Let me tell you, service was amazing. The guy who helped us was awesome. He told us how good his food was and he was on point!!! All the egg rolls were so fresh! They were crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked in the middle. These were some of the best egg rolls I have ever had. You have to try this place out! When you do come, they have official parking sports, a little outside eating areas with five tables, and you order at the counter. It's in an industrial area and there are plenty of signs so you know where they are. It was pretty nice eating at one of their picnic tables with artificial grass. read more

I heard about the eggrollery within corned beef king on instagram. Usually these insta places are meh, but this was anything but that. I'm not even sure I have words to justify how amazing this was. To start, parking was tough. It's in an industrial business center with maybe 2 parking spots for the whole place. Once we figured out the parking, I was still skeptical because it's just a door with a window that opens. But once the window was opened, I was greeted with a very friendly worker helped guide me through the menu. I told them I was there to eat because it was my birthday and the guy told me everything I needed to get. My first bite was the lobster egg roll and I could have thought I was in Maine. It was transcendent. Then I had the pastrami one and I don't even like pastrami, but I liked this! Then I had the Philly and the Texas Twinkie. Both were so true to their name. I finished with the cheesecake one and with a dip of Nutella it was a perfect egg roll end to my birthday treat! By the time I was done they could have egg rolled me away. This hidden gem was well worth finding! It's definitely your next bite to have! read more

It is top of the line deli food. The corn beef, pastrami and brisket are excellent. I grew up in Cleveland where Deli's were highly competitive in quality of the sandwiches. CB King could compete with the best of them, and is superior to it's local DC competition. Lastly, let me give a shout out to it's Matzah Ball Soup. I get take out there regularly. Scott H read more

This place was great! One of the best rueben's I've ever had. It wasn't dry at all and the flavor was amazing. There are a lot of sides to choose with the combo which is awesome! I tried the potato salad and chili. They were both tasty and fresh. The service was super fast and friendly! We ate there and it was very clean. They brought our food to the table on these cute trays too! I am super happy I found this place and it will be my new go to. read more

The cute name does not make this place what you may want it to be. If you want to pay $55 for two sandwiches, two sodas, and about 15 french fries each and order it from - basically - a storage unit in an industrial park, then this is your place. This is NOT a restaurant. There are four chairs inside for people waiting for their sandwiches, and two picnic tables outside - that's it. My main objection is the too-high prices with the storage unit location. A person can get good deli style sandwiches elsewhere in Montgomery County from a place that actually wants to pay rent on a restaurant with heating and seating. I'm amazed the county licensed this place to serve food here. read more

Ordered an "Identity Crisis" - a Rueben with pastrami and coleslaw also in grilled rye. I got the 12 oz to share. This is a good sandwich. The meat is quality, flavor and texture very good. Kraut and coleslaw very good. That said, it's outrageous that they charge as much as Katz's Deli in NYC ($30) selling out of an industrial space in Rockville. At this price it's a once or twice a year treat. 20% cheaper and I'd go twice a month. read more

The food is excellent. The workers are friendly and efficient. So why do I not recommend it? Because when I asked, and employee told me that Corned Beef King management KEEPS THE TIPS put on your credit card. Food was great. Service as well. Took care of our kids with cookies and our wallets with a discount. Great experience!

Absolutely stellar food. It was a cold winter day and I live right down the street & when I tell you this glizzy warmed me up, I ain't lying ! The Russian dressing completed the saltiness of the beef dog and the coleslaw added that crunch I like. 10/10 read more

Corned Beef King has moved sometime ago, and we finally got around to visit. I placed an order for pickup on my phone and it was very simple (paid via ApplePay as well) and the order was ready in 20 minutes (as the confirmation email advised it would be). My husband was told the order was double-checked and when we got home, nothing was missing and the food was still fairly warm! I enjoyed my Matzoh Ball soup even more than I thought I would. The ball kept its texture and the soup was loaded with shredded chicken, carrots, and celery, all cooked to perfection. Since I had my soup first, I needed to warm up my knish in the air fryer for a bit, and it was simply heavenly. The knish was loaded with meat. My husband and I also split the Corned Beef on Baguette with slaw sandwich. I like that the baguette was given as an option if someone would prefer it over rye bread (I wanted to try something different so we went the baguette route). It was very good, great cuts of meat, and the bread really held its own. It did not fall apart. I appreciated that the pickle was wrapped separately, but still next to the sandwich and the added kraut (free) took the flavor profile to another level. This was pricey for lunch, but we were full and full of quality food. It left my husband wondering where CBK purchase such great meat! The only thing I'd love to see is for CBK to use compostable containers/materials rather than plastic and styrofoam, and I hope they can consider that in the future! read more

The don't call him the King for nothing. And the bread? Oh please... I know people who go off their gluten free diets for this divine rye bread... Generous mounds of corned beef married w coleslaw that's not watery so not to ruin said divine bread. I ask my hubby to go to the truck for me so I don't eat it all in the car before I get home. Not to be missed!! read more

Best corn beef in town. Really enjoyed my sandwich. Also, the service was excellent. I highly recommend the place.

