    12. Sesame Chicken
    David F.

I ordered the House Chow Mein, Chicken Dumplings with green chives, Steamed Pork Buns and Sesame Chicken. The dumplings were ok but I didn't care for the sauce that came with them. House chow mein wasn't bad. The sesame chicken was ok but I wouldn't get it again. The bbq pork in the bun was good but the bun itself was not. Food isn't terrible by any means but it's just not my cup of tea.

Restaurant in an abandoned parking lot . There is no indoor seating it is blocked off inside . Pretty messy and stuff everywhere. The lady was really nice and acknowledged us right away. Food was priced average for these days but definitely not worth the price. Food was very disappointing. With dumpling in the name I was expecting more but was very disappointed.

    Burnt Chicken chow mien

Got some chicken chow mein and the noodles tasted burnt. I went back and asked them to redo it. They said no they wouldn't because that's the way it is. Would not recommend going here.

Pork Egg Foo 1. BBQ Pork Egg Fu Young

First the good: friendly staff and super hot food! Now the bad: I ordered Egg Foo Young and I've never seen egg foo young that looked like what I ordered, veggies were full size and it looked more like an egg scramble with no taste. The gravy was so thin it could be passed as soup broth. Probably not going back-$16 thrown out. Sorry, I wanted this place to work for me because it's close to home.

They have 15+ Dumpling options with different ingredients and proteins, you can order them cooked or frozen and make them later, it's the only local place I can think of with this many dumpling options. It's in the same plaza as Harbor Freight and Bamboo Steamer, another dumpling place is not too far from here. XLB: My kids love these and there are too many good options in this area, they won't eat ones that don't taste good and devoured these easily. Pork Dumpling with Corn: Wanted to try something new and these had well marinated meat and lots of corn in it. Best part was dumpling skin was nice and thin. Yeung Chow Fried Rice: I love this fried rice, I don't know why I wait for Chinese or Vietnamese weddings to have it, it was pretty good from Elite Dumpling. Only thing I wish was more shrimp and BBQ pork.

    3. Ma-Po Tofu

We were out and about and hungry. I thought about going to another place when she reminded me that they were closed on Mondays. Bummer. Elite Dumpling has usually been good for us so off we went! Our plan was to order three or four items and then go home to make some rice. So while I was outside walking the dog, she went inside to place our order. We had agreed on: Singapore Rice Noodles - 3 - The sauce wasn't as plentiful and flavorful as the first time we had it. We also felt that it could have used more egg. Ma-Po Tofu - 3 - The score doesn't fully reflect how we felt about this dish. The tofu was nice and soft, but the sauce had the wrong flavor. It was spicy but it was overwhelming flavored with jalapeno peppers. Basil Eggplant with Tofu - 3 - The Basil was obviously in the dish but it didn't seem to add much flavor to the dish. The Eggplant was excellent. The Fried Tofu added texture but I think I may have been happier with a unfried firm tofu. Curry Fish Fillet - 3 - I thought that the flavor was fine. She thought that it needed more curry kick. We both thought that it was dryer than it should have been. We would have liked more curry sauce to soak into our rice. (note: this was not on the menu. Curry Chicken and Fish Fillet are both on the menu, so we simply asked for a substitution.) Tomato Beef - 3 - I starting making this dish at home this summer. The Tomatoes and sauce were sweet without being sugary sweet. Many restaurants make that mistake which renders the entire dish inedible. The Beef was tender. We probably should have asked them to fry a couple of eggs into the dish to round it out. Overall, there wasn't anything that we didn't like. It's just that nothing really stood out this time either. Could have been a different cook or perhaps our taste buds were off tonight. This one experience will not stop us from returning. Service was friendly. We received a 10% discount for paying cash. There isn't much in the way of ambience. I didn't go inside but did notice from outside that there were a couple of people who looked like they were sitting on boxes while eating their food. We've only ever gotten take out here and plan to continue to do so.

To go orders only . Paying cash receive 10% off . Accepts major CC payments . The restaurant isn't much on decorations , the front is used as a storage space lined with boxes. Have quite a selection for frozen dimsum to steam at home . I really like their green beans stir fry and spicy egg plant it's savory and delicious. Not a fan of the fried scallion pancakes, it was fried too hard / crispy for my taste . The rest of the dim sum I ordered were good, Hagao had a chewy bite , Shu mai is smaller then most places I've been to, taste isn't bad .

