Ordered a veggie sandwich but saw this heart shaped pastry with strawberry and cream dusted in powder sugar so I had to get it. The tarty sweet strawberries with the generous cream was the sweet treat I needed. Service was quick, food was ready within 5-7 min. PLEASE come support this small business. Prices are literally unbelievable and they have a pretty large menu. Croissant sandwiches.. french roll sandwiches.. donuts.. boba drinks.. chips.. ICE CREAM? My partner and I stopped by for the first time since we're new to the area. We got 3 sandwiches, a dozen donut holes, and a bag of chips for 25 bucks. We also went during an extreme rush hour (1pm for whatever reason) as it seemed like the high school across the street just got out of class.. or was on lunch since I saw a bunch of them walking back to the school... so it was PACKED!! They must make a huge profit off this HA! Definitely worth the money and the staff was so friendly. Forget the fancy 20 dollar deli sandwich spots........ this was enough to satisfy our cravings........... I don't even care that it was a little dirty and outdated on the inside, TAKE MY MONEY THANK YOU! read more

Quick review for two reasons. 1) Last time I was there they mere cleaning up from some vandalism, but still open, still trying to be positive. Maybe head over and show them some love! 2) Great service! I was on a call and in a rush, picking up donuts for work. So I just said to throw whatever random donuts in a box, while I was on the phone. I've done this before elsewhere, and you usually get all the lame donuts, she gave us a great selection, including custard filled, jelly filled, and an apple fritter. Much appreciated. Always a good experience when I come here. I'm a very indecisive person but the workers are always super patient and kind. Donuts are delicious and fresh. Pricing is very reasonable. Sometimes if they have a little left over they'll even give you a couple free donut holes :) Place is clustered but clean and has a small table inside sometimes if you want to enjoy your coffee and donuts inside. read more

Legit boba place. One of my ultimate forever favorite places to get boba! I did wonder why I never left a review while my butt keeps coming back here! But here I am. I've seen how this place struggled while pandemic was happening. Whenever I pass by I keep looking at that "Open" sign if it's on that's how I would know if they are open. There was a time that they were closed for how many days probably months. They have been through it all! I am just glad this place still exist! Boba drink is always made with love very refreshing make sure to tell them what's your sugar level! DO NOT FORGET TO LEAVE A CASH TIP :) Bagels, Croissants, Donuts are always fresh! My most favorite is bagel sausage and cheese! it used to be $3.50 however after pandemic prices went up which understandable. One of my go-to breakfast spots whenever I want something quick and yummy. The owner and their family are really nice and accommodating. It's located in a small parking lot so parking is easy. I usually get one of their breakfast sandwiches and sometimes their drinks. I love getting their hot link sandwich with cream cheese, cheese, lettuce, and jalapenos. It is such a comforting meal to start off your day. A very home-cook/family type of environment/meal. I definitely recommend trying this spot and supporting this family business! read more

If you want awesome feel good food, this is the place. I've had nearly everything on their menu since my younger years and they are all bomb. I've never ordered anything that I didn't like from here. I've been coming here for almost 20 years as I attended HS right across the street. They were always friendly to us rowdy HS kids and as an adult I continue to try and support their business often. Very friendly, always recognizes me, and has the BEST ham & cheese croissant. I have not found a better one! There sandwiches are very good abd affordable. I went to Lee's Donuts across from San Lorenzo High School today after reading bad reviews about Lee's Sandwiches on Amador St. in Hayward. I was turned off by all the bad reviews and pictures of Lee's Sandwiches. All I really wanted was a Vietnamese iced coffee. At Lee's Donuts, I was the only customer in the store. I asked the man behind the counter for a large Vietnamese iced coffee. He asked if I wanted a breakfast sandwich also. I said sure, I'll take a sausage croissant breakfast sandwich. He asked me if I wanted bacon on it. I said no. He told the lady in their language that I wanted a breakfast sandwich because she started making it right away. He asked again if I wanted bacon. I still replied no. While he made my coffee he asked a 3rd time if I wanted bacon on my sandwich, he said it's only a dollar more. I said sure, why not? After paying for my food and drink, I drove away to run some errands. I was about 15 minutes away on the freeway when I opened my sandwich. It was flat like someone had stepped on it. I guess that's how they make their sandwiches, almost like they use a panini maker. Anyway I bite into the sandwich and guess what?...no bacon ....are you serious man? You bother me the whole time I'm there about bacon and you didn't even make sure the lady put it in my sandwich. Next time I'll check before I leave....if there is a next time. I just happened to be in the area but I won't go out of my way for the food or coffee. read more

In the vast culinary wasteland that is San Lorenzo, lunchtime options are limited. I have been working across the street from Lee Donuts for almost 8 years now, and there's not too much to report -- donuts, coffee, sandwiches, drinks. The usual. Two things do stand out, though: 1) The owners and staff are soooooooper friendly and patient. When 99% of your clientele are high school students cutting class or trying to grab lunch in a hurry, I guess you either become bitter and Soup Nazi-ish, or you just go with the flow. These folks are mellow and kind, no matter how much cussing they hear, how many messes they clean up, how many fights break out in front of their shop, and how many rude kids make fun of their accents. My favorite lady is the one who makes my sandwiches -- she always remembers, "No meat, no onions," and cuts me a discount. 2) They have created an insane concoction of Hot Cheetos and melted nacho cheese that looks crazy...in a good way. I've avoided it so far, but I'm sure one of these days I'll cave in and get spotted pigging out by one of my salad-eating colleagues. read more

I can honestly say that this is the only place where i don't complain about DRY turkey meat (sorry JD's but you failed me for once). This place is great if you're a San Lorenzo High student. The staff that works there is a family, I'm pretty sure. They're really patient and tolerant with the rude students that go there during school, and have really quick service. Even though I could be going to other places for lunch, the reasons I go here are: 1. The sandwiches! The lady that usually makes them stuffs them with meat. My favorites are roast beef, chicken salad, and salami+turkey. She usually puts jalapenos in them, so just remember to ask her to leave em out if you don't like it. For 3.50$, it beats going to Quiznos down the street. 2. Ham & Cheese croissants! Although they're kind of oily, they're really good. (2.25$) 3. Their thai tea! Along with the many other drinks they offer, its really good if you get the guy with the glasses to make it. 4. They offer Nachos, but the way they make it is with your choice of chips and nacho cheese. I like the Hot Cheetos with cheese, or cheesy ruffles with cheese. (2.65$) Overall, this is a great place, though usually overlooked because of its 'ghetto' location. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because of the maintenance, some of the stuff looks really old (not the food), like the chairs and such. I come here everyday after practice. I love getting a croissant with egg, cheese , ham and bacon which I would really recommend to get. My favorite milkshakes are the mango and oreo cookie ones.
