In early 2024 I had two discouraging experiences where they were out of a common medications. One time that meant enduring kidney stone pain until they could unpack their shipment later that day. It was called in on Thursday, and I can't go online and do it via the phone because it just puts me back to the main menu. This is regarding the pharmacy. The front end- I'm always greeted and helped in Riteaid. 1. Transferred from Walgreens a two years ago. The online app didn't work to transfer. I filled all the stuff out online with your app - didn't work. Walgreens called in RX's and then I still had to go in and fill out a paper of my RX's to get them to Riteaid. Took weeks to transfer. 2. Even though my RX's are on auto refill. I have to physically go in 90% just to put it up in line to be filled on time because (understandably) short handed from COVID at first . But that's been over a long while and I'm still doing it. Some just randomly stop auto refilling and they request from my provider who gets angry because I have refills. I'm not initiating this. 3. My blood thinning medication and autoimmune medications are consistently out of stock and I go a few days without it multiple times. 4. They do not answer the phone! The Drive through is closed. 5. Deliveries are an option I paid ahead three days ago and marked for delivery. I got a text this morning saying payments being held for pickup. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE! I did this service, this refill because I just had surgery. No one's answer the phone so I'm going to have to go in line when I already paid expecting delivery and be miserable. 6. They just added all the customers from a CO OP pharmacy that closed when they can't keep up with the customers they have already. 7. The app doesn't work I can't see when thing are being refilled or ready. Nor archive medication I get switched a lot having multiple health issues. When I prompt in person things tend to get refilled that I'm not taking and had asked to be removed. 8. This is a positive they are always friendly I'd hate to be behind that counter. 9. Corporate has a ton to fix. Sucks to not have more options in CO bc with all this it's still better than Walgreens, Walmart, Freddie's. PS: dust your counter read more

I arrived today for a scheduled vaccination only to be told they cancelled all appointments as didn't have anyone there to administer the vaccine. No notification at all...Wow. Very disappointed in Rite Aid. I've always had good service at the pharmacy up until today. read more

Sadly enough I just went through the Drive thur to pick up my Presciption for my wife. When I got to the window they were closed so I called to see if they were open like the sign said. It was 2:30 and they should have been opened by 2:00. The lady asked me for the DOB and when I gave it to her the pharmacist came to the window to tell me that they were closed on weekends. I told him I was Handicapped and had a hard time walking into the store. He didn't care and insisted they were to busy and understaffed. At that point there were no customers in the DT and at the front counter plus he was already talking to me on the speaker. Rude and not customer oriented at all. He just told me that " he wasn't going to get into that conversation". Even the handicapped people don't have any consideration. Should report to the ADA! read more

Called in a refill for sleeping pills. The system said that it would be ready before noon the next day and when I went to get them they still weren't ready and wouldn't be ready for another two hours. Again the pharmacy had 24 hours to complete this. I had a work shift to start and wasn't able to return to get the pills so now I've been up 24 hours all because the pharmacy took their sweet time getting them done read more

Wonderful staff, very accommodating I hope they get more staff, given the present circumstances, they are doing their best!

I have had nothing but good service from this store since I changed to them a year and a half ago. Not sure why others have problems. They have always been helpful although I never try to get them by phone, except to call in refills. My meds are often filled the very next day and someone always answers my questions read more

Horrible experience. 3 out of the 4 people I dealt with where unfriendly, one of them being the pharmacist who is down right rude, she is lacking in communication skills and customer service. This pharmacy is also not honouring the Good RX coupon pricing and over doubling the amount at the register. I will never be back in the future. read more

I don't provide reviews, but I seem to have continuing issues with the pharmacy. I call in the request for prescription refills and select the next day or 2nd day afternoon pick up. I don't get the prescription is ready for pick up text for a few days. I go to check on the prescription and I'm told they are several days behind based on staffing issues or they did not get the refill request. Today it's the same issue. I check on the prescription 2 days after it was requested, they tell me they are short staffed and it will be ready 2 hours later. I drive home and get the text notification it is ready for pick up. It is frustrating and a waist of fuel / time used to make sure they fill the prescription. read more

