I originally came to Fusion Delight because of the purple interior. Seriously. The giant lotus chandeliers, the deep violet lighting, the old-school banquet hall atmosphere - it immediately reminded me of the large Cantonese restaurants that used to define family dining in the Bay Area years ago. But after eating here during a packed weekend dinner service, I realized the real attraction is not the decor. It is the operational consistency. The dining room was completely full, with a long line of people still waiting outside. Under that kind of pressure, many large Chinese restaurants start losing control somewhere: fried dishes soften, stir-fries lose wok hei, food arrives unevenly, service becomes rushed. Fusion Delight somehow keeps the system together. And what impressed me even more was that the staff never became impatient. Even with the restaurant running at full capacity, the servers stayed friendly, patient, and organized. No chaos, no attitude - just steady service under pressure. That is not easy in a restaurant this size. The Mongolian beef was the first thing that stood out. Instead of thin slices hidden under sauce, the beef here is cut unusually thick and long - some pieces nearly two inches. Thick-cut beef is risky because once overcooked it immediately turns tough, but here the meat stayed tender while still carrying proper wok sear and caramelization. That tells me the kitchen understands heat control and timing. The crispy pork intestines were even more impressive. These were clearly braised first, then fried before the final stir-fry. The outside kept its gelatin-rich texture while the inside still carried fat and aroma, but without the unpleasant odor that ruins this dish at weaker restaurants. Even people who normally avoid intestine dishes could probably eat this version comfortably. That level of cleaning and pre-processing matters. The braised lamb with skin was another old-school banquet dish done correctly. The lamb was soft without collapsing, while the skin still retained structure. More importantly, the prep work was meticulous -- no gamey smell, no rough trimming, no shortcuts. The sea cucumber and pork tendon dish also showed strong banquet-kitchen fundamentals. The pork tendon had clearly been oil-expanded beforehand, giving it that proper soft and elastic texture instead of rubbery chewiness. The sea cucumber still retained bite and structure. The Singapore-style rice noodles and scallop egg white fried rice were textbook Cantonese banquet staples. The rice noodles stayed dry and separated while still carrying wok aroma and oil fragrance. The scallop egg white fried rice looked simple, but every grain remained distinct and lightly coated without clumping together. That level of consistency under volume is difficult. Even the red bean dessert soup at the end was handled carefully. The red beans still held their shape instead of dissolving into paste, while the sago remained fully intact and translucent. Most restaurants stop caring once dessert leaves the kitchen. Fusion Delight clearly does not. And honestly, that may be the best way to describe this restaurant overall. Fusion Delight is not trying to be trendy. It is not trying to become minimalist fine dining. It is not trying to be social-media bait. This is a high-volume Chinese banquet restaurant operating with old-school Cantonese production discipline. Hot food arrives hot. Fried dishes stay crisp. Wok hei survives peak hours. Plating still looks intentional during a packed dinner service. That kind of consistency is harder than people think. Visited here with my friends on a Wednesday morning. The restaurant opens at 10:30 AM, and we arrived a bit early--there were already a few customers waiting outside. However, within about an hour, the restaurant was almost full. Even though it wasn't the weekend, it was still very busy. This is one of my favorite dim sum spots because the food is consistently delicious, especially the siu mai--it's a must-try! The service is fast and friendly, which makes the experience even better. There is also plenty of parking, which is a big plus. The restaurant is spacious, with beautiful purple lighting that really catches the eye. Wow they are so efficient for seating a line of 100 people (or more) at opening time on the weekend. I kid you not, this place has a lonnnnnnnnggggggg line. Am i going to get in? A friend invited us to Dim Sum at Fusion Delight. They open at 11am and we arrived at 10:40, way too early. We sat in the van and chatted for a bit until 5 minutes before scheduled opening. They were already open for guests, so we were able to enter as soon as we walked across the parking lot. As we entered, we were greeted and asked how many in our group and what type of tea would we like. There were 3 of us and we were guided to a table in the middle of the restaurant. There was an electronic ordering pad on the table, so we passed it around and selected some of our favorite dishes. We later saw other tables using paper ordering sheets which I think I would have preferred. What'd we order? Plenty! Pea Sprouts with Fungus - 3 - Not one of my favorites but it appeared to be okay. Rice Noodle Rolls in XO Sauce x 2 - 5 - Yes, we got two