Delicious wings! Was craving KFC (korean fried chicken) and decided to give this place a try. I like it better than Bonchon! I was impressed with the galbi wings. The wings had a perfect crunch, not spicy as I would have liked, but the smoky flavor was nice. Next time I'll try the spicy wings. I placed a to go order and the wait wasn't long. Great place to try delicious and crispy Korean fried chicken. I placed my order on the phone and was told it would be ready in 15-20 mins. However inside the restaurant there is a kiosk as well as large bar area where you can order food. The mala flavor was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy and even though it had three chili's next to it on the menu, it wasn't over bearingly spicy. They also have Korean comfort food (like teokbokki, kimchi fried rice, dumplings). I ordered their bulgogi rice bowl and their soy garlic wings. The rice bowl was enough for 2 meals. The rib eye meat was tender, thin sliced and flavorful. It came with pickled radish and carrots. The wings (double fried) were extra crispy but still very juicy. Our server was very kind. We ordered peach soju along with rose tteokbokki with cheese and soy garlic boneless chicken. The tteokbokki had a a slight spice, though the cheese made this dish delicious. If I got this again, I'd order a side of fries to dip in some of the delicious cheesy spicy sauce. The boneless chicken was very good. Hot and crispy with very generous size portions. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we got a 16 piece, though we brought 8 pieces home. Honey garlic is bomb, deliciously sweet but also herby from the garlic and savory from the crispy batter. Also got the hot galbi flavor which lowkey tasted like spicy ramen but in the best way. It took about 30 mins for our order to be ready for takeout so take that into consideration when you order. Ambiance is casual, they have a full bar which would make it a great spot to grab a drink with a friend. Seeing the positive reviews got me excited to give this bbq chicken location a try, but the food was just okay. I tried the wings, teokbokki, and matcha milk tea. The wings were decent and had a crunch, but it lacked that extra kick of flavor and sauce. The portion felt small for the price. The teokbokki was was not soft and chewy, so I'm guessing that it wasn't cooked long enough. I wasn't able to eat it because it was too hard so I took it home. The matcha milk tea did not taste like matcha at all(???), and it was also overly sweet... The best part of the food experience was the fries. They were hot and crunchy. Service was prompt but nothing out of the ordinary. The location had a parking lot, and it opens late-ish so it's a good spot to hangout and grab food still. You come here for one reason. The wings. These are definitely the best Korean Wings around. I find this place better than Bon chon. Another recent discovery is that their boneless wings are just as good as their regular wings. I generally avoid boneless wings as they're nothing chicken nuggets or chicken tenders disguised, but here, these boneless chicken are battered and fried and are absolutely delicious. I recommend a side of white rice with it. I only come here for pick ups but this place has ample seating throughout the restaurant. They also have a full bar, but since i don't drink, its kind of a loss for me. I'd come here more often if the food was better for me, but I have to take it in moderation unfortunately. However, I've been here often enough that I've tried mostly every flavor. The chicken is crispy and the portions are plentiful. We got a combo which was more than enough for two people. Our combo had set flavors, original and secret sauce. I really love their golden chicken, secret sauce flavor, Galbi wings, tteokbboki ugh I really love them. But be cautious about ordering the mala flavor for both chicken and tteokbboki because damn this flavor is so spicyyyy! They do sell Korean dishes, but most menu items seemed chicken based. I trithe chicken sandwich. Wow, it's better than any fast food chain I have ever had. It was hot, crispy, and juicy. It comes with spicy Mayo sauce, which is mild but very tasty. This restaurant features a full bar. No bartender on staff during my visit, so I did not partake. Our first experience here and we weren't disappointed. Upon entering, we weren't sure if it was seat yourself or order at kiosk. We planned to dine in, so we were pleased when we were immediately greeted and asked if we wanted take out and once we said dine in, she directed us to sit wherever we liked & she'd come with menus. You have a choice of boneless or wings or half chicken. We both ordered the smallest quantity offered for the boneless of 8 pieces and we both were full! Portion size is great! I got the Secret Sauce which was delicious, a touch of sweet to the heat which was right up my alley. My husband got the Galbi. Both of us tried each other's and both were happy with our own selection. The batter on mine seemed less hard than the Galbi but both definitely were delicious. We want to definitely return to try some of the other flavors we had our eyes on. The restaurant was clean with a nice bar area, some tables & booths and several large screen TVs. I have now done carry out twice and dine-in once and I am adding the 5th star for this place. Their wings are so delicious and well prepared! I have tried numerous flavors of their wings (see previous review for two of them): - Secret Sauce Wings - The BEST! These have an amazing combination of savory and sweet. I will order these every time. - Soy Garlic Wings - These are seriously delicious and mysteriously better reheated the next day...so order some extras. - Cheesling Wings - okay so these are an acquired taste...which I have not yet acquired. Imagine fried wings dropped into a huge vat of Kraft Mac & Cheese powder and completely covered. If that sounds like your cup of tea then you are going to LOVE these. - Galbi Wings - These are a huge winner too. Bursting with flavor but watch the heat...unless you want to order them "spicy" in which case, you're on your own. - Gangnam Style Wings - I really loved these too. There's no sauce on them as all the flavoring is in the batter...which is thick! There's jalapenos in there but I didn't find it very spicy. We need to spread the word about this place because it is rarely full and people don't know what it's about (they think it's a bbq chicken place). Please try this place out.