Ordering delivery from here. Food is good. Sandwiches huge. Like this place. Beware the buy one get one free promo, however. You do get two of an item & the 2nd is free but you get a size that is half of the regular priced fare. The BOGO is no deal. I got two chilis, two potato salads. Was surprised by the promo that really is not a promo at all. read more

This. Place. Lives. Up. To. Its. Name. The sandwiches are massive. You can't eat a whole one in one sitting. Tucked inconspicuously inside of Liberty Gas Station is where some of the best sandwiches in the area appear to be constructed. I ordered the "Identity Crisis", which was combination pastrami, coleslaw and corned beef -$14. Well worth the expense. Comes with a pickle spear wrapped in foil too placed inside the plastic sandwich container. I changed the bread to an Italian sub roll since RYE and me don't really vibe all that well together. I sampled a plain Reuben + the beef stew and the chili also. Flavorful. The lady at the counter was very friendly and willing to share samples easily. She handed me a plastic spoon/small sauce cup and let me try different things. The sandwiches are NYC Jewish Deli quality almost. Since there's no Katz's Deli here and Krupin's went under years ago, this is the DC area's next best thing. Such terrific sandwiches at an unassuming deli counter inside of a gas station? Yes, please. read more

This is their brick and mortar location in Rockville. Can't say enough good things about this place.... The staff is very friendly and their corned beef and pastrami sandwiches are amazing. Although a little pricey, it's worth the cost given the quality.... I'd highly recommend this place! :) read more

HOLY MOTHER OF THE RYE-TOASTED GODS. The most perfect sandwiches ever formed.... these people are performing a labor of love and it's a gift out of a gas station. The bread is buttery and toasted and earthy. The dressing and coleslaw are bright, acidic, creamy and contrast perfectly with the buttery tender meats - all of which are fantastic!!! I'm so hooked! We got the Cubano and the identity crisis to get a cross section of brisket, pastrami, corned beef and ham. Incredible!!! read more

Ordered a bunch of sandwiches to go and within the first bite of my Reuben sandwich, I was in love. The taste was better than any Reuben I've ever had, and I'm a little embarrassed to say, I gobbled it up within five minutes! I also ordered a side of potato salad and let me tell you, when I say I love potato salad, I mean the kind they make here! Hearty chunks of red potatoes with plenty of herbs, not the stuff drowning in mayonnaise. I'd come back for the potato salad alone! read more

My coworkers recommended this place because I just can't find a good corned beef sandwich in Rockville. I gave them a try for lunch and it wasn't bad. The sandwich isn't the size of some places in NY or my favorite deli in Baltimore, but it is not bad for lunch while I'm at work. For the $20 I wish they have more meat. read more

Love the food but not the location. Corned beef sandwich and potato salad were divine, Better when it was on Rockville Pike.

The food was excellent. I wish the price was a little cheaper, but the Ruben is always a solid bet at the corned beef king.

One day i had a big craving for a delicious reuben or pastrami sandwich! I came across this place and thought id check it out. When i got there, noticed masks weren't appropriately practiced. We got the identity crisis and pastrami sandwich, and didnt think too much of it. The sandwich did not really stand out to me. The identity crisis was pretty thick however the pastrami was a lot thinner, however both are the same price. There was also an incident between staff, where a sandwich was thrown away and taken out to the dumpster. By the context observed, a staff went outside and then appeared with a sandwich, it was safe to assume they had gone to get it from the trash. Which is where i lost my appetite and was thrown off. I just hope they were saving it for themself and not to be served. Cleanliness is important to me, and this place was far from it. Will not recommend! read more

A friend who works in Rockville, Md. who knows I love good, hearty, messy sandwiches recommended Corned Beef King. When I found out it was located in a gas station, I decided I needed to visit, I am not afraid of great food from gas stations. Thankfully Corned Beef King is open on weekends and I had skipped breakfast. The Identity Crisis, is one serious sandwich. Corned beef and pastrami with Swiss cheese, great coleslaw, and Russian dressing on grilled rye was my idea of a great, messy, hearty sandwich. If you do not like to lick your fingers, go somewhere else and leave the messiness to people like me. Jon the owner is the perfect kind of small business host, passionate, hard working, did everything from taking my order to delivering it to the table while engaging every customer who walked up to the counter; small details like bringing a jus to a customer who ordered a brisket sandwich, which I plan on getting on a future visit, really matter. Upon request, Jon also provided samples of Matzo Ball soup and chili, again small details matter, especially from an owner who works on weekends. read more

Delicious. Best corned beef in the area! The other sandwiches are good too! Definitely a must try!

Tried samples of their food at a yelp event a few months ago and decided to check this place out. It's located inside a gas station so drive carefully when looking for it. The cashier greeted us and told us about their awesome sandwiches. I went with the Milly Ann and got it king sized so the portions were pretty good. The corned beef tasted amazing, and the coleslaw/Russian dressing definitely helped the flavor. I also got the horseradish sauce on the side and it was also very good. I might just tell them to sub the horseradish sauce next time for the Russian dressing. I wish it came with chips for the price point but oh well. Overall, the food and service were great and it's a little pricey but you pay for the quality of the meat so it's worth it. read more
