I've ordering from here since 2018 and finally stepped foot in the door in 2026. Its even better in person. A hidden gem of a deli in the middle of an office park that has a NYC feel and attitude inside. The entire menu is good but for me the pastrami based sandwiches are so good they reminds me of Katz in NYC so it really hits that nostalgia button for me. This hidden gem is on the side of an office building. It's worth the hunt! I got the daily special, an open face roast beef sandwich. Nice solid roll, real gravy, tender beef, and plenty of napkins provided without asking. Could have used a knife and fork, it was so juicy even without the side of extra gravy. The dill spear and Dr. Brown's soda prove it worthy of the name Deli. Very cordial service. I will be back to try the more typical deli treats next time I visit the Home Depot nearby. read more

A small deli in an office building open for breakfast and lunch (closes 4 pm). Wouldn't have found it if not for my Yelp search for sandwiches as we were driving in the area. We got a pastrami Reuben and a "Corned Beef and Pastrami". Each was on toasted rye that was perfectly prepared. A good portion of meat on each and I have to say, an excellent deli sandwich. And the price of each ($8.99) is very reasonable. We also got a side of potato salad and side of cole slaw. Both were good and the container is very generous for $2.99 each. There's a variety of chips available and a soda fountain with free refills. Limited seating. The staff there were friendly and appreciative of the business. It's a really nice place to stop in for a sandwich. I likely will try one of their entree salads next time. Breakfasts sound good on the menu also. We don't come to the area often, but this will be our new go-to lunch spot. read more

Small mom & pop place right by Home Depot, it's inside a business complex & I didn't notice any exterior signs but I entered from the wrong side. Prices were good here, felt like a good value for a fresh sandwich. I got a Turkey & Provolone sub with extra veggies, Hubble got a steak and cheese. He said next time he would get what I got and I agreed but also the cold chicken salad, tuna or egg salad has solid reviews so I would try that. They had four people working and they were all very friendly, service was fast too. We took our sandwiches to go but they had indoor seating but its a small space. read more

Mike and Barry's is a small deli with limited seating. It reminds me of a mom and pop store. IFYKYK. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese croissant. The sandwich was good/average nothing to rave about but not terrible to where I wouldn't eat it again. As far as the sandwich I ordered, I feel it would've been great if the croissant was more fresh. Instead it seems it's brought in a bag from Sams club or Costco. The meat to egg ratio could be better. I had a sandwich with mostly egg and a subtle taste of bacon. I finally returned for the first time after over a year since I have been telecommuting. I was happy to see it is still open, friendly as ever, and delicious food as usual. I got the the Italian Cold Cut. It had the perfect amount of everything. Can't go wrong with this sub. So the ambiance isn't 5 star, but the food is! Mike and Barry both still work behind the counter or are out taking deliveries. The sandwiches were made fresh and were priced quite reasonably. We also sampled their potato and spinach knish. Dynamite! I had the beef and bird, my coworker had the Reuben. Both were made to our liking and provided a fresh quick option. Nice office park deli with a handful of tables and a pretty big selection across sandwiches, subs, soups, salads and burgers. There's a soda fountain as well as a good selection of canned/bottled beverages including Dr. Brown (for those who will always associate deli food with Dr. Brown sodas). I ordered the corned beef and pastrami on toasted rye with cheese, it comes with coleslaw and 1000 island as well. This was really good. The only thing that would have kicked it up a notch was to have buttered and grilled rye rather than the lightly toasted, but the meat itself was very good. Not Langers level good for those who have been to the holy grail of pastrami divinity, but absolutely worth ordering again. My husband's burger, well, honestly, we'd avoid the burgers in future. The patty tasted like a frozen burger patty and just wasn't great. Fortunately though there are a lot of other things on the menu that sound good and with the deli meat being legit, that may be what we will keep coming back for. Prices are very reasonable and each meal came with a nice kosher dill pickle. You can get chips too, but I was full after eating just my sandwich. I actually really appreciate having a reasonable sized sandwich for a reasonable price rather than paying $20 for a sandwich that takes three meals to eat like at some other delis I've been to. read more

