This place has seriously improved and has a lot of healthy options. I also appreciate that you can get an organic large coffee for $2.

Limited options and VERY overpriced. Taking advantage of the fact they're the only food service available on campus & nearby.

After having driven by this cafe on multiple occasions, I finally stopped in here with a friend for…read morebreakfast. We each got the salmon bagel, tea, and a latte, then found a table on their cozy and beautiful back patio. The drinks came out in beautifully painted drink ware. This place was such a nice spot to catch up and chit chat over good food. The servers were super friendly and helpful, and we never once felt rushed to leave or vacate our table. The noise level was just right, too. You would think being on A St would mean we'd hear cars the entire time and would have to talk over other tables, but everyone was respectful of each other and my friend and I could hear one another speaking just fine. Parking is limited; there were maybe 4-5 spots on the side of Sandra's Barberia, but you can park on the street and walk over.

There is limited indoor seating, but I'd recommend eating outside anyway. I love the homey vibes with their decorations and silverware. I didn't order a drink, but the traditional clay mugs were a great touch. The Chipotle and El Despercidio sandwiches were both simple, but good. I think it was a bit overpriced for what it was, but I would still prefer to support a local business than a chain restaurant.

I like that they have a rotating seasonal menu as well. This time I tried the Iced Ube Latte from the summer menu. I didn't really have high hopes since ube seems to be everywhere lately and not always executed well, but I thought this drink was actually pretty tasty and strong. I always feel like I can get work done and focus here because of how open and spacious it is. Love the view and natural light that radiates inside as well. So many tables and seating options inside and out. Bathrooms are always clean with many stalls available. Service is friendly. Great place to get caffeinated and study or catch up with friends.

The salted maple latte was just ok... sadly it looked better than it tasted. I wasn't a huge fan of their espresso as it left a very sour after taste, even with the sweet maple syrup it wasn't very pleasant. Good espresso should be balanced and coffee forward, and I didn't get that. Almond croissant was great, but I was a bit disappointed in their coffee. Ambience is great for studying or getting some work done.

If you're thinking about giving a food birthday gift or if you know someone who just needs a food…read morepick-me-up, get a box of pastries for them here! Not only are the pastries some of the prettiest that I've seen but they're actually quite tasty (and not too sweet either)! Comes in a nice branded box too. Before I rattle off my reviews of the pastries that I tried I'll say that the pastries here, although laminated, have no crisp and are strictly the soft and chewy type (think Costco croissants). I prefer some crisp, but I wouldn't hesitate on returning here to try more things. - French tart: amaaazing egg custard filling. It's so milky it's almost flan-like! - Brownie fruit tart: omg prob one of my fave brownie textures; not fudgy-dry and not too-cake-like either. Nailed the custard filling as well. I'd say my fave pastry in the bunch. - Passion fruit ganache danish: deliciously tart passion fruit filling! - Sweet cheese bowtie: funny enough the sweet cheese reminds me a lot of Cheez Whiz haha (nostalgic for me) but silkier and lighter in taste. The sweet cheese is only in the center of the bowtie. - Ham & cheese: flavorful ham but could've had a little bit more of it. The cheese part tastes similar to the cheese filling in the sweet cheese bowtie. - Ube moon: mad props for ube jam actually being used here instead of just ube extract like at most bakeries that offer ube treats. I will say though that the ube filling is a bit too dense; maybe the ube jam could've been mixed with some custard to make the filling lighter. Only a couple of customers in line when I visited on a Sunday early afternoon and the display case was still more-than-half full. Okay-ish service; the lady at the cashier was primarily focused on quickly completing orders.

I have always been astounded by the beautiful pastries here at Ones, and I finally got to try it…read more Who knows how long it has been in my saved folder lol.. Though the bakery is pretty small, it was perfectly cozy with plenty outdoor seating available. There are a couple tables outside, and a bar-style seating area outside. Plus, a lot of parking spaces are available! The pastries are displayed beautifully under the warm lights of the shelf. Totally cute! Most importantly.. Instagram worthy! I got two original croissants, an orange creme brulee, and a strawberry crescent croissant. The original croissants were perfectly crunchy, and not too airy that there isn't anything inside the shell. Pretty dense in you ask me, and I love it that way! The orange creme brulee was really pretty. Caught my eye in the crowd! Though I thought that the croissant-style bread on the outside of the pastry was not crispy enough, the creme brulee definitely had a rich orange-y aroma. The strawberry crescent was my absolute favorite. I love how the hard, dense outside contrasted with the creamy center. The strawberry cream in the center isn't too sweet in my opinion! The shape wasn't just creative, it was also so fun to eat! You'll be seeing me again!

I placed an online order and checked in when I arrived to pick it up. The cashier (a woman wearing glasses) barely acknowledged me, simply looked at the screen and said, "We're still working on it." After that, she continued taking new customer orders, and it appeared those drinks were being prepared before mine. A little later, another customer came in to pick up an online order, and one of the baristas immediately started making her drinks. By that point, I had already been waiting for over 20 minutes. I eventually flagged down one of the baristas in the back, who kindly apologized for the delay and quickly prepared my order. I appreciate how friendly and helpful the barista was, but the overall pickup process was frustrating and made it seem like my online order had been overlooked. I hope the store can provide additional training to ensure online pickup orders are handled more consistently and that customers are acknowledged and kept informed while they wait.