orders! Tons of flavor; tender noodles; great chew. Salt & Pepper Tofu - 3 - Good tofu; not so much salt nor pepper. Pan Fried Country Style Lotus Root with Minced Fish - 3 - first time that I've had Lotus Root "sandwiches" Rice Noodle Roll (Beef) - 4 - If the sweet soy had been sweeter, it could have been a 5. Chicken Feet with Black Bean Sauce - 3 - met but did not exceed the standard and I am a Chicken Feet FREAK! Pork Dumpling with Peanuts - 4 - Was Decent Dried Scallop & Pea Sprout Dumplings - 3 - There's Dried Scallop in here? But luckily the mall lot is big so you might just have to walk a bit. The wait is the most challenging thing here. Weekends are near impossible. Even week day lunches are tough. And you gotta book them way out for Chinese new year! Food is always very good and service is very efficient. The sea bass is a must here, I also like all their noodle dishes. Such a yummy time! The staff is quite attentive. Our empty dishes were taken away almost instantly and your hot water pot was never empty for long. Our party of 5 was able to snag a tallness at opening and place our order in early. Everything came out hot and delicious. My favorites being the shrimp dumplings. The filling is quite large and the dumpling skin is quite sturdy. You're able to grab one without it falling out or ripping. The wrapped is also isn't over rubbery, it was a happy surprise to find a yummy texture! Another hit was the cha sui gok, flaky pastry dough with a savory bbq pork filling. My family and I hadn't had this place since 2017. Since then, they have undergone a huge remodel and the place is far brighter and their menus are upgraded. Meanwhile, it was my partner and his family's first time trying this restaurant. Service was quite rough for a Monday dinner. The restaurant was 1/3rd filled but they took a while to check in with us and take our orders. It was tough to get the attention of a server and after someone helped us, he called for someone else. When the second person came, I told her I was ready to order and then there was another wait for the third person who would finally take our order. I had already written out the 6 dishes we were planning to order for the group and they seemed to be missing several veggies, so all the meat dishes seemed to only be cooked with string beans as that was all they had. That eliminated 3 of the dishes I wanted to order. Pea sprouts 5/5, perfectly stir fried. The space is beautiful inside - probably the nicest Chinese restaurant I've seen in the bay. Lots of seating inside too but I heard there's always a wait on weekends. If you don't want to wait, come here during a weekday lunch. For us 3 girls we got a seat at the table immediately near the front, a little before noon time on a random weekday. Came back another year and it's still the same quality, yet always a long wait during lunchtime especially on weekdays. It's so busy you have to get a number and wait until your number is called. The hosts are communicative with servers on which tea to serve for each table once we're seated. We ordered Siu Mai, Beef Balls, Pork and Peanuts Dumpling, Pumpkin Sponge Cake, Fried Shrimp Dumplings (Spicy), and Pan-fried rice noodle w/ beef and bitter melon. The sponge cake had less pumpkin filling, so it was meh. The rice noodle was the most delicious one, yet oily. Fried shrimp dumplings took longer to arrive, yet were moderately spicy due to the spices. I started sweating after one bite while my mom ate like nothing happened lol. When I went home with the leftovers, my habit of checking the filling inside the fried dumpling was a blessing because I found a silver metal strand (approximately 1 cm long) inside the shrimp. Too bad I didn't take a picture. It would've been dangerous for elderly people and children to consume. So please check your food before eating. There are a lot of smokers outside that you can smell through the entrance every time the door is opened. They should be called the Chainsmokers Area. Also, expect to hear loud conversations in Cantonese, so not good for first dates, but good for weddings and family gatherings. Walk in and it's a bustling mini chinatown, full of Chinese peeps - which is a great thing for a dim sum restaurant. That means it must be good. We get sat down in this huge expanse of a dining hall. Order up through an ipad. How bay area. Of course we get all the classics. One by one, I take some bites and man. They're just amazing morsels of dim sum good ness. The classic bbq pork bun is my baseline. And it was fresh and filled with pork. The bread itself was nice, although it might have been oversteamed because some of it had become like a pull apart bread. The shu mai was huge and plump. And tasted equally excellent. I had many others and they were all lovely. The sweet egg buns were amazing, some of the best i've had. The miss was this deep fried flying pancake. After running into the Pearl Bay renovation closure, we drove over to Fusion Delight and made it just before they opened. There was a small line but were quickly seated. Beware of Tip scam! Check your receipt carefully. They often charge to tips already and still print the receipt with empty slot for more tips. They also add the recommended tip