Rudeness in the pharmacy!!Immunizations were cancelled but I wasn't notified until I arrived. I said I didn't receive notice of a cancellation. She argued I did. (checked texts - did not) After I left she sent me the cancellation notice.!! She had told me in the rudest manner that they were short staffed. They may have been, but they were all just standing around talking when I got there, and there were absolutely no customers in line. Not only were they rude, but there was no apology for the inconvenience. Their attitude was not doing vaccines and that's it! Couldn't reschedule because she didn't know when they'd have enough staff. This always happens at this store. They even have a bright sign flashing outside that walk-ins can get vaccines. Not true! The same thing happened last year. It is just false advertising. Maybe you can get vaccines when nicer people who can handle their job are there. Service at this pharmacy just keeps getting worse. read more

No gripe with the items or customer service this trip but what was really upsetting is the fact that their delivery guy parked his truck in a HANDICAPPED parking place right in front of the store. Wish I would have called a cop to ticket him. Shameful. And I would expect the store manager to say something to this person. And respond to me! read more

I'd give them a ZERO if I could. I was using Redmond Pharmacy and Compounding, but the owner retired. He sent his customers to Redmond Rite Aid, who lied to him and said they would hire his employees. The first two times I went there the drive thru was open, it's been closed for months, and I haven't seen a single employee from my old pharmacy there. They are totally understaffed, I've called ALL DAY Yesterday and Today, NOBODY ANSWERS the PHONE. Totally understaffed, often 20 or more people in line, what a JOKE. Moving my prescriptions to Walmart, close to home, never seen more than five people in line. I've heard Rite Aid is circling the drain. I CAN SEE WHY. read more

I've been getting my prescriptions here for years. They have gone way downhill. My prescriptions are never ready, even after waiting days. when I call the phone just rings. 3 days in a row no one has answered. They are extremely short staffed which isn't their fault, but to tell someone who is waiting on an urgent med that they have to wait 3-5 days is uncalled for. I also have received texts many times stating my refill is ready, when I go to pick it up it isn't. I'm transferring to another pharmacy. read more

I've put off reviewing this location for some time because I desperately wanted to like it. I was hoping that the last few visits have been a fluke, maybe a bad day, but unfortunately, it seems that the Pharmacy staff is just unhappy. I've been using Rite Aid Pharmacy for my prescriptions for several years now, but the last few months have been consistently terrible with the pharmacy staff. The rude and abrupt employees can hardly be bothered with the friendly greetings or even a smile we've always had in the past. The pharmacy has slowly started to feel like an assembly line and less like the reliable, pleasant central Oregon hometown business it was in the past. read more

Friendly service and very prompt on refills, even same day. I cannot tell you how many times I have had a refill needed same day due to severe pain or health issues and have had to be at the mercy of another pharmacy's wait time. Had to bring my husband in to this location for the first time a few months ago, right after he was released from the hospital to fill a prescription. They got it done for him right away, for which I was exceedingly grateful. With this location, I just put in a refill request for 3 refills via the automated phone system, and selected that I wouldn't need them until tomorrow, the next business day. About 20 minutes later, if that, I receive the text notification that my refills are ready. That is awesome! Even other Rite Aid Pharmacies in other cities haven't been able to do that. I do realize other cities are much larger with bigger volume but I still really appreciate how on top of things this location is! read more

As far as Rite Aid's go, it's about what you'd expect. I only stopped in to use the restroom and buy some cigarettes but from what I saw it's very clean, well stocked, and organized well. Even with a bit of a line they went as quickly as they could and were very friendly while helping me. Can't ask for much more than that, no complains here! read more

Clerk Caroline, who checked out my purchases on 12/30/21 was pleasant and efficient, despite being barked at in front of customers by another employee behind the counter. Caroline explained to me she loved her job, but it was difficult because people were mean in this era and many colleagues had quit. Before I left, I saw her lead a customer to a wanted product on the shelves. She went above and beyond to be helpful. I will be sure to return to this store. read more

