Been here plenty of times and is my favorite Filipino market closest to me. I will drive the 25…read moreminutes to get there. It's not as large as their other locations, but as long as they have what I need..I'm a happy camper. Every staff member I've come across were/are always friendly and assisting. I haven't gone here once without staff in the aisles replenishing stock. And they're always available to assist. The workers at the meat/seafood section always make sure everyone has been helped. And all my freshly fried fish has always been good. The cashiers can be limited but are efficient. Lines move pretty quickly. They always greet and are very helpful. I just wished they had a location in the San Ramon/Pleasanton/Dublin area. Then I wouldn't have to deal with my car having a fried fish airing for 25mins til I get home. Hint..hint..

My go-to Filipino market. Mostly because of convenience, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm…read morehere so often. Whenever I need some Asian ingredients, Filipino meats (longanisa, tocino, hot dogs, etc), or if I'm just craving some fresh pan de sal, I'll head over to Island Pacific. It's located in the plaza with target so there's always tons of parking. They even have some charging stations for electric cars on their side of the plaza (tesla chargers are on the opposite side). Inside, you can find pretty much anything you need for a good Filipino meal. You've got the bakery up front making fresh baked goods. Then there's the hot and ready take out food restaurant (also does catering). And of course, the market with a recent produce section and the meat/fish counter. Protip: if you want a cheaper fried fish, choose one from the fish area and ask them to fry it for you. It's cheaper than buying the fried fish at the restaurant. It does get quite packed on the weekends and there aren't a lot of registers so if you come during a busy time, prepare to wait a bit. Sign up for their rewards to get discounts!

I love Asian markets, the produce is always low priced and the variety is much wider. Decided to…read moretry Mei Mei after all the insta ads. I guess you could say I was "influenced." Stopped by on a Monday evening after dinner. The store wasn't too busy this day and we remembered to take our grocery bags. Upon entering, the store was clean and well stocked. The entrance takes you through the produce sections. The veggies were standard veggies like bok choy, cabbages, root veggies etc. There were some things I was looking for that didn't have labels, just "general produce." No biggie, I know how to use my phone to scan images. The produce section also has a freezer section with frozen dumplings, buns, and other stuff. The selection was amazing. The meat department had plenty of options from poultry to beef to seafood. They also had frozen meat and poultry in ice chests. I did come for loose leaf teas and found just what I needed. Everything is really great quality and they have different jujube options. I also loved their frozen ice cream and sweets. We got the viral ice creams to try and they also had tanghulu but only the hawthorn ones. We get to the register and the cashiers were really nice. Overall the experience is great!

This Asian supermarket is a gem. It looked clean and very well organized, making shopping easy and…read moreenjoyable. The variety is impressive--they offer a huge selection of fresh Asian produce along with a wide range of authentic products you don't always find elsewhere. I was absolutely blown away from the different variety of tofu they carry, and also so many different noodles. For me it's a trip (since I live in the bay area), but absolutely worth it!
