Amazing service and amazing food. So happy to finally get the chance to check this place out. Heard so many good things and I finally understand why.

Friday 11/1/2024 I had originally found this spot through instagram and I think it had something to do with them having the best cheesesteaks so I had to find out for myself. I made a takeout order through their website and got bulgogi $14.49, soy & garlic Korean fried chicken (half chicken) $17, small sweet & spicy D.G.J (dak gang jeong) $9, and the famous Philly cheesesteak $9.49. - the bulgogi is a rather expensive plate that comes with rice, green beans, bulgogi, and more. The bulgogi meat was pretty underwhelming but the meal itself was okay. - The soy & garlic Korean fried chicken was solid but it didn't do much for me as I've had better for about the same price. - The famous Philly cheesesteak was smaller than I expected and it was just alright (not best cheesesteak worthy). - The small sweet & spicy D.G.J is pretty much fried chicken bites with a sweet sauce. It was significantly smaller than what I expected from a $9 (which is very expensive) but it was alright. Overall, the food was alright/decent but I do think that they are tripping with the prices ($55.63 total is pretty crazy). The prices are too much based on the taste & portions of the food. It's a cool spot but I can't see myself coming back in the future.

The best cheesesteaks and korean fried chicken in the area!! The beef cheesesteak is sooo delicious. The korean fried soy garlic chicken is crispy, flavorful and perfect! The sweet and spicy chicken was also incredible. I can't wait to try more of their menu items!!

Had very ok service with very ok rice cakes. My friend had the cheesesteak which he loved but as far as the service vibes and rice cakes it was super ok. Not sure if I'd stop again but nothing particularly wrong with the place, rice cakes were just overcooked and hard.

When I pulled up to this spot, I questioned why I was there. The outside of this place isn't appealing (but don't sleep on it). I ordered, I walked out. Wait, to the right, is a door, that leads to a Pub!! I get my food, and it's the BEST I've EVER had...LET'S GO!! . Where I am: @cheesesteakmikes . Location Reviewed: 10222 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring M.D. . Items Reviewed: Their Dak Gang Jeong (crusted, diced chicken breast with spicy soy sauce, & fried rice cakes med. $11.99). STAMP!! Perfectly crispy, & crunchy. With the sweet & hot spicy sauce, & sprinkled with sesame seeds...I could eat these forever!! Their Half Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken (with a sweet & spicy chili sauce, sprinkled with sesame seeds $14.99). STAMP!! The integrity of the crunchiness remained with the chicken being doused in the exceptional flavored sauce!! The BEST fried chicken I've EVER HAD!! Yep... Their Half Garlic Soy Fried Chicken (with garlic soy sauce, sprinkled with sesame seeds $14.99). STAMP!! Mild & garlicky in taste, still crunchy, flavorful, & scrumptious!! Their Cheesesteak (with provolone, onions, hot peppers, a canned beverage, & hand cut fries $10.99). LIKE THAT!! Prime Rib was used, fresh provolone, & the FRIES were cut & cooked right there!! . I decided to stop by the carryout after driving past it several times. This is an Asian carryout. There is a bar on the side of the carryout, but I didn't go. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak with boardwalk fries. I ate the fries on the way home. Both were really good. The customer service was good. I had to wait a minute to get my food. The carryout part is small inside. It was clean inside. There is no inside or outside seating.

If very fitting that the best cheese steaks in the DMV would be right here in Silver Spring, MD. It's as if NYC's chopped cheese and Philly's cheese steaks had a baby! The lettuce, tomato, mayo and hot peppers included is the ultimate combination! It doesn't leave you feeling disgusted with yourself after. Not to mention it's under $10??! It's run by the sweetest Korean family with many Korean options to choose from. Get your KFC (Korean fried chicken) fix here! Along with bulgogi, galbi, katsu and much more. We got the boneless chicken bites to share and they were 10/10! (This sounds like an ad but I promise you it's not lol it was just really good) Make sure to head to the back! There's a hidden pub that many might miss if you over look it. There's plenty of seating at the bar or at the tables. We also had some soju + beer that came with these cute glasses that tells the alcohol percentage. Honestly just great vibes all together, service was amazing and would definitely be back! Also a huge bonus that it's right off the 495 and a mile from the 95!

