Great deli next to the metro. We got bacon egg and cheese bagel and sausage egg and cheese on a croissant for just $3.99 each. On your way somewhere and need to pick-up a quick sandwich, this place hit the spot. I think their hours are pretty limited as they're accommodating businesses and working professionals in the area so just something to be mindful of. There seems to be good public outdoor seating right outside as well. read more

Quick breakfast/lunch place! We got two subs and two drinks for lunch, which costed lesser than $20. The service is very good, friendly and efficient, so even if you see many people in the store, you won't wait much. For a wrap, I could choose a wrap type so I had green spinach rather than regular wheat or other types. The ingredients were super fresh, and the portion was also great. Way way way better than going to Subway, which doesn't have fresh ingredients or offer this price. There are a range of sub menus so I would try another one again. I only get to-go sandwiches here and I don't believe there is a dining area. The sandwiches are decent, I recommend the club but I don't get the middle bread. A lot of the sandwiches come with chips as well. There are plenty of options for chips, drinks, and snacks. The service is quick and polite. read more

I love Little Home Deli! One of the few small businesses in the immediate area (nearby are McDonalds, Einstein Bagels, etc.). The perfect place to grab a quick breakfast or lunch to take back to the office. Also, the owner is very nice and personable! The main thing that inspired me to post a review though is that they are the only establishment that I can think of that has actually LOWERED their prices rather than raise them. In a time where a Sweetgreen salad can cost your $15, it's nice to be able to grab a $4 breakfast sandwich, or a $7 sub. read more

This is the best deli I've found in the downtown silver spring area. Their breakfast sandwiches are great, their wraps are great, and my partner says their sandwiches are great too. I had a chocolate chip muffin once and that was nice and moist as well. I don't think you can go wrong here! Prices are good and normal too, especially for how much food you get. I often can't finish my sandwich and get two lunches in one. read more

This place underwent a management change and remodel about a year ago. At first, the new owners didn't keep up the same type of "bakery" aspect as the previous, but recently they have started baking their own cookies at least. They also bake a variety of typical morning pastries such as turn-overs and brownies. You will not find anything exotic here, but the cookies are pretty good now, and worth the $1.00 since they border on cake size ... at about 4" in diameter. The staff is friendly and pleasant and with the proximity to such chains as Einsteins and Starbucks, it is nice to give a little to a local mom-and-pop now and then, especially when they have good cookies. read more

This place is most definitely a hidden gem! I stumbled upon this deli while walking to the Silver Spring metro and I was sooooooo glad that I did. I had the chicken steak sub (which I had never heard of before) and it was PHENOMENAL!!! OMGosh! My husband and actually split it and after I tasted it I wished that I had ordered a whole one myself. Plus they had a huge selection of drinks, chips, fresh fruit, and desserts. This place MUST go on the come back again list! :) read more

I work in the building, so I'm kinda forced to come here. However, I think today will be my last day patronizing this place. I'll just make the walk to other eateries with more friendly service. They've become ingrates and take for granted that without customers they would have no business. Why do I have to apologize for asking for whatever extra condiments I want on my sandwich? Are you paying me, or am I paying you? They nickel and dime you for asking for pepper and oregano? Really folks are you that pressed for a dime. Yea I've endured it for about as long as I can. The sons taking the money rarely say thank you. They just slam money in your hand and try their best not to touch you. It's like damn I don't have to come here. And after today, I won't! The food is really bland, and I'm pretty sure most come here out of convenience. That ends today for me! read more

This place is a cute little local deli close to the metro. I'd rather come here to give the small business some revenue instead of going to the nearby starbucks, DD, and Einstein bagel company. I always get the egg and cheese sandwich with a coffee for all under $5. Just don't come here expecting home made bread or anything. The service is quick as I've been able to get my food and coffee, pay and run to my bus in under seven minutes. They have a variety of breakfast sandwiches, salads and lunch options all for a good price. read more

This is my go-to place for lunch, since it's in the same building as my office. No-frills, no-nonsense, this is my standby when I'm not thinking about lunch but think I should eat it anyway. Breakfast too. Sometimes I embarrass myself by getting both breakfast and lunch here. It's Korean-owned and -operated, but unfortunately they don't serve Korean food. If they could whip up a passable kimchi jjigae, I'd never go anywhere else for lunch. Standard deli fare, sammiches and soup and salad for good prices. Service is friendly and efficient. They open and close early - this is a venue for cubicle farmers to pick up and bring lunch back to the office. There are a couple of tables inside, but the atmosphere doesn't really lend itself to lingering. read more

I love Little Home Deli ! I have been working in silver spring for just about 3 months and they have won my "breakfast heart"! I first discovered them when I walked past coming out of the metro and saw so many people in there getting there breakfast bagels and/or bread sandwich. I went in and got the Bacon Egg and cheese for 2.99$! Yum! Then I started getting 2 every morning because my co worker always wants half of mines! I even experimented and started putting banana peppers on half! I also have had one of their spicy subs for lunch- I cant remember the exact name but it was YUM! Oh .. and the owners are a Korean family! They're awesome! They always greet people with a cheerful smile and good morning! And now I feel comfortable greeting them with a Korean greeting "kam samee dah!" ha-ha, and the lady says to me "hello Korean" ha-ha so wrong but cute! This place gets an "A" in my book! read more

