I stopped by America's Best Wings because it was pretty close to another business that I was visiting. For my late lunch, I went with a grilled fish sandwich combo, which came with fries and a soda. Overall, I thought my meal was good and decently priced. I think my combo was about $13-15. While it was not the best fish sandwich that I had, I thought it was fine for fast-food type of environment. If I were to do it again, I probably would have gone with fried instead of grill fish. The sandwich was pretty large and came with a generous amount of french fries. Since they make the food to order, there was a little wait of about 15 minutes. However, that was not a problem because the food came out fresh and hot. The two guys at the front counter were pretty friendly, so I have no complaints about service. Although this appears to be more of a take-out establishment, America's Best Wings has a 3-4 small tables. But, most folks (at least during my visit) use those tables to wait for their food. Fortunately for me, there were not too many people waiting for their food, so I could grab a table to eat inside of the restaurant. While I probably would not venture to far to grab something to eat from this America's Best Wings, it is a great option if you are in the area. read more

The gentleman at the counter taking orders was rude, impatient, and acted as though we were a bother. I have NEVER been to this place so naturally I need a little time to check out the flavors for the wings. There were different flavors than we have in my home state. I opted for lemon pepper and BBQ. While waiting on my order, the atmosphere was quiet, there was only one other person inside besides us. The wings were actually pretty good, but I'm big on customer service so stars were taken away. The wings here are absolutely delicious. I probably come here at least once a week...no kidding! For years I saw this place and for some reason I thought it was a shoe store lol. I noticed through swarm (Foursquare) that some folks were checking into this place like everyday I'm like this must be a really popular spot! After my first visit I've been hooked. I've even ordered wings from here to take to game nights, parties, etc...and I've definitely put a lot of people on to this place. I can sometimes get busy so it's best to order your wings ahead in advance and give yourself about 15 to 20 minutes to go pick up. They also have other items on their menu such as salads and subs. I've tried their salad once and it was very delicious but a place called America's Best Wings are going to be good for wings! My favorite flavors are old bay and lemon pepper!!! The name says it all! This is my first time ordering from this location. They went above and beyond to make me happy and I think that's awesome. I called because I was close to the store and they had not order hot and ready when I arrived. I saw a new deal on the wall and they were very pliable and gave me 10% off just to make me a deal I couldn't refuse. The lunch special was an 8 wing platter for 8.99 and I ordered the 10 wing platter for 11.99. They worked with me and met me right where I was comfortable. I went ahead and bought more just because they were awesome about my last minute changes. Now the wings I purchased turned out to be good. I wouldn't say great or amazing but good would be the best word to describe them. Wings I ordered Moon dust- described as having a Caribbean rub mixed with something. Garlic Parmesan - well they are self explanatory. The garlic Parmesan were my favorite. I had mambo sauce which I used to make the moon dust wings more palatable. It worked and I was pleased with the outcome. The order also came with French fries. I put old bay on the French fries to make them Sing!! Although this place is known for its wings. I ofcourse decided to try their cheeseesteak subs. I ordered ahead of time on the phone. They have a deal for a sub, fries and a fountain drink for about $11. The food was ready within 10 minutes. I got the sandwich extra toasted with American cheese, lettuce, grilled onions, mayo on the sandwich. Great customer service as well. Mambo sauce (3 servings) is an additional $1. They also have an option for a sandwich, wings, fries, and a drink for an add'l $2. It's located at the Briggs Chaney shopping center near global food and Ross. There's several parking spots. The area can be a little unsafe, so lock your car doors and don't leave anything expensive in your car unattended for. read more

I think they've new management or something because these wings I just ordered taste weird. The hot buffalo wings tastes like some other stuff something was added I can't quite put my finger on the taste. It's not buffalo sauce. I ordered the whiting fish to be fried with seasoning because apparently they just fry it with just flour (why?? Lol). It tastes pretty good after added seasoning; however, they gave me rice with it. Taste of their food excellent. I am totally impressed of their food. They have the best wings, fried just right, and sauced perfectly. The dipping sauce is free with your wings anything extra you will be charged. The shrimp is also extra if you substitute it for anything. Other than that I would recommend this place. read more