I think I've driven by here a billion times, but never stopped in. And I've been missing out. Mike and Barry's is a traditional, old style deli. A place to grab a sandwich for lunch (or breakfast items). They're real sandwiches, not the ridiculous bread things you'll get at subway or something. My go to is the corned beef on rye, and it's delicious. It comes with a pickle wrapped up, too, which is a really good pickle. So far, I haven't been inside of Mike and Barry's, but only ordered via Uber Eats. I might have to stop by the next time I'm around at lunch time. read more

The deli was hard to find. It's on the first floor of an office building and the sign isn't easy to see from the parking lot. There is a back entrance if you go into the office building. Located in an office building across the street from DARCARS, Mike and Barry's Deli is a hidden find. Was looking for a place to grab a sandwich while I was working nearby and Yelp pointed me here. I'm definitely glad I stopped in for lunch. Staff is super friendly and even brought my sandwich to my table outside. This deli offers breakfast items, soups and salads, sandwiches (hot and cold), burgers, hot dogs, and dessert. There are daily specials as well. Prices are reasonable. Debated between the Italian cold cut and corned beef/pastrami, and decided on the cold cut. My sandwich came with a variety of meats, choice of cheese (I choice their default provolone), lettuce, tomato, and jalapenos. I opted for no Italian dressing or mayo, but would at least dressing next time. I enjoyed my cold cut. It had a good amount of meat and the toppings were fresh. Enjoyed the sub roll, which was soft yet slightly crunchy. Definitely satisfied my sandwich craving. There's a good amount of parking in the lot out front. I stopped by this inconspicuous deli and it was so delightful. Wearing my vintage fedora and burgundy striped brown overcoat, I ordered the Reuben sandwich, chips and the Jumbo Peanut Butter Cookie. The sandwich was made quickly with love. The Reuben sandwich from the corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and dressing was delicious. Not only was the food fresh but it was reasonably priced. The sandwich comes with a crisp pickle. Don't sleep on the cookie. The cookie was loaded with Reese's and peanut buttery good. We come in to this location 2 times a week with our child who receives therapy next door. We are always received in such a lovely way by the staff there. The owner is a very funny guy, Our son can be having a hard day and this place perks him up. They even change the channel on the tv for him to watch a kids show which we are always so grateful for. Their prices are very good too. This is what we have lost with box stores and big business. The privately owned human touch is so important for the community and the happiness of every day life and we choose to go here over some local chain on purpose to support them. read more

You want to go where everybody knows your name!!! This deli reminded me of an episode of cheers, minus the beers. I could imagine myself having breakfast here several times a week. They made me feel right at home. I had problems finding the actual location so listen carefully. Go around the back of the buildings and walk to the center you will see the door with signage that leads you to the deli. So to recap just walk between the two buildings and it's on the bottom floor! You can actually access the deli from the office building if you find yourself lost. I ordered a breakfast sandwich because they said I could. I was basically looking for some protein after a great workout . It turned out to be a good choice. I got the egg sandwich with turkey bacon and cheese on an everything bagel! Try to say that twice without getting tongue tied!! I sat there and ate half of my food and watched what I believe was an old show "in the heat of the night." I guess I'm confused by all the high ratings. Did I order the wrong thing (the Italian sub), are Fridays someones day off? Was it because they were slow and they let things slip? Don't know as this was my first time here. Nice enough folks, but the sandwich sucked - soft, mushy hoagie roll (not the Italian roll on the website), soaked through with vinegar and what appeared to be a prepared roll of cold cuts (so tightly wound that the roll was like one pie of meat). I'm a 220lb guy, and I'll eat anything, but I could only bear half of this thing. The salt and vinegar chips ("Dirty" something) were awesome, so not a complete loss, but somebody on Yelp said that Italian sub was great.
