I ordered today and the delivery driver took it to the wrong location and couldn't get a hold of them. I attempted to contact the store, first they claim that my order wasn't picked up yet, then claimed that they never received an order. I have an email, to this location, for this date, listed as Order # 29818827778801665. With no attempt to resend it or refund me I can't recommend this place anymore. read more

I came to a burger place and ordered a hot dog. We actually ordered four hot dogs, and after waltzing up to the counter to place our order (no line), we then waited 20 minutes for our food. Call me high maintenance, but I don't think a 20-minute wait is reasonable for the type of order that we had at a fast/medium-casual type place. I don't know what I was expecting, but there's no finesse to their overpriced hot dogs. It was a salty hot dog, and they didn't even get the order right. I ordered ketchup, relish, onions, and pickles for my fixings, but the lady at the register missed one (the pickles didn't show up on the receipt). Then, when we picked up our orders, for the one that did have pickles listed, there were none. We took it back to the counter and they placed three measly half pickle slices (in other words, 1.5 pickle slices) on top. That doesn't inspire much confidence. Sure, they were generous with the ketchup and relish (too much so) - but like I said, no finesse. BurgerFi.....has done it again! This place is my "go-to" spot for a good burger and quick service when in Silver Spring. I am happy to report and update my review to 5 Stars! I am updating my review with an extra (+1) star, for the mere fact of consistency. The service continues to be top-notch and the food....has been consistently.....AWESOME!! In my famous Yelp words....BurgerFi is certified...."Hittin' N Stickin'!" I normally order my favorite....the "Breakfast All Day Burger"...but this time around I decided to try the "BurgerFi Cheeseburger!" It did not disappoint. It was juicy, hot, oozing with cheese and cooked to perfection. I could not ask for a more "flawless" burger which arrived with your standard toppings: lettuce, tomato and American cheese plus their "BurgerFi sauce." The burger stacked with really fresh toppings; along with the a perfectly toasted grilled bun...took me there! Nirvana!!...Happy...happy! Joy...joy! I was definitely was ready to tap out. To be honest, it sorta was on par and reminded me with that of the standard In-n-Out burger....and that says a lot because I love a good ol' hot In-n-Out Burger. Not terribly busy on a weeknight, the BurgerFi is located right next to the street level lobby of the Courtyard Hotel. Therefore, easy to find with a number of tables outside and inside. A friendly counter person helped me as I was not familiar with their menu. I went easy and chose the "BurgerFi Cheeseburger" which arrived with lettuce, tomato and American cheese plus some "BurgerFi sauce." It quite nicely cooked and held together well. It tasted very similar to the West Coast "In-N-Out" product. Yes, I know: That's heresy. I also chose to have an order of onion rings. These turned out to be massive - each a slice close to an inch thick in a good batter. When hot, they were great. As they cooled to room temperature, not so great. They have a good selection of locally brewed bottled beers and there is a Coke Freestyle machine. read more

Stopped by for a burger a couple days ago at lunchtime. The food took some time to be served , the waiter apologized. Considering the time it took for the service , one would think that the food would be hot, fresh and high quality. My burger was ICE cold, and very dry. I have never eaten such an atrocious burger in my 50 years. Never will I return go this establishment. Absolutely horrible . McDonald's has higher quality and proper temp burgers in comparison, that is saying something. Avoid at all costs ! read more

Today I tried the Beyond Burger which is made from plants, no meat. However, I could not distinguish this burger from a burger made from beef or bison. You can make adjustments any way you want to, I got a multigrain bun as opposed to the regular potato bun, and got white Cheddar instead of American cheese. I only wish I had added mushrooms. Maybe next time. I also got a side of fries, which of course I finished before I made it back to Interstate 495, and I never dipped one fry into the organic Heinz ketchup I pumped. I hope BurgerFi will consider sweet potato fries, would have made a great combination. But all in all I had a great meal, please open more stores in the DMV! read more

One of my favorite burger places in Silver Spring is Burger Fi! I loved the variety of burgers and there burger sauce. I also loved their "cry and fry" which is a combination of deep fried onion rings and fries. I loved the batter on these rings! This is a great place to go to after a good movie in the area. The only problem I had was some of the customers were a bit rowdy. Which appeared to be one of the staff family or friends. I have no problem with that but need to keep it down where other customers start to notice. 4 stars for the food but 2 stars for the management to keep the noise down. read more

Yum! We stopped in here over the weekend for a late night bite. I went with a basic burger - a single with cheese and a bunch of normal toppings like lettuce and tomato. I also got a large onion ring for three of us to share. While we were all waiting for our meals, my gloated that we had evidently gotten the last order of onion rings, and I was a little sad for the guy behind us and simultaneously wondered how the heck you could run out. Did they run out of onions?? Well, anyways, my buzzer buzzes, I look up to get my food, and staring at me from across the room is a glorious tower of massive, gargantuan onion rings! Seriously, these suckers were the diameter of a small planetoid! Next to them, my single burger looked teeny-weeny. So enough about the looks...everything tasted great! Got to location at 10:50pm on a Saturday and the doors were locked even though the website and door read that they closed at 12:00am. I called the location's phone number to try to figure out why they were closed an hour earlier than advertised and I was told that their winter hours were 11pm. I counted at least 8 individuals still inside eating. I asked the girl why the doors were locked even though it wasn't even 11 yet. She didn't have an answer. This is the second time in a row that I've had a negative experience with the Silver Spring staff. The first time they got my order wrong and weren't interesting in fixing it. I came cause i had read about a 'secret menu' mimicking in n out's animal style fries. I saw they had an option called urban style, which also sounded good, but i asked about this secret menu item. When we walked in we were pleasantly surprised to encounter witty and gorgeous Amber. She acted like closing time was not an issue and sweetly and kindly took care of us. Love the menu and the different style of burgers that are available and made to order. The fries with garlic Parmesan toppings can feed two adults. At some times the standing room only get be frustrating when your seated at a table and someone's bumm is in your face. Another nuisance is they can loose the paper straws which add a dry after taste to the fountain drinks. read more

Sadly I've come here more times than I'd like to admit. Each time thinking they might get their stuff together. They have decent burgers but every time I've had issues with the order. Either things being incorrect or for delivery/take out missing things. Including when you not only don't select cheese on your burger but also put in the notes no cheese. Then get 2 slices of cheese. On top of it if you try to call to say they have awful service the store manager gets combative with you. I went through the effort of even talking to their corporate office after giving feedback on Twitter on an especially bad experience where they remade an order and still didn't make it right. The corporate office promised to send a gift certificate for my time and trouble. Never received it. Hadn't ordered in a year but my family wanted burgers. Tried again....with uber eats order they missed a Fry in the delivery this time when my wife wanted that the most. Ironically the receipt even has it crossed off. Just stay away. read more