calculation under it that is percentage of the total plus added tips and tax! I almost got fooled into paying 40% tips total! I was lucky enough to be brought here to test out Fusion Delight's dim sum.. Here, you will find the typical & very traditional dim sum without the rolling carts and ladies shouting out "Har Gow!!" "Siu Mai!!!" Orders were made via paper menu and the dishes steadily came rolling in. I would classify the whole ambiance and feel of Fusion Delight as upscale, fancy. With that said, I will agree with the many reviews regarding the super loud environment that would easily get to sensitive patrons. Forks clanking against plates, multiple conversations going on- all consisting of yelling, & combining that with shouting out requests to the staff. Whew, you almost feel like you leave here a little deaf. Lmao! Food is amazing and the presentation is nice. My favorite things to order [simply for the beautiful photos] are the piggy steamed baos, the swan fried durian puffs, & the duck/bunny puddings. 4 stars! My family of 6 came here last Sunday morning. The first weekend of CNY. Wow was it packed! We arrived at 9:50am. Opening is at 10am and there was a HUGE line out the door. As I was walking up, a gentleman was running to get in line. A female from the left saw him running so she started running too. I was afraid we were not going to get seated during the first round, but we did! The restaurant is very big! They have a second room to the right with not as nice decor as the main room, but that is okay. The entire restaurant was became fully packed with hungry asians and there were still people outside waiting. For how busy it was, service was great!! We marked what we wanted and gave the order slip to a waiter. We got tea quickly. I saw them refilling our tea several times. We NEVER had to ask. We were SHOCKED with how quickly the food came out. The chefs must have came super early and they were well prepared with the mad rush of people. The food was nice and hot and fresh. Did not miss out on the quality on majority of the items. I really enjoyed the black peppers spare ribs (not a usual item at dimsum places). Of course I liked my rice noodles with beef and shrimp, shrimp dumplings, pork dumplings, chicken feet. We ordered two different cow intestines and they had a really nice presentation with the Ying and Yang dishes. My brother said the taste of one of them was only okay though. Pricing of the dishes were a bit more expensive than usual dimsum places. This was my first time eating here, but I would definitely come back. We arrived at the tail-end of the brunch hour and left feeling very full. 3.5/5 for value of dine-in dim sum in the area. Food (3/5). Food came out quickly, but we found ourselves asking for basic items that should have otherwise been provided with each dish or already at the table (standard at other dim sum restaurants, big or small). The taro cake arrived without sauce, and no spoons were provided for the fried rice nor the xiao long bao. It was likely a busy morning, but the staff member who serviced us the most seemed to ignore us a couple times before someone else would assist. Otherwise, it's a large establishment that can accommodate large parties easily. They do not take reservations for parties fewer than 8. Seems like the wait times can get long, as I called in and was told to expect a 50-minute wait around 1PM on a Saturday only to find out that we were the next party to be seated within 10 minutes upon arrival. If you come here on a weekend for lunch, be prepared to wait a while! The dim sum at lunch and the plates at dinner are all good. I don't think I've had a dish I don't like here. More recently, I went here for dinner and the beef short rib is a giant rib with a delicious sauce. It's pricey but delicious! The double egg fried rice is one of my fave dishes here. It has salted fish and it's so good. The restaurant's homemade chili sauce (they sell it in jars labeled as XO sauce) mixed with the fried rice is so good. Their homemade sauce has a little bit of fermented bean flavor which makes it unique and the spice level is not too hot. Service is very quick. read more

We reserved two tables and ordered from their party menu on Christmas Eve and everything was set up by the time we got there. Service was nice, they poured our soup for us, cleared out dirty plates frequently and brought out drinks and entrees in a timely fashion. They would also move the big plates of food into smaller plates to fit new entrees onto our table. The food was also tasty but nothing too special or to die for, my favorite dish was the sashimi platter - I definitely ate the salmon the most as it felt very fresh. One of the very few Chinese restaurants in the area that has excellent service and food. Based on the lines and crowds each weekend, I'm not the only one that thinks this way. This restaurant has the feel of the larger banquet style Chinese restaurants and there's a lot of 8-10 round tables. There's some smaller tables but it seems like most people who come, come in large groups. I do recommend trying this restaurant if you're in the area -- they're pretty affordable (both for dim sum and dinner) and portions are decent. read more
