food is towards the front by the registers, so I don't have to wander the whole store to get what I need. They even sell eggs, frozen pizza, and ice cream. Everyone is super nice and I can get in and out in under 10 minutes. Thanks everyone at Bi-Mart. You make COVID life easier! read more

Mostly only stop here for the pharmacy, which is great and they are always super helpful. I go in occasionally while waiting for my prescription to be filled and it's always been a fine experience. Usually I will just grab something to drink, but everyone has always been friendly while checking out. read more

I want to like Bi-Mart, because they're local and affordable, so it seems like every year I give them another chance. Almost every time I go, an employee says something snarky. The latest time was the worst, because I made a $44 purchase, and they didn't even require a PIN for my debit card. I would like to think they care that my card is actually mine and not stolen. I disagree with ethically questionable business practices that don't require a PIN for a significant purchase. I would rate Bi-Mart lower if my friend didn't work there. read more

At approx 5pm I entered the store as is my usual routine every week. I showed my certified letter from my Doctor as is my usual routine to gain entry into the store. This time i was told they could not accommodate my disability. I asked them why and they tried to force me to go against my Doctors strict orders before they would allow me entry into the store. I refused. Our Governor and the Oregon Health Authority passed a mask mandate in the state of Oregon. However in their own words they listed the following in the mandate... From Gov. Brown... Masks are not required for children under 12 (though parents are encouraged to assist those 2 and older to help them wear them when possible), as well as at locations where one is eating or drinking, or for those who are exerting themselves at gyms and the like, as long as six feet of physical distance are maintained. Also for those who have a medical condition that makes wearing a face mask difficult or dangerous to their health. From Oregon Health Authority,,, Individuals visiting indoor spaces open to the public are required to wear a mask, face shield, or face covering unless the individual: Is under 12 years of age. Has a medical condition that makes it hard to breathe when wearing a mask,face shield, or face covering. Has a disability that prevents the individual from wearing a mask, face shield, or face covering. Due to my disability my Doctor took it upon himself to write me an official letter stating that I cannot wear a mask. I showed it to the store manager of this establishment and they still refused to let me in. They are not only going against the Governor and OHA's rules but they are also going against the ADA rules which state... Examples of a person with a disability who might not be able to wear a face mask Individuals with respiratory disabilities such as asthma, chronic pulmonary disease (COPD), or cystic fibrosis may not be able to wear a face mask because of difficulty in or impaired breathing. People with respiratory disabilities should consult their own medical professional for advice about using face masks. The CDC also states that anyone who has trouble breathing should not wear a face mask. People with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), severe anxiety, or claustrophobia (an abnormal fear of being in enclosed or narrow places).may feel afraid or terrified when wearing a face mask. These individuals may not be able to stay calm or function when wearing a face mask. Some people with autism are sensitive to touch and texture. [ Covering the nose and mouth with fabric can cause sensory overload, feelings of panic, and extreme anxiety. A person who has cerebral palsy may have difficulty moving to put on or remove a face mask without assistance. Needless to say due to the fact that the store is now going against both a federal ADA law and a state mandate, I will no longer be shopping there even if they do change their minds and decide to follow the rules. read more

I've never met someone so willing to go out of their way for customers even when they are busy. Good store, and you know what? Better prices than Walmart on some items. MUCH MUCH friendlier staff than Walmart, and they're smiling. Gas cans, less here. Fire extinguishers, less here. Freeze dried food, less here. Camping gear, less here and an actual selection. Fishing gear, tons of stuff. Great gun selection and unlike Walmart they sell handguns at Bi-mart. You do not have to be a member, it just gives you some advantages. Had a problem, called the manager, he actually gave a hoot and helped me out, fantastic. Walmart? Went into bi mart on my 18th birthday to buy some ammunition so I could go out shooting with my dad. When I went to go check out the ammo the lady asked if I was 21 and I said no. She treated me like I was stupid for thinking I could buy it at 18 which is legal in Oregon. Maybe it was just a bad experience but I will not go back due to the stores policy that they have adopted from Dicks and Walmart. read more

After living out of state for many years, I was surprised to come back and find that Bi-Mart was still around. Their ads brought me in one day and I was pleasantly surprised at their selection and prices! They have a little bit of everything and I would say the prices compete pretty well with the large box stores. Everyone I encountered was very friendly and helpful. It gives me another alternative to Wal-Mart, which I don't love here. Plus it's so much better to support a local business when you can, especially when it's employee-owned. read more
