My family and I visited this restaurant on a Friday evening around 6PM and found parking easily although a bit tight. When you initially walk up to the restaurant, the windows are covered so you can't see inside that well. When you walk in, the place is lit moderately and the decor reminds me of the 2000s. There were about 3 other groups in here(and one of the customers, caucasion man stared at us weirdly. Not sure why!). We were seated quickly and the lady who served us understood Cantonese. We ordered 3 dishes and 1 fried rice for 4 people. We found the price to be quite fair($10.95 for the salted fish fried rice), and portions to be fair. The service was good, but with how empty the place was, that's not surprising. For 4 people, we spent about $50 including tips. We thought the food was good and fresh and would come back again!

Won Wonton Soup

I have not been in this place for years and decided to try it. The won ton soup was terrible, they were too hard and tasteless. The soup was so plain and the bok Choy were ok. The Hong Kong style pan fried noodles was covered with salty gravy, a little deep fried noodles. The price was low. You get what you paid for.

The food was good. The customer service was slow but on point. The restaurant itself was clean. The prices are good. I'll be back again.

Beef and Tendon Stew in a Claypot, Peking Spareribs

Neighborhood Cantonese restaurant situated in a little strip mall. A small restaurant which has a lot of take-out orders but sufficient number of spread out tables to suit your party of 1 to many. Serves comfort Cantonese food like Dry Beef Chow Fun, Diced Chicken and Salted Fish Fried Rice, Peking Spareribs, Beef Stew with Tendons in a Clay Pot, etc... We had the three item (pick from a two sided menu - you might need to ask for the menu) meal for $31 which is your choice of items along with a bowl of house soup (diced pieces of protein, bones, and veggie clear soup). We picked: - Fried Fish Filets and Fried Tofu in a Claypot - Peking Spareribs - Beef Stew & Tendon in a Clay Pot All three dishes were tasty and met our expectations. Decent portions and our table of three men finished all except for the Beef Stew which I took home. The items came out in the order listed. Rice is extra on the $31 menu and since we were carb watching, we asked for only two bowls which were more than enough. Like any restaurant, there's a larger profit margin on rice similar to drinks and fries at a fast food restaurant. Definitely will go back to try other items.

Pan Fried Flounder

My friend highly recommends this restaurant's three items combo to me, so I tried it the first time. I picked the following items Pan Fried Flounder Beef Stew Salted Fish Chicken Rice All of them are delicious! The combo comes with complimentary soup for $28, very affordable in nowadays economy. Highly recommend.

Introduced to this restaurant by golfer for our 19th hole. Good Cantonese food. They have special 3 item menu so we ordered 6 items from special menu. Every dish was very good. No MSG so really liked the what we ordered. We also ordered 2 orders of the Fried Won Ton Soup. Service was very good and waitress was very friendly. It was after the lunch hour and so it was not real crowded. Great new place for us to eat after a round of golf.

Kung pao chicken (8.50, lg portion lunch) bland, no spicy, all soy sauce!

It is one of the best korean-chinese restaurants. My wife 's favorite menu is spicy squid.

We started with the oven roasted artichoke and crab dip. Comes with thin slices of toasted bread. I took one bite and closed my eyes... off to flavor paradise. So so so good! My wife had the shrimp and crab fettuccine. She is VERY picky about her pasta but the sound she made after her first bite "mmm mmm hmmm" I knew there was not going to be any for me to pick at later. She loved it. The fisherman platter is what I ordered. Everything on this plate, the fish, the shrimp, the scallops all done to perfection! Maybe.. the best scallops I have ever had! No... for real! The view with the planes landing and the water, the wonderful staff, the low noise level, made this a perfect dining experience. Plenty of parking.

I had the pork chop entree and it was delicious. Our server Kayla was fantastic. To be fair, the visit did have a couple flaws. My wife's steak was overcooked and the soda came in super small glasses which resulted in lots of refills. Overall, I was very happy with the dinner experience and I'm sure I'll be back soon.

Basa Seafood Express is a no frills spot that took over Dell's Cafe on Castro Valley Blvd. Offering poke, sashimi, rolls, some fried items and clam chowder. Order at the counter and a buzzer given to alert you when ready. I happened to order online and the estimate was about 30 mins but got there in 15 mins and waited. Be sure check in at the counter as your order may be ready sooner than estimated. :: SOFT-SHELLED CRAB BURGER - coated in panko and fried. Light (not greasy) crunchy crab with simple mayo, slices of red onion, tomato and spring mix on a sesame bun! 4/5 stars - I made a garlic/lemon aioli to add to my sandwich and yum! :: CLAM CHOWDER - thicker than ones I've had, tad sweet and can taste the cream. Clams present with chunks of potatoes. This was decent 3.25/5 Service pleasant and no nonsense. I'd return for the soft-shelled crab burger and clam chowder and make small mods at home. 4 tables for dine-in but most orders were for take out. Private lot parking.

One thing I did not appreciate is that they asked me to write a Yelp review BEFORE I even ordered in exchange for 10% off! I told them no.