Very convenient to stop in for breakfast as I'm coming from the metro. The prices are about the same (maybe even a little less) than the other office building cafes in the area. This morning I had an awesome BLT for only $2.99! I'm also a fan of the turkey sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich- pretty cool that they serve turkey sausage and bacon. Bonus points because they have Popchips flavors that I previously had not heard of and the owner always has a cheery smile and "good morning!" for customers. read more

Asking around for recommendations and little home was unanimous among many from the area! I never would have know it existed and I'm so glad I now know! The cheapest prices for really fresh, quality food! The California chicken wrap had warm, juicy chicken and FRESH avocado sliced directly from the fruit- no pre-made spread or anything like that! They're food is cheap which is why they get one star. The women remember my "usual" which is why they get another star. I've been coming here for over 6 months and the service is C- at best. They don't speak English very well, and they don't really try to talk to customers. Even the cashier who does speak English very well isn't friendlier than a half smile. They pre make their eggs in the back and microwave them with cheese which is odd to me. But for $3.70 and the convenience of the place right outside of my office, whatever. read more

Fast, friendly, great value service! This is the best place to stop for breakfast or lunch steps from the Silver Spring metro. I've been in several times for breakfast sandwiches on weekdays. The woman who makes the sandwiches acknowledges me as soon as I step in, even though she's probably in the middle of preparing several other orders. sandwich bread (usually a croissant) is in the toaster before I even finish ordering. Unlike nearby options of Dunkin Donuts, Panera, or Starbucks, the eggs are fresh and you have several bread options. I have only one complaint- they're closed weekends! read more

In this year have return for a coffee three times. They make a great tasting coffee and nice cookies. It can be busy so I will take my coffee outside and I usually take a seat outside with views of fountain and Plants in the 8403 Silver Spring Metro access. The negative is this area has new security guards employed by other businesses and they stopped me taking a photo of the tree plant which I thought ridiculous, as if to move you on! Not good for business . But i do like their coffee. read more

I have been working in Silver Spring for about a year and a half now, and Little Home Deli is definitely my favorite place to grab a sandwich. The staff is always friendly and speedy. Most sandwiches will cost you less than $7 with tax, and they are always tasty. For lunch I'd recommend the roast beef panini with sun-dried tomatoes and pesto. There isn't much seating inside, but the courtyard out front has plenty of space. For great service and quality food at reasonable prices come to this metro-adjacent hidden gem. read more

The ladies that work here are SUPER nice. The food is cheap. However, the sandwiches that you get are sort of like the sandwiches you would make at home, nothing special. I used to go here a lot until I noticed a cockroach walking near the counter, so I'm not a big fan anymore. The only reason I go there now is for sealed food, such as drinks. read more

For those working in the Metro Plaza area this is a great lunch spot. Before the main option was SoHo Cafe - the level of customer service at Little Home Deli is leaps and bounds over SoHo. It's a smaller place and they don't have a buffet. But the sandwiches and made to order salads they are very decent. read more

The avocado toast topped with a perfectly poached egg topped with Japanese black sesame seeds is my go-to order, and the sandwiches are consistently good. Their cocktails are excellent, and the bar side makes a great venue for private parties or larger gatherings. I am apparently in the miniscule minority, but I find the drip coffee a bit too dark and somehow slightly burnt for my taste. Fortunately, they make an outstanding Dirty London Fog and a wonderful London Fog Chai Latte, either of which I'd happily order instead. All manner of alternative "milks" are available as are a pretty decent selection of local beers in their cooler if you are grabbing take out. Be prepared for a wait on weekends--this is one of Takoma Park's most popular brunch destinations. Like many cafés these days, it's a favorite of laptop-wielding remote workers, so tables can be at a premium. In my experience, though, solo diners are often gracious about moving to the communal table when they notice [or more likely are asked polietly if they wouldn't mind moving] a larger group waiting. It's just one more example of the friendly neighborhood atmosphere that keeps people coming back.

They have traditional Taiwanese and Chinese food like scallion pancakes, sesame balls, beef noodle soup, soup dumplings, etc... Very good variety and there appears to be something for everyone, possibly with the exception of vegan dishes.. - Quality. Pretty good. Their scallion pancake was soft, not too oily, and not too salty. I prefer the scallion pancake to have been a bit more thick and flaky, but that's my personal preference. To be fair, still delicious. Their chive and pork dumplings definitely had a delicious chive flavor. Substantial and the wrapper was not too thick. Their spicy sesame paste tofu had a good flavor and substantive. The chili oil wontons were not too spicy and had a good flavor. It appears most, if not all their staffers, speak Chinese (Mandarin), which was also helpful, because I specifically ordered in Chinese. I asked them about the spice level, because I wanted to ensure it would not be too spicy for my friend. - Price. Pretty good value for menu and portions. - Location. It's pretty easy to find. Also within convenient walking distance to the Silver Spring metro. The inside space is pretty good. Tables can seat a minimum of 2, all the way up to 8. What's Not - Quality. The sesame balls are smaller than I expected. They're the rough approximation of a ping pong ball, maybe smaller. I was disappointed, because I like sesame balls that are substantial. - Service. I specifically asked for soup spoons, because we were eating dumplings. Instead, they gave me regular spoons. Not all the dishes come out in the order you hope. For example, main dishes may come out before the appetizers. This is going to be dependent on your personal preference. - Parking. There is parking near the restaurant, but it's going to be dependent on the day and time. Final Answer Worth coming back.