I have been using the drive thru at Rite Aid Pharmacy in Redmond, Oregon now for over a year. Up until yesterday my complaints have been relatively minor and I have learned to cope knowing two of my meds that I purchase every month are never in stock so I need to plan ahead by giving them more time (a couple of days) to fill the script for my COPD and Emphysema meds. My trip at the drive thru yesterday was very disturbing leaving me quite panicky. While being the second car in line I noticed the vehicle in front of me at the window was taking an excessive amount of time. I noticed the drawer at the window was open for almost 10 minutes. After that time I noticed someone in the vehicle throw what looked like a small vile bottle into the drawer. After another five minutes or so the vehicle drove off. After getting my meds I continued to worry all the way home. I then remembered the recording when I called in for my refills saying this Rite Aid has Covid 19 testing at the drive thru. So assuming that was what was happening with the vehicle in front of me I became extremely concerned for my health. Although I have been completely vaccinated and stay isolated in my house , but due to my pre existing lung conditions should I even become infected with a slight case there is a strong possibility of dying. Since I have not been inside of any store for over a year I felt thankful for the drive thru window at Rite Aid. I called the pharmacy when I returned home to ask questions about their Covid 19 testing procedures. After I asked about sanitation of the drawer I was told the drawer was cleaned after a test was done but since I saw the persons hand who did the test in front of me with no gloves on I did not feel assured a sanitization procedure was completed. I needed my meds so I paid extra attention to cleaning everything, credit card, bag, meds, hands and anything I touched that had been placed in the drawer. This is a huge dangerous issue to have people with a suspicion of being infected with Covid 19 and people trying desperately to stay alive by avoiding any contact with any people at all times. These two types of people should not co mingle at the same time. My suggestion is to have both services offered but each during certain time frames ONLY allowing the pharmacy the proper amount of time and to properly sanitize everything that has come in contact with the vile. After all the drive thru service is to prevent the sick from spreading their illness to customers in the store and the fragile customers to feel secure not being around contagious sick people. Please consider this suggestion. read more

The Pharmacy staff is more concerned with organizing than helping the only customer in the store. My prescription had been in for an hour and they hadn't even seen it. Then I had to go through an unnecessary long time to get into the system. They told me to come back in 20 minutes, I came back in 30 and they hadn't even touched it. Then I finally get everything and I have to wait another 10 mins for the pharmacist to go over my prescription I've taken a bunch of times before. I have been using Rite Aid in Redmond, OR to fill my prescriptions for over 10 years now, since they were over by Albertsons. The staff turn over in the pharmacy seems to be increasing at an exponential rate which is a very good clue about the staff and management. Rite Aid used to be one of the better pharmacies in town but with all the turn over of employees it is getting increasingly bad. The pharmacy used to be hopping filling prescriptions promptly, efficiently and politely. The quality of the pharmacy staff has consistently declined to ever increasing depths of stagnation and apathy. You can easily spend 5 minutes at the counter without having your presence even acknowledged. The Drive through is even worse. You easily spend 10 minutes waiting at the drive up window wondering if the pharmacy is actually open? I am not referring to a particularly busy day but a consistent lengthening of waiting times while the staff stands around gossiping and moving at a slugs pace... while the customers continue to stack up in line. I used to really like the staff and chat with them while they were actively filling my prescription. The current set of staff is incredibly RUDE, dismissive and very unpleasant to deal with. Evidently the pharmacy is no longer doing their job when they fill your prescription they are doing you a HUGE favor... or so their demeanor would suggest. It is obvious that the staff doesn't want to be there and they make no secrete of it. Most likely a result of really lousy management! The half hour posted pharmacist "Breaks"... HA! ...give or take an hour either way. "I can't do anything until the pharmacist is back... she should be back anytime now..." Customer service is DEAD at the Rite Aid pharmacy in Redmond Oregon! If management really wanted to improve their business they would take the pharmacy staff down the street for a lesson in hustle AND customer service from the kids at McDonalds! They could learn a LOT if they were open to observing employees with the customer service skills and motivation that no longer exist as Rite Aid. read more
