Food hall located in Hayward with many ghost kitchens available. From Korean to boba to El Salvadorian to Persian to Hawaiian, this place has it all. Miscellaneous: - Can order ahead online and pick up - Lockers available for those not picking up their food right away - Parking available via a shared parking lot - 2 high top tables that can seat 4 and 4 regular tables that can seat 4 available - We came on a hot day and there wasn't AC (just a heads up) - Unisex bathrooms available in the back

This is what I think some big tech companies want our food to look like in the future: hospital cafeteria. You go in, order at a kiosk, and then your name is called out at the counter or you can pick up your food at a locker with a link. The good about this place: the abundance of food options, the time estimate, and there's some seating. The bad: the time estimates are not always correct (in fact my boba came out almost 15 minutes after the estimated time), the seating is sparse with just 6 small cramped tables and some bar chairs, and you cannot really correct your order given the impersonal nature of the food. On top of that, the kiosks ask you if you want to tip even though you've had no human interaction at that point - and there's no "other" option for tipping, only set percentages of 15%, 20%, 22%, or nothing. This place really makes you feel uneasy about the direction of tech and fast food. Makes you wonder how much these folks are getting paid to cook our food. And then the amount of packaging does not make you feel great either. Everything was packed in plastic and paper. It's not the best. Things here are a hit or miss. We also had a problem with my boba being too hard and uncooked, and I got it anyways. My chicken gyro had little flavor. My partner loved his eel bowl and spam musubi. We weren't a fan of the chocolate dosa. But we were impressed we could order as much of a variety as we did. This place could use some more life. There was no music playing. And I heard people asking about their orders, food delivery people walking in and out looking at the lockers and screens for status updates, and then unknowing customers walking in exclaiming that they thought it'd be a food hall and not like this, and then walk out. Not sure if we would be excited to come back, but if we do, it'd be on a night my partner and I were craving something different than each other.

East Bay Eats is a new ghost kitchen located in Downtown Hayward offering various eats under one roof. The concept is more for delivery and takeout with a few tables for dining. My first order and visit was for Didar Persian Cuisine and did not disappoint. It's best to order online via: https://eastbay-eats.com to minimize the wait or you can order at the kitchen. When you arrive, there's someone at the counter to assist with pickup, ordering at the touchscreen kiosk and answer any questions. Friendly, welcoming and professional. Great concept but I wish they offered a bit more variety with regard to cuisines. I love Middle Eastern, Persian and Indian food but this location had very similar flavors and items. Also, I was hoping for some new purveyors or startups but noticed restaurants that already exist within 4 miles of this ghost kitchen. Still a great concept and Hayward is in need of upping its culinary scene with more food creatives. Looking forward to trying other items: BBQ, Hawaiian sweets, Korean, and Chinese noodle spot. Plenty of lot parking.

We've been there a couple of times. We love the choices from Homemade Onolicious bread, cookies , cakes & Furikake mix ! I'm pretty sure we've tried it all ! I did order the lemon crunch cake for my birthday and it was light , fluffy & lemon & crunchy toffee yumminess . Tina the owner is very kind & full of OHANA hospitality. The whole East Bay eats is a variety of different foods in a ghost kitchen setting . It is very clean inside. Looking forward to trying out the all the varieties of food . The only downside is the area to eat all these different foods , seating is limited & no outdoor tables to enjoy a beautiful California day . I wouldn't recommend a huge party unless you're going to tailgate in the parking lot . It is very easy to order on the kiosk & it literally comes out quickly .

This place is fairly new. I stopped by to check it out since I've been wondering what it was all about. I was happily surprised of what it is they do in there. I spoke to one of the workers and I was told that they basically do ghost kitchens. Where restaurants pay for space to be able to cook what they normally cook from their menus. That is awesome! Especially since going to the restaurants sometimes takes a long time or maybe too far. To place an order you can either order online or on the app by scanning the QR code on the window or walking inside they have two large kiosks touch screen where you see what ghost kitchens are available at the time. They have a small section where you can actually eat there once your food is ready. The food itself is made exactly as if you were at the restaurant. The only difference is that they give you your food in a to go container since this is basically that.. orders to go. I had pupusas from Las Cabañas Pupuseria. Popular salvadoeian restaurant here in Hayward. So pupluar that food sometimes takes a long while to get. Here I waited no longer than 15mns. Once you place the order you basically pay on the kiosk put in your phone number and you get a text when they're preparing your food when your food is ready and that's it. East Bay eats welcome to Hayward. I will definitely be a returning customer. With so many different restaurants underneath one roof. This Amazing! For those of you wondering there's a huge parking lot so parking is never an issue. If you haven't already please check them out, you will not be disappointed.

