This place was great! One of the best rueben's I've ever had. It wasn't dry at all and the flavor was amazing. There are a lot of sides to choose with the combo which is awesome! I tried the potato salad and chili. They were both tasty and fresh. The service was super fast and friendly! We ate there and it was very clean. They brought our food to the table on these cute trays too! I am super happy I found this place and it will be my new go to.

1/3 Pound (NY Style) Reuben Sandwich Very thin slices of rye bread, fat dripping from the bread, bread is toasted but no crunch... Feels like that sandwich was pressed..

This used to be the spot for sandwiches. The Reuben combo was $20-30. The flavor is just okay now and not worth the price imo.

Wow, thought I reviewed this place before. Love the food. Honestly, the best potato salad we ever had!

Absolutely stellar food. It was a cold winter day and I live right down the street & when I tell you this glizzy warmed me up, I ain't lying ! The Russian dressing completed the saltiness of the beef dog and the coleslaw added that crunch I like. 10/10

Corned Beef on Baguette with slaw

Corned Beef King has moved sometime ago, and we finally got around to visit. I placed an order for pickup on my phone and it was very simple (paid via ApplePay as well) and the order was ready in 20 minutes (as the confirmation email advised it would be). My husband was told the order was double-checked and when we got home, nothing was missing and the food was still fairly warm! I enjoyed my Matzoh Ball soup even more than I thought I would. The ball kept its texture and the soup was loaded with shredded chicken, carrots, and celery, all cooked to perfection. Since I had my soup first, I needed to warm up my knish in the air fryer for a bit, and it was simply heavenly. The knish was loaded with meat. My husband and I also split the Corned Beef on Baguette with slaw sandwich. I like that the baguette was given as an option if someone would prefer it over rye bread (I wanted to try something different so we went the baguette route). It was very good, great cuts of meat, and the bread really held its own. It did not fall apart. I appreciated that the pickle was wrapped separately, but still next to the sandwich and the added kraut (free) took the flavor profile to another level. This was pricey for lunch, but we were full and full of quality food. It left my husband wondering where CBK purchase such great meat! The only thing I'd love to see is for CBK to use compostable containers/materials rather than plastic and styrofoam, and I hope they can consider that in the future!

Regular size chili on left & two BOGO chili right. BOGO potato salad container too

Ordering delivery from here. Food is good. Sandwiches huge. Like this place. Beware the buy one get one free promo, however. You do get two of an item & the 2nd is free but you get a size that is half of the regular priced fare. The BOGO is no deal. I got two chilis, two potato salads. Was surprised by the promo that really is not a promo at all.

This is their brick and mortar location in Rockville. Can't say enough good things about this place.... The staff is very friendly and their corned beef and pastrami sandwiches are amazing. The location is nice too.... If you choose to eat there, there's a couple of tables under their overhang and they have some picnic tables on the outside. Although a little pricey, it's worth the cost given the quality.... I'd highly recommend this place! :)

So, we didn't have to worry about anything. We started off with a half of order of onion rings. They were perfectly fried and delicious! There was a very generous amount! Then, we ordered the turkey and avocado sandwich. It was very good. But, the home run goes to the Le Pilgrim. The sandwich had fresh roasted turkey, cranberry-pecan relish, mashed potatoes, cornbread & apple stuffing, herb mayonnaise on French loaf with a gravy dunker on the side. We all ordered onion rings at additional cost for our side and those were very good. Though this place has a following, I wouldn't say I'm dying to return. Its decent, but nothing over-the top to exclaim over.

Although they commented that a pickle slice/wedge accompanying the sandwich would have been nice, since the place is a deli. I got Emma's Protein Bowl, which was a large bowl with Kale, Brown Rice/Quinoa Blend, Falafel, Edamame, Chickpeas, Corn, Cucumber, Grape Tomatoes, Avocado, Black Lentils, Kalamata Olives, and Hummus. I got the Italian dressing on the side. The salad and dressing were good. The kale was crisp and flavorful and the veggies and other ingredients were fresh. The falafel was the one disappointment. The Bowl comes with three falafel balls. Each was hard and dry. There was flavor in there, but the toughness and dryness masked it. I ended up throwing one of the three balls away. Ugh. I gave Bean Bag 5 stars for our first visit and am not going to change the score because of the falafel. I thought about it, but everything else was very good. Parking in the plaza was free. After finding a spot, I walked in and looked at the many choices they had to offer. As I was trying to figure out what to get, the great customer service I got from that point onward was 12 out of 10. I settled on one of their signature sandwiches and got it on a wheat roll since I am not a fan of rye bread. It was called the "Miami Beach Special". Menu describes it as having corned beef, pastrami, and coleslaw with Russian dressing, lettuce and tomato. I settled on the Beanie size and that was still big, but I enjoyed every bit of it. I was informed that everything was made fresh and I liked that. I also got a cup of chicken noodle soup (yum) and a Snickerdoodle cookie. I heard their cookies are great so I couldn't leave without getting one. I sat at one of their tables indoors and enjoyed my meal. I would visit again. There are so many options to choose from.

They also have a small grocery section with imported Italian goods (canned clams, tomatoes, olive oils, cookies, etc) and frozen premade goodies like sauces, lasagnas, Italian sausage, pizza dough, and even ice cream. We ordered a hot porchetta sub, cold cut sub, and homemade pappardelle with pesto cream sauce. The owner helped us choose a "soft" sub roll for the porchetta and a "hard" Italian baguette for the cold cut sub. The food was all very tasty and felt like we traveled to a simpler time where ingredients shine for themselves. The porchetta was tender and flavorful, and together with the soft roll, kind of reminded me of a Taiwanese gua bao or Cantonese charsiu bao. It was incredible and smelled so delicious! The cold cut sub was simple and well balanced, and good with the harder baguette. Lastly, the handmade pappardelle was delightfully chewy and reminded me of Chinese hand pulled noodles. Didn't expect to have such parallels with Chinese food- and I enjoyed reflecting on how different cultures can come to have similar tastes and values. Next time we'll have to try their desserts and more of their menu! Can't wait to come back. Go check out this gem in Rockville, and experience a taste of Italy!

It was packed with large portions of meatballs, that were roasted in a tasty marinara sauce. The roll was fresh and soft. I highly recommend this sub. The Italian sub was good, but it was crying out for a little lettuce and tomato. I know that they offer the sub with a green sauce, but I found the taste of the sauce oily and too parsley heavy. I was really glad I had it put on the side. Other than that, the Italian meats were tasty and the sub roll fresh and tender. Prices were reasonable, it was about $20 for both subs. I will definitely return to get some homemade pasta and that tiramisu that was tempting me in the fridge. Gratzi,Vignola Gourmet.
