Wow, hard to know where to start here. I'm having an Rx compounded currently--and have been for…read moreover a month--and need to transfer it to Bend. Apparently Rose is the only place in Central Oregon still compounding...I called *everyone* else in town after reading the horrendous reviews on yelp first. Left with no other options, I reluctantly called Rose. I was so put off and offended by the pharmacist who took my call that there's NO WAY I'm ever doing business here!!! The pharmacist told me that my Rx is "illegal" to compound; when I told him I'm currently having it compounded & just want to transfer it to Bend when I'm in town, he assured me that "no reputable pharmacy" would be providing this service. I tried to *educate* him on what I've learned the past 2 months--that there is currently a drug shortage on Wegovy/semaglutide and that compounding has been permitted although this will be banned after April 21, 2025, however, he kept talking over me and wouldn't even let me finish. When I was able to get a word in, he was very condescending, dismissive, rude, and abrasive. I have a short day trip planned for Medford so I guess I'll do some major rearranging to coordinate going to a pharmacy when I'm there. Very sad and unfortunate, but I wouldn't recommend going to Rose to ANYONE I know based on my experience today.

I've heard some complain about his blunt comments and, frankly that's the primary thing I look for in a pharmacist. The reason is, he tells the truth and gives his opinion in short sentences, about just any question you want answered. Want him to speak bluntly? Just ask him why he doesn't do Medicare, and you'll get his firm and logical opinion. Want him to tell you about a specific prescription that you asked for, that he is dead set against producing it due to technical flaws that some compound specifics contain. He will tell you in no uncertain way. Early on in my days of using his services, I will have to admit that he caused me to raise my eyebrows a notch higher, as it was a "shock" to hear his comment. But I held on to him, since I "got" what he was saying and even if I didn't agree 100%, I respected his statements for what they were: his opinion and based on a whole lot more research than I had for proof. And he let me know the details, since I didn't say an airy "whell" and stick my nose in the air as I was leaving. Bob's a man of integrity, kindness, boldness, humor, fun, courage, and willing to explain his specific logic regarding his compounding and personal knowledge of decades of his life.

The Safeway pharmacy person admitted they rarely answer their phone. He also said the equivalent of "we're about to go on break, we'll get around to it whenever we get around to it." My pharmacist told me she'd never talked to or heard of anything this bad. This was a four hour ordeal for an extremely time sensitive medicine. This place is the worst. I did business with them a couple years ago also, and it was also stunningly bad. In this case I was helping out a relative who was too sick to deal with it. In the end, the relative went back to the ER and got the medicine there. Wow.

I've always thought that maybe she was having a bad day and always try to approach her in a friendly manner.I work in customer service and know that it is difficult to continually answer questions and handle people that are difficult. But it doesn't matter, she's always salty and a couple of weeks ago she was the worst. Admittedly, they do have a few people that are always helpful. But with their issues with the app lately, im going to try to find other places to go as often as I can.

They told me that my prescriptions are at their distribution center. The she said they could fill in store. I told them I have shopping to do at the store and I'll come back when I'm done. I came back and waited at the side line (limbo) for 45 minutes!!!!!! Their is hell on earth . Find another pharmacy.

They're doing SO many other things than just "grabbing" your meds... Me & my husband have been using this pharmacy for years! The staff are so helpful & kind! the pharmacists are thorough & knowledgeable (particularly Julie - she is absolutely incredible)!! The technicians are welcoming & also very helpful (HUGE shoutout to Sue - she's always so genuinely sweet). I'm quite confident that the majority of negative reviews are authored by those who've either never worked in a pharmacy or have failed to recognize the damaging effects of COVID-19 on staffing/logistics/etc. The pharmacy staff are juggling an unbelievable amount of varying tasks, while then having to try & de-escalate inconsiderate & impatient customers!! Try & take a deep breathe, put on a smile & thank them for everything they do!

On numerous occasions I have gone to get a prescription only to find a note on the door that they were closed for various reasons; i.e. staff meeting. What business closes for lunch? Drive through is never open and if it is the wait is well over 30-mins. Get a text that my prescription is ready, go to pick it up and told it will be 30-45 min. Why did I get the text? Unfortunately my insurance is not accepted at Drug Mart or I would never use Walgreens again. I have transferred most of my prescriptions to Express Scripts, a bit more expensive but 100% more reliable. If you have a choice don't use Walgreens.

I double checked the phone #, which was correct. My doctor called again. Rude to my doctor when she called the prescription in again, and then admitted it was in the voicemail but they didn't listen to it. Rude assistants and pharmacists that apparently don't think voicemails should be checked. Then after they have my prescription at the register make me wait until the entire line that formed (after I waited in line twice because they didn't do their job) was cleared before they called me up. Horrible experience. I'm really glad that they are not my regular pharmacy.
