    Haven't been here in awhile.

The quality is always good. I purchased three items and have enjoyed all of them! Bring on crab season!

Local Salmon Steaks - thinner than what I'm used to but that just makes them quicker to cook.

Solid little fish market that serves up local and sustainable seafood. Since I'm trying to lean into a more pescatarian fashion of eating, this was a nice score. They don't have a huge a selection, but in what they do have, nothing disappoints. I usually only see less than 10 offerings, but they are all super local, petrale sole, rock cod, Dungeness meat and my personal fave King Salmon. Not really cheap but not Whole Foods pricing either. So again, a nice fit for me. My finds: +No chaotic lines/queues like the big Asian grocery stores. +Never been disappointed in quality here. Been burned several times with fish from 99 Ranch that I eventually had to toss. +Get as much or as little as you want. Not like Costco where you have to get a monster pack. +Friendly staff that never sneakily upsales/oversells, like the greasy fish markets in Half Moon Bay. (*cough cough Half Moon Bay Fish Market*) +Always packs my goods with a little crushed ice for my travel. The store is a little hard to spot though. It's in an old part of San Leandro where the signs for the older buildings don't really stand out from the street. But once in I always leave with product I can trust, and I always feel better for supporting a local business.

I've actually never been to a fish market before. My husband found this spot and few months back and told me to come here to buy seafood. I usually just buy fish from like Costco, Asian food markets or Whole Foods which is ridiculously expensive. So I decided to finally listen to my husband lol and came here. The prices here were very reasonable, everything looked soo fresh. Surprisingly it being a fish market it did not smell fishy at all. As opposed to like the Asian food markets. I could never stand the smell. Even being a little kid and going there with my mom. The lady that helped was very nice and helpful. She was very informative. She also was telling me what kind of fishes they have for each season. So I ended up buying 2 lbs of salmon, 2 lbs of halibut, and 1 lb of rock fish. I cooked the halibut for dinner and it came out just right. It was so delicious! I have yet to try the salmon and rockfish. I would def go back. From now on this is my go to spot for any seafood!

Great, efficient and friendly customer service and delivery! Will be coming back for more!!!

Freshly cooked Dungeness Crab! $8.95 per pound.

This is the place to go for responsibly caught and sustainable seafood in San Leandro. The price is right too. It's not going to cost you an arm and a leg to get local, wild caught fish, especially salmon. Sometimes I get salmon bellies, which is only $10 a pound. Where else can you buy salmon bellies in San Leandro? They also sell the collar, head and other parts of the salmon at great prices. Sometimes, I get salmon steaks which are about a half inch thick and $18.99 a pound. Perfect for a fast, weeknight dinner! I've also gotten cooked Dungeness Crab here. I like that they don't oversalt the crab when they're cooking. They also have shrimp, scallops, clams, and filets of white fish like Petrale Sole and Cod. The store's location is also convenient for me since it's a few minutes drive from Bay Fair Bart. I take Bart most days from Bay Fair, so I can easily stop by here on my home and grab my seafood. So, if you're in search of wild caught seafood with reasonable prices in San Leandro, Marina Fish is the place to go! The seafood is fresh and service is always with a smile!

Their fresh Sea Bass! Amazing quality & you truly taste the freshness. Stop by the store or one of their many farmer's market locations.

Their fish is superb, but selection is extremely limited. And bring cash unless you want to pay a surcharge for using a credit card.

How much is the live crab per pound?

They don't offer live crab that I know of. They cook them and will clean for free after they are weighed. The 3 I got were very large with a total weight of 8.3 pounds which if I remember correctly was about $9/lb.

Stopped by on a Monday evening after dinner. The store wasn't too busy this day and we remembered to take our grocery bags. Upon entering, the store was clean and well stocked. The entrance takes you through the produce sections. The veggies were standard veggies like bok choy, cabbages, root veggies etc. There were some things I was looking for that didn't have labels, just "general produce." No biggie, I know how to use my phone to scan images. The produce section also has a freezer section with frozen dumplings, buns, and other stuff. The selection was amazing. The meat department had plenty of options from poultry to beef to seafood. They also had frozen meat and poultry in ice chests. I did come for loose leaf teas and found just what I needed. Everything is really great quality and they have different jujube options. I also loved their frozen ice cream and sweets. We got the viral ice creams to try and they also had tanghulu but only the hawthorn ones. We get to the register and the cashiers were really nice. Overall the experience is great!

I remembered a place on Jackson Street that I had gone to 5 years ago that had a tremendous selection - looked it up on Yelp and it was no longer on Jackson, but was listed in Castro Valley. So we went thought we'd go by and give it a try. Great decision! The "new" store in Castro Valley is much brighter, cleaner, nicer than the old location. I think the old location had more stuff from Eastern Europe, but this new location seems to have a broader selection, with more stuff from Western Europe and the Middle East. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and helpful - always willing to answer questions and even give tips on how to use the products that they sell. And his recommendations have been great - we asked him about which tahini and zaatar to get (they have many different brands/types of each...) and the ones he recommended have been way tastier than any of the brands that you find in most markets. Especially good was his recommendation on lebnah - he said that the brands they carry are all good, but they have some that they package in-house that was special. I tried it - it was less expensive than the other brands, but was the very best lebnah that I have ever tasted! Richer, creamier, with just the right amount of tang. Wonderful stuff! Anyway, Crossroads is a nice, clean, well-lit place with a great selection of unique products, and friendly, knowledgeable sales staff. Well worth a trip!

The parking lot is not full and there's a lot of space. There are approximately 3 veggies stands, 2 fruits stands, hummus stand, 2 bread stand, meat/fish stand, cheesecake stand, flower stand, and a few food stands. I've found that while this farmers market is small, it usually has what you need. I do find that the produce can be quite pricey! I primarily choose to visit, due to the exceptionally sweet fruit. I rarely find oranges, Asian pears, and apples as sweet. So when I feel like dishing out a few extra bucks for some delicious fruit, I'll treat myself. With that said, holy gosh are the prices expensive! $5/lb for Asian pairs and other citrus fruits. $2.50/lb for napa cabbage(that is usually $.69/lb at the grocery store. Yeah, I get that it's a farmer's market, however, it's no longer what it used to be. We used to solely buy produce at farmers markets, now it's not possible unless you're making a solid income to afford $5/lb oranges. Overall, clean and tidy farmers markets!