This is the guava cake I would say omg the guava in this cake was amazing wow ! But the whip cream had no flavor what so ever

You don't talk to anybody you just order on the tablet is multiple restaurants in one building. It's amazing you get to see what each place has to offer. I went with a dessert today. I picked mom's Hawaiian bakes. Can't wait to see how the cakes look and how they taste. The price was not that bad I paid for 2 cakes $17. The place was not packed at all and it tells you how long is your wait time for your food to be ready. The place is clean from the inside. If you want to eat your food here they have tables and chairs good lighting as well. Come on down and try this hidden gem

I was really excited to check this out and even more excited that it's here in Hayward. The entrance is off the Downtown Hayward parking lot that is behind Buffalo Bills and Casa Del Toro. You can order ahead online or they have kiosks for you to order when you arrive. The kiosk is really easy to use you're able to see all the different restaurants available and their menu. We had to wait about 10-15 mins for our order to be ready and since it was busy they just called out name out. They do have a few tables there for you to eat, but we just took our food home. They do also have 2 restrooms if you need it. I ordered from Pupusas Las Cabañas and got 2 revuelta pupusas. They were a bit cold when I got home, but it was just from the drive home. I really like this concept of multiple kitchens in one area as it helps feed into the cravings of different people. I would recommend and return.

Love this ghost kitchen concept in Hayward ! So many delicious Choices and options for those days you are unsure. Service was quick we ordered ahead of time . Place is clean staff is friendly . This was for Bobjip Special kitchen . Everything was so delicious!! Omg the rice cakes are the best I've had . I can kill the container by myself to be honest . I can't wait to come back and try other places and dishes

They have little robots carrying food around the building, really cool! You can see em from the front desk area

Pretty interesting concept. It's not really a cafeteria and you don't actually get to see who makes your food and how they make it. It's a ghost kitchen! First one I've seen pop up in our area. You order from the website or the tablets inside, and there are about 20 or something different vendors to choose from. Once you complete your order, you'll eventually get a text with a link that will let you open a locker containing your order. The downside is that you can only order from one vendor at a time. It would've been nice to be able to add multiple vendors to the cart. Inside is pretty basic, you've got a lobby with lockers and 2 small sitting areas. There are people at the front desk that can assist you or answer any questions. We've used this place a few times; Mom's has been overall amazing with their sweets. Bobjip was alright; we tried their kimbaps but never got a chance to order the fried chicken. Musubi Libre has some solid spam musubis with unique twists. FreshZilla pizza was just ok. You can give feedback via text once your order is completed; I gave 5 stars when I got good food, and 1 Star when I didn't which resulted in a survey in which the business I rated badly gave me a call back. Overall though very convenient and efficient place to get some quick takeout! Just wait in your car or order in advance and come in and out to pickup your order from the locker. 4 stars based on the ratio of bad to good to amazing vendors we've tried. Everything else from the ordering process to picking up is pretty smooth.

    krys l.

it is a ghost kitchen lot, which is definitely an experience. the kiosk is not a fun away to order as for each different vendor you have to order separately. so me doing like five different transactions was not! the best. the food is decent, i feel like if youre eating out with multiple people and you all are craving something different sure! but you won't get the best quality of everything you are ordering. you have to wait a while for everything it just isn't something i will rush to order from again or even order from doordash

When leaving from the place I had to take this pic to show my gratitude

OK so it was like life still going and you're in the middle of the day , you decided to get food from East Bay eats and you walk in . there is a guy called Gabriel a real gentleman . Yes that's his nameHis service was absolutely amazing. To the point where you remove change from the busy traffic life to a nice mood because of this guy customer service, and they say sometimes it takes only one word to make a difference to someone. That is what I experienced and also, that's why I'm riding this review and yes, I want to say thank Gabriel and management so much That's called great people those who give good customer service to people no matter what they are, no matter what they'r from ,no matter what they beliefs. Thank you so much Gabriel I wish you the best.

Store front while still waiting almost an hour with no food!

We ordered food at 7:03 PM. It said it would be ready in 13-23 minutes. We have been waiting 50 minutes and still no food. We asked to cancel our order and were told no refunds or cancellations. You are better off going to the brick and mortar of your restaurant. This place is a joke!

After shopping, for lunch I decided to eat at Adrienne's Wild Wings. I'm a sucker for wings, but I've never been to Adrienne's Wild Wings before. I asked the cashier what sauce she would recommend. She stated one of the sauces she liked was honey garlic. I ordered 10-piece combo that included ten wings, side order, and dessert. For the side order I choose tater tats while for the dessert I selected cheesecake. The 10-piece combo comes with two sauces. I choose honey butter, which is the dry rub, and honey garlic. I believe sauces should be used for flavoring not hiding. What do I mean by that? I've noticed sometimes sauces mask how dry the meat is. I decided to taste the honey butter first to see how moist the meat is inside. After taking a bite two things came to mind. First I couldn't taste the honey butter. Second the meat was moist. I tried the honey garlic. The cashier said the honey garlic was spicy. However I felt the honey garlic was spicy at all. Yet the honey garlic sauce was very flavorful. What did I like more the honey butter or honey garlic? I say this was toss up as I can taste more of the meat from the honey butter, yet I can enjoy the sauce of the honey garlic. The tater tots were disappointing as they were bland. The cheesecake was light. I don't shop at Southland Mall often. If I go back Southland Mall and become hungry for lunch I can see myself going back to Adrienne's Wild Wings.