Moondust wings are the best. I also like to get the tilapia with cajun rice. I don't think it's seasoned here was well as the other location that I'm used to going to, but just ask for moon dust on the side and sprinkle some on top of the fish and rice and it's comes out amazing. read more

I use to LOVE this place but my last two orders have been embarrassing. #1 The prices have doubled since they opened. #2 the quality of the chicken has gone down. #3 Delivery times are horrible. I ordered fish and sides Friday night, took an hour and 30 minutes. Keep in mind I live two blocks from the store. My food was cold, nothing worse than cold fish. New wing spot that opened up in the neighborhood! Exciting stuff, right? Had to go take a look. My first impression of this wing spot is pretty good. The place is clean and well lit. The menu has everything from fried fish to philly cheese steaks to subs, salads, wraps, and burgers... And of course WINGS! I ordered the 10 piece buffalo wing combo which came with fries and a drink (boneless are available as well). Order took about 10 min to come out which isn't a long wait. Especially if a place is making your wings fresh! 10 min roll by and my number is called..at last it is time to feast. Opened up the styrofoam cover and this what I found: --Crinkle cut fries (not soggy) = Win --Thin celery sticks - they are supposed to be more like a garnish anyway --10 Wings (naked, light sauce, fried hard) = Win I like my wings a little saucy but I hate when the sauce gets over everything else and makes it soggy. I also like my wings fried hard. First taste... Wings are crispy and the sauce has good flavor ...it is a decent tasting wing ..if you can get past the salt! I assume it's the seasoning on the wing that is salty but you know it's on there! Have your drink ready to chase it before your next bite. I finished all 10 wings and fries (assisted by my raspberry ice tea). There is a small condiment bar to add ketchup, old bay, S&P, and extra wing sauce to your order if desired. Refills are free for fountain drinks. I gave it 3 stars because they just opened the doors and they could still be working on their flavor proportions. This place was not impressive to me regarding their wings. In the three times that I've ordered chicken, I found the chicken to be over cooked - extremely dry and crispy to the point where certain pieces were no chewable. Wings of this sort are usually deep fried, but that doesn't meant they shouldn't maintain some of its moisture and be dazzled with a bit of seasoning. However, after giving up on the wings, I began ordering the tilapia fried fish. Very good until the last time I ordered it and it was very salty. Overall, I like the fried fish much better than the wings. Their best dish are the hush puppies. Very good as a side or a snack to have to accompany you for a long commute. I was SO disappointed in my visit to the Briggs Chaney Americas Best Wings on July 7. Granted, it had been a while since I was there, but I remember when it first opened and 5 wings were maybe $5 and some change. Of course I knew prices had increased but $11.99 for 5 whole wings! Really? I decided to get 3 instead for $6.99. They were worth a lot less!! Clearly new management. First, the walk in order was to take 20 minutes. Then whereas they used to open the box when they brought your order out so you could see how fresh and hot the wings were, there was none of that (and they charged me the 5 cents for the bag without asking if I even wanted it). So I get home and open this box and what do I see? 3 dried up wings (no moisture), smelling like old grease, and looking a little too pink and chewy on the inside for my taste. Not only could I eat only a little of each, I couldn't even share the meat with my dog. I had been looking forward to the wings I was accustomed to from that location. NEVER AGAIN!! read more

One of my local spots! I typically get their steak and cheese combo with wing. It's very filling and consistently tasty. I typically wait 10 minutes when I don't order ahead. I came here twice. Figured I'd try it again before giving a review. First time I went was the opening... I had the teriyaki wings. It was very busy inside and the wings were very dry and bland. Lacked flavor. It tasted like they were over-cooked in the oven then some sauce was thrown on it and BOOM! That's it. Now fast forward to 11 months or so later. I figured... Hmm... Let me give this place another try. I had the steak and cheese sub and honey garlic wings. The sub was ok.... My son got a steak and cheese sub at the subway couple doors down.... I had ordered two ten piece wing orders and they only give one small ranch per ten wings. And keep in mind you will ONLY get the ranch IF you ask for it.
