Great chicken. The cleeseling wings were a little sweeter than usual. And the boneless wings have gotten smaller. The wings of fire are still great. Wish they came in boneless (idk why they don't). But the bone in wings were bigger than they have been every other time I've gotten them (around 10-15 times) They didn't give me any pickled daikon radish with my order. I order delivery frequently. The chicken is always good. However the kimchi fried rice didnt have any kimchi in it and tasted more like regular fried rice. Lots of onion and vegetable flavor but no kimchi flavor. I feel like they forgot to put any kimchi in it. No kimchi bits or the expected kimchi tart flavor. bb.q Chicken is such a great late-night find! The space was super clean and had a really nice ambiance. I loved the mix of things going on from news on the TVs to a cozy fireplace and even K-pop playing in the background. One thing that stood out was the use of technology they have interactive tablets for ordering, which made everything really easy and convenient. Our server was also very friendly and helpful. The food was also delicious! I ordered the bibimbap and really enjoyed it. Delicious wings! Was craving KFC (korean fried chicken) and decided to give this place a try. I like it better than Bonchon! I was impressed with the galbi wings. The wings had a perfect crunch, not spicy as I would have liked, but the smoky flavor was nice. Next time I'll try the spicy wings. I placed a to go order and the wait wasn't long. The employee who greeted me was nice. There's a full bar in here, which I didn't expect. My only complaint about my experience was the busy parking lot. They changed most of everything. We visited this location when they first opened and were very happy with the food and customer service. Now, it has fallen way downhill! Onion rings were obviously frozen out of a bag and the wings had no seasoning. Server was standoffish, she literally was the worst bartender in the history of bartenders in the DMV. read more

Not sure why more people don't come here more often. The chicken is SOOOOOOOO GOOD! And for those who haven't tried Korean fried chicken before, it's pretty much double fried and sauced very well, not like other wing spots where they skimp on sauce. They also have other Korean dishes and sides just for you to try if you crave it. Full bar as well! Just be mindful the parking lot can get crazy because of the grocery store next door. Come here! Great place to try delicious and crispy Korean fried chicken. I placed my order on the phone and was told it would be ready in 15-20 mins. However inside the restaurant there is a kiosk as well as large bar area where you can order food. The mala flavor was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy and even though it had three chili's next to it on the menu, it wasn't over bearingly spicy. The wings are on the pricier side but they are fairly large. I also order the fries which were crispy too and the mango slush which was delicious. read more

A great place for Korean style fried chicken. They have many different flavors for their wings (kalbi, spicy, mala, cheesling, garlic soy, ect). They also have Korean comfort food (like teokbokki, kimchi fried rice, dumplings). I ordered their bulgogi rice bowl and their soy garlic wings. The rice bowl was enough for 2 meals. The rib eye meat was tender, thin sliced and flavorful. It came with pickled radish and carrots. The wings (double fried) were extra crispy but still very juicy. I've placed orders at this location about a handful of times. My favorite is the spicy original as I don't like my wings saucy. It usually comes with a small side of daikon. Overall pretty delicious. Their pricing is pretty high for wings too. As of their establishment, there's plenty of seating as well as a bar available to their customers. Mmm, breading. If you like heavily breaded fried chicken, this place is for you -- and it's actually pretty good. Each piece of fried chicken is coated in a thick shell of breading, and coated in sauce. The sauces -- I tried a variety-- were all tasty and good. Unfortunately, I don't like my chicken this breaded. Some of the pieces had a gap between the shell and the actual chicken, and I thought the chicken itself was just... meh, and bland. A little bit of a drive from home, though absolutely worth it! We came on a Sunday night around dinner and it was surprisingly empty, though it did pick up a little as we were leaving. If you're dining in, you can sit at any of the tables and the server will bring you a menu. There's a long bar and a bunch of booths, so plenty of seating. The restaurant is clean and bright. Our server was very kind. We ordered peach soju along with rose tteokbokki with cheese and soy garlic boneless chicken. The tteokbokki had a a slight spice, though the cheese made this dish delicious. If I got this again, I'd order a side of fries to dip in some of the delicious cheesy spicy sauce. The boneless chicken was very good. Hot and crispy with very generous size portions. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we got a 16 piece, though we brought 8 pieces home. We have done take-out from bbq chicken about 10 times. The quality of the food is outstanding. I really appreciate that the flavors of the wings are unique from most other food we eat. Our favorite is the Honey-Garlic wings. Last night the boss said I should try their wings with their secret sauce. Wow! We loved it and will be ordering the secret sauce again. I don't like food which is too spicy and the secret sauce only has a hint of spice but mostly sweet. The service is good and the restaurant is spacious. I made an order online for the spicy original chicken wings and literally ate it all in the car before i got home. That's how good they were! My friend saw a picture of the wings and instantly also ordered on Uber eats at an another location in VA and she agreed that they were absolutely delicious. The wings are perfectly crisp and perfectly seasoned. Not too spicy but there's definitely a kick that will have your nose running. I just want to state that flavor of the chicken is not the reason I give the 1 star. The very unfair manager was not at the store on 1 occasion, so others can't honor my Groupon localflavor deal. Next time, I came, I was trying to use the voucher, he refused, saying he needed the QR code. I dealt w both localflavor and groupon and managed to get QR code. Today, I stopped by again, and now the reasoning he used is he never authorized selling the voucher through Groupon. Only through localflavor. These vouchers are what I purchased last year. Honey garlic is bomb, deliciously sweet but also herby from the garlic and savory from the crispy batter. Also got the hot galbi flavor which lowkey tasted like spicy ramen but in the best way. It took about 30 mins for our order to be ready for takeout so take that into consideration when you order. Ambiance is casual, they have a full bar which would make it a great spot to grab a drink with a friend. Seeing the positive reviews got me excited to give this bbq chicken location a try, but the food was just okay. I tried the wings, teokbokki, and matcha milk tea. The wings were decent and had a crunch, but it lacked that extra kick of flavor and sauce. The portion felt small for the price. The teokbokki was was not soft and chewy, so I'm guessing that it wasn't cooked long enough. I wasn't able to eat it because it was too hard so I took it home. The matcha milk tea did not taste like matcha at all(???), and it was also overly sweet... The best part of the food experience was the fries. They were hot and crunchy. Service was prompt but nothing out of the ordinary. The location had a parking lot, and it opens late-ish so it's a good spot to hangout and grab food still. Let's begin with the fact they are open late and if you're having a craving or coming home late this spot will settle the late night cravings you're having! The chicken is crispy and the portions are plentiful. We got a combo which was more than enough for two people. Our combo had set flavors, original and secret sauce. We liked the original more, nothing against the secret sauce it was good like a spicy sweet sauce but the original was just perfect as is. We can't wait to go back and try the other flavors.
