I like Arby's! I Like the change of pace from the typical burger and chicken fast food gambit. I decided to try their version of a cheesesteak. I'm going to give this a big FAT ZERO! A waste of money to even feed rats this detritus. The sandwich tasted like it was perhaps microwave because the bread was chewy like I you would experience after microwaving a hotdog bun. The steak was shredded and chopped, but there was so much cheese it made for a weird chew. Almost like eating gooey Mac n cheese. Could not taste much else from this VERY BAD sandwich. I love Arby's and locations can be hard to come by in this area. I visit this location if I'm nearby and in the mood for a super roast beef sandwich and curly fries. I also enjoy lemonade so I get the fresh lemonade with my combo. Today, I ordered a medium size combo and was certain I received a small drink by mistake but it turns out that the fresh lemonades come in smaller cups than the sodas do so that was a disappointment. It looked quite ridiculous once I added my straw. I also received a good amount of fry bits (the small crunchy pieces) instead of the more decent curly fires in my order today but it's not a huge deal. read more

This is a very tacky store. Some idiot employee there locked the doors before closing time and told my food delivery driver to get in the drive through to pick up the food. This caused the driver to unassign my order and made the order take so long that my food was cold when I got it an hour later. The dumb employee had the nerve to report my driver to the company to try to get him fired just because the driver told him that he could just bring my order to the door so he could leave. Maybe if that Arby's idiot keeps showing people how unprofessional and hateful he his, he should lose his petty little job. Don't order food from this place at night because they may tell the driver to get in the drive-thru. He's too stupid to realize that by trying to use a huge corporation to punish a food deliverer, WHO COMES TO HIS STORE to pick up food for that corporation and also the individual customer. I didn't feel welcome at all. I know we're supposed to hate Chick-fil-A but they have the most courteous and diligent employees I've ever seen; at this Arby's I witnessed the exact opposite but quite possibly just what to expect and pass off as fast food crew etiquette. The manager was unfriendly to me and barked orders at his employees, who obligingly complied. He clearly led with an iron fist. You don't need to see someone lower their mask to know they're grimacing under there. My hunch is that this is a franchise location. As common with so many front-of-the-house employees at fast food restaurants, the cashier had no idea how to redeem a coupon and no idea how to process a gift card. I get treated like garbage and penurious walking in with what is the equivalent of cash. They upcharged me 30 cents on the sweet potato waffle fries and look at the photo to see how they charged me: a water and three "add onions" so there likely isn't an upcharge or they didn't know how to ring it up. I had the creamy Mediterranean chicken wrap, a side of waffle fries, and a Barq's root beer, my fave. The chicken was not fresh and had no flavor. The waffle fries were doughy and evidently not cooked long enough, and the soda was what I'd expect out of a fountain soda. The temperature in the dining area was kept like an icebox. It's normally too hot at places but I've never sat in a fast food joint and felt uncomfortably cold. The service, food, and attitude of the staff here was very disappointing. I ordered the chicken bacon Swiss for lunch, however when I bit into my sandwich I instantly noticed that my chicken was raw. Sadly, I turned back around from my office's parking lot and rode back to this Arby's knowing full well that they'd understand. I mean, it wasn't like I ate the food and returned, trying to get over on them... but that's how I was treated. I pulled up to the drive through and told them into the intercom that my sandwich was raw, and was told to drive up to the window. Once I did, the same young lady that took my order said: Now what is it that you want? Huh? So, I explained to her again that my chicken sandwich wasn't cooked properly, then opened the box showing her that I hadn't eaten it. She then sighed, and took the sandwich from me, didn't apologize or even say anything else to me. So as I sit there awaiting my resolution, I look in the window to see that same young lady pointing to me, while her co-worker looked on laughing, while the manager(I suppose) was on her cell phone. After three or four minutes, the co-worker that laughed at me came to the window with a new sandwich, but still didn't part her lips to say anything to me. Once I grabbed my sandwich, I said: thank you, and have a nice day, to which she shut the window, with no response. I don't appreciate being treated like I'm at fault because I didn't want to eat something that could potentially kill me. The food is good and for the most part, the service is friendly. My problem was that my order was wrong. I ordered the roasted Turkey salad and got the chicken one instead. When i took the salad back to the counter and explained that she had given me the wrong one, the girl at the register said she was sorry, was nice and polite. The problem was the evil eye and nasty face I got from the food preparer. I don't know if she had just gotten reprimanded or not, but I kept my eyes on her to make sure she didn't do something nasty to my new salad. As an occasional to seldom junk food eater I've over the years dutifully tried everything on their menu at least once. Somehow I don't think they're as good as they once were - in general. So as to make it easy to gage each of these places, if and when I do try them, I've devised a scale of 1 to 5 with 1 being outright down and dirty nasty, and 5 being the best a fast food joint can be! I gage: cleanliness; service; product quality; convenience; accessibility; taste and the personnel's attitude. This place scores 4.0 of 5. I also lived in this neighborhood before it was as run down as it is now, so I can't say I was expecting much...but I was hungry...and how bad could they mess up a roast beef sandwich, right!? I've been here twice now and I'll be back. Here's why: GREETING: The people there looked me in the eye and smiled with a greeting in preparation for taking my order. That just doesn't happen often anymore. SPEED: The order was taken and filled VERY fast. It's FAST FOOD, right? Not everywhere I've been in the last 10-15 years. This Arby's makes it happen quickly. QUALITY: I've gotten a lot of fast food orders that looked so obviously thoughtlessly prepared I was almost afraid to eat the product I'd just purchased. I admit that less than 11 hours ago, my husband ate some food from Arby's in Hyattsville Maryland because he was craving some food from there and it is one of his favorite fast food eating places near the apartment that we both currently reside in. Anyhow, my sweet husband paid for our food and got me an Andes mint shake (minty shake with Andess chocolate mints), King's Hawaiian Fish Deluxe Sandwich, and some mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce. My husband got the traditional curly seasoned Arby's fries with the Arby's bacon swiss sandwich. We both liked our food and have ate food from this Arby's location from time to time since the same year it opened in 2012. read more