The staff told her we wouldn't be seated unless our entire party was present. About 4 people were late, but they still seated us. The restaurant kind of felt old and somewhat dirty. But hey, it was my dad's birthday. I wasn't paying for lunch. We occupied three tables and ordered from both the lunch and dim sum menus. I enjoyed dishes like shiu mai, pork buns, walnut shrimp, fried rice, fish, and fried noodles. The sesame balls were tasty, but the service was slow, and I had to follow up on our order. I didn't care for the bun with the hot dog or the other noodle dish. Later that day, my daughter mentioned she had found hair in a pork bun and that her cousin had eaten it. She also said every item he picked up had hair on it, which was disappointing. I didn't confirm this with my cousin, but it would have been helpful to have someone inform the staff. Fortunately, no one at our table found hair in their food, which was a relief. Overall, the food that I ate was fine, but I wouldn't make a special trip from San Jose to visit again...unless it's a fambam family treat.

I originally came to Fusion Delight because of the purple interior…read more Seriously. The giant lotus chandeliers, the deep violet lighting, the old-school banquet hall atmosphere - it immediately reminded me of the large Cantonese restaurants that used to define family dining in the Bay Area years ago. But after eating here during a packed weekend dinner service, I realized the real attraction is not the decor. It is the operational consistency. The dining room was completely full, with a long line of people still waiting outside. Under that kind of pressure, many large Chinese restaurants start losing control somewhere: fried dishes soften, stir-fries lose wok hei, food arrives unevenly, service becomes rushed. Fusion Delight somehow keeps the system together. And what impressed me even more was that the staff never became impatient. Even with the restaurant running at full capacity, the servers stayed friendly, patient, and organized. No chaos, no attitude - just steady service under pressure. That is not easy in a restaurant this size. The Mongolian beef was the first thing that stood out. Instead of thin slices hidden under sauce, the beef here is cut unusually thick and long - some pieces nearly two inches. Thick-cut beef is risky because once overcooked it immediately turns tough, but here the meat stayed tender while still carrying proper wok sear and caramelization. That tells me the kitchen understands heat control and timing. The crispy pork intestines were even more impressive. These were clearly braised first, then fried before the final stir-fry. The outside kept its gelatin-rich texture while the inside still carried fat and aroma, but without the unpleasant odor that ruins this dish at weaker restaurants. Even people who normally avoid intestine dishes could probably eat this version comfortably. That level of cleaning and pre-processing matters. The braised lamb with skin was another old-school banquet dish done correctly. The lamb was soft without collapsing, while the skin still retained structure. More importantly, the prep work was meticulous -- no gamey smell, no rough trimming, no shortcuts. The sea cucumber and pork tendon dish also showed strong banquet-kitchen fundamentals. The pork tendon had clearly been oil-expanded beforehand, giving it that proper soft and elastic texture instead of rubbery chewiness. The sea cucumber still retained bite and structure. The Singapore-style rice noodles and scallop egg white fried rice were textbook Cantonese banquet staples. The rice noodles stayed dry and separated while still carrying wok aroma and oil fragrance. The scallop egg white fried rice looked simple, but every grain remained distinct and lightly coated without clumping together. That level of consistency under volume is difficult. Even the red bean dessert soup at the end was handled carefully. The red beans still held their shape instead of dissolving into paste, while the sago remained fully intact and translucent. Most restaurants stop caring once dessert leaves the kitchen. Fusion Delight clearly does not. And honestly, that may be the best way to describe this restaurant overall. Fusion Delight is not trying to be trendy. It is not trying to become minimalist fine dining. It is not trying to be social-media bait. This is a high-volume Chinese banquet restaurant operating with old-school Cantonese production discipline. Hot food arrives hot. Fried dishes stay crisp. Wok hei survives peak hours. Plating still looks intentional during a packed dinner service. That kind of consistency is harder than people think. And somehow, inside a giant purple dining room filled wall-to-wall with families, they make it work. - Dr. C Purple room approved. Wok heat calibrated. Banquet discipline detected. Consistency at scale = correct.

However, within about an hour, the restaurant was almost full. Even though it wasn't the weekend, it was still very busy. There is also plenty of parking, which is a big plus. The restaurant is spacious, with beautiful purple lighting that really catches the eye. The high ceiling also makes the space feel very open and comfortable. Although this place doesn't have the highest ratings on Yelp, it's definitely still very popular and worth visiting.

This place offered large portion sizes as it's supposed to be shared family style with friends and family so my face was in aw when our food came out. The ambiance was great I can see people renting out the restaurant for parties which we will do in the future. Also several days in the week where there's a live band, music and karaoke. It's a great family friendly environment! Can't wait to come back with friends and family!!