I recently visited a Korean takeout spot, and it was an amazing experience. They offer a delicious Bulgogi cheesecake that I've never had elsewhere, and their Korean wings are simply amazing! This is a hidden gem in my opinion. Highly recommended! Side note: They have a pub in the back but I have never been, but pretty sure if you want to eat there or have a beer that's where you can go since the front does not offer seats

Very good cheesesteaks from this spot. The Steak was moist and flavorful and the toppings didn't take up too much of the sandwich. They even offer Cheez Whiz as an option for the cheese you want so your friend visiting from Philly can shut up for once lol . Very good customer service as well . You will enjoy eating at this spot so give this place a check out.

I went there on a Friday and loved the whole aesthetic of, not only the butcher shop, but also the quality of meats and value to quality ratio of the food. On Friday, I had the philly cheese steak alone with some of the beef tallow fries. Note: the cheese steak could easily feed 2-3 (or 4) individuals. The fries reminded me of what mcdonalds used to taste like, In the most respectful way possible. They're tasty. The cheese steak ruined my day because nothing else I had to eat that day could match the intensity , girth and flavor of that cheese steak. On the Sunday before I left from DC, I stopped again and although wasn't feeling as hungry as I had been on Friday, I opted for the BLT. IMO, the BLT was the better option. Don't get me wrong the Cheese steak is amazing and well worth trying at least once, but the BLT, something about the simplicity in a sandwich being executed to perfection. I opted to have the sandwich on rye. The lettuce and tomato were fresh and crisp. Their house made bacon is outstanding. Simplicity executed flawlessly. The staff is very kind and respectful. The regular fries? Meh. But the sweet potato waffle fries were excellent and definitely the better choice. They also have beer available if you like to wash your burger down with some suds. I went in a different direction and tried the special Orange Creamsicle milkshake. I loved the idea of it, but sadly there wasn't much actual orange flavor happening. I'd probably go with a standard chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla next time. Service was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant itself was perfectly fine. For starters, we got the New England Clam Chowder and an order of Chickpea Fries. New England Clam Chowder - definitely a chowder and not a soup (heavy cream base) with a nice flavor and a healthy amount of clam bits. Chickpea Fries - A nice portion of well prepared fries. Nice crunch on the outside, but moist on the inside. Well seasoned and not oily. Comes with ketchup and an avocado lime ranch, which was ok. It's a huge portion and we took most of it home to enjoy later. Good use of chickpeas. Branzino - This is a whole fish split in half. Pretty easy to remove the bones oneself. The skin was nice and crunchy with the meat inside moist. Well prepared. I'm not a huge fan of dill and I think the seasoning of dill is a bit overdone here. (I'm pretty sure it's dill. Whatever it is, it's too heavy for me and detracts from the meal.). The wild rice side dish is very good. Lobster Roll - Excellent. My partner ordered this and the only comment was that the large was very big and next time they likely would get the small one. Lots of delicious, cold lobster meat. The fries also were excellent. The service overall was very good. Our food was served at an appropriate rate (apps, then main, which seems not to be important at a lot of restaurants these days) and the water service was excellent. Recommend this restaurant. I explained the entire situation to the general manager and even provided pictures showing exactly what we received. Instead of trying to accommodate us as regular customers, offer a replacement sandwich, provide a food credit, or even genuinely apologize, he repeatedly told us that if we brought the food back, they could do something about it. We had already thrown the food away because it was raw and unsafe to eat. This was the night before, and we had no reason to believe we needed to keep the food after taking pictures and documenting the issue. The fact that I'm a regular customer and was treated this way is extremely disappointing. There was absolutely no effort to make the situation right. I will NEVER eat at this establishment again. Serving customers raw food is a serious health concern, and based on my experience, I believe the local health department should be made aware of what happened. Terrible food. The blue cheese dressing is amazing with chunks of blue cheese in it. This salad is my favorite. Very Bliss cocktail: I was going to order a nonalcoholic beer, but our server, Ash, recommended this cocktail, which I ordered but asked to make it minimally sweet. It was delicious and refreshing containing strawberry, basil, fresh citrus, agave, and soda. and I would order it again. Great recommendation Ash. Service: stellar Service from Ash. Ambience: copper Canyon grills have a steakhouse atmosphere. Low lighting. Not too loud. Wood paneling and stone wall accents. Large inviting bar. We like to eat here.