This is the best Arby's I've ever been to. Most of them are pretty good but this one is well kept and clean. The food is always fresh and the customer service is much better than you would ever expect from a fast food restaurant. I agree with the other Yelper Stella C. who mentioned Celina. This young woman is very helpful and very positive. Again much above what you would expect from a fast food restaurant. I sure hope she is paid decently as she obviously takes responsibility to do the best she can for the customers. There is another young guy who is tall and slim who took my order once who was also helpful. I think he is the manager or atleast one of them. I can't really say I've had a negative encounter with any of them but Celina definantly deserves a bell ring when you leave. The one by the door to salute good service. You ding it and they all chant a "your welcome" chant. Also the well kept lobby is nicely lit and decorated. I realize it has only been open for about 6 months but hopefully they keep doing well with the upkeep. Tip: this location is key if you are leaving any of the night clubs that are in the same center. I can't remember what time this Arby's closes but if you catch it in time it goes down well after some drinking and dancing. read more

What a joke. Been watching the advertisements about the pot belly sandwiches. Haven't been to Arby's in decades, so I thought I would try it out. It's a shame, all of these fast food joints make the food look so inviting on tv, but when you get there, it's totally different! I'm gonna keep this short! Ordered a potbelly sandwich & a traditional roast beef sandwich! Glad I checked my order when I got in the car or I would have been even more upset. I asked for roast beef w/Swiss cheese. They gave me to buns with some kinda meat no cheese. Sure didn't look or taste like roast beef to me. No lettuce, mayo, tomatoes. I had to take sandwich back because they gave me the wrong kind of cheese! Took sandwich back inside. They told me .$35 extra for lettuce and .$55 extra for tomato! The pot belly sandwich was like thick fat back bacon on a bun. Bacon was thick & very salty! A heart attack waiting to happen. Service very slow! So, for $13 and some change, I got 2 sandwiches that I ended up throwing in the trash. It was nothing but slop that even a pig would turn its nose to! The bright spot of the whole meal was the cup of ice water! It will be 2 more decades before I set foot in another Arby's! read more

Friendliest restaurant staff ever. They were all extremely welcoming and helpful which was totally unexpected based on the average fast food experience. Every member of the staff that I came in contact with greeted me with a smile and friendly saying, and this may sound weird, but it felt like they actually meant it. I could tell that they took pride in their work and that they actually cared about the location because it was spotless and felt very cozy with the comfortable, modern furniture and art work. I have never been a big fan of roast beef, but after my experience at this location, I will 100% be choosing to dine at Arby's over other fast food locations because of the service, cleanliness, and my new found love of their delicious roast beef. read more

For value and taste, I rate the large roast beef sandwich at Arby's as one of the best. I get the horseradish-mayo dressing in the small packets. I add sliced tomato and some onion and I am in hog heaven. The sandwich tastes like real roast beef. It's not to salty or greasy. One sandwich fills me up.
