Came for breakfast today. A simple egg white omelette, home fries and wheat bread. Also got a large coffee. The space is pretty small, but there are about a dozen tables for inside eating. I was here about a year ago and the place was pretty quiet. Same today. You order at the counter and then they call you when your food is ready. Food came pretty promptly. The omelette was a nice size, filled with green pepper, onion and tomato bits. The potatoes were well prepared and were not dried out or oily. They really are well prepared - nice sized chunks that are charred on the outside and soft on the inside. A little bit of onion in with the potatoes. The toast was toast, but it was good too. Decent coffee. It's not fancy and for milk there's a choice between half and half cups and Coffee-mate. Refills on the coffee are $1. The place isn't fancy. The woman at the counter (possibly the owner) was efficient and it's nice and light inside. read more

This place at first sight looks, say, a bit less than exciting, but my first visit here cemented my intent to return. Often. I had their Thai chicken wrap and omg it was epic. And that's an understatement. Comes with their house made pyramid sauce. And I'm not giving it this rating because I was starving (which I actually was lol). Go there if you're in the Gaithersburg area or if You just want to go for a ride. You won't regret it. read more

A very affordable, clean, and mellow place to grab a breakfast sandwich. It was empty when I arrived, but as I waited and ate, workers regularly came in to order food. I had an egg, ham, and cheese on wheat, and it was great! Large coffee was hot and tasted good. read more

The best delis are the mom and pop ones. The ones that don't have the grassy walls with the silly neon lights with flowers etc. Don't let the divey or out dated deco full you. If you love a good NYC deli sub, without having to leave Maryland, you're at the right place. Get a nice cold cut sub with all the trimmings. They are too generous with the portions. It took me 1.5 days to finish. Once you come here, you'll forget about Jerseys M, or the dreadful Subway. They say their philly cheesesteak is good, one day I'll try. Friendly staff too. Def recommend! Come here on an empty stomach! read more

The food is ok. Seems like an office lunch place. I got the cheesesteak it was bland. I also got fries which were good a first and then started to get a weird taste on a few. Service was awesome very friendly staff. The place looked dated noting special. I was hopping the food was going to be great, but it was average and nothing to write home about. read more

One of the best places to get Italian cold cut subs. I want to try some of their other offerings such as the turkey and havarti with apple slices. The staff are friendly and efficient. I believe that the cashier is also the owners, she provided excellent service. It's not a big place, but, there were enough seats for the people who were there. Yes, they have a TV. read more

Gyros were only so-so. Maybe fine for a quick bite to eat but not necessarily worth an extra trip.

I read the Yelp reviews before going to this deli. Got a turkey sandwich. Was actually gonna go to Jersey Mike's, but someone's review said, "Once you go to Wow Deli, you wouldn't want to go to Jersey Mike's," so I decided to try it. I went. I tried it. It was cool, but nothing to write home about. The sandwich was on regular bread and not sub. The turkey was thick sliced meat. Idk... Go there, and try it yourself. ...didn't do anything for me. Kinda mad I didnt go to Jersey Mike's like I planned to. P.S. I need more selection of chips. Thats just me though. ...and after 1 extra pack of Mayonnaise, you have to pay a quarter for any additional pack. I like a lot of mayo on my sandwich. read more

Rock solid local gem of a breakfast and lunch spot. I've never had anything less than good here. Most recently, I got a turkey and provolone sub with banana peppers and a Greek salad, both of which were great. The ingredients in the sub were fresh and flavorful, with quality turkey and slightly gooey, melted provolone. It's hard to make a notably good turkey sandwich, but they did it here - I'll definitely be getting this again! Same goes for the Greek salad - again, very good, fresh ingredients, a generous amount of feta, olives, pepperoncinis, and a great dressing makes this another standout. I'll be back soon for these and more! read more

I finally tried this place after working from home for 9 months. Previously, I am always at work while they are open. I have been twice now. Italian Cold Cut- very delicious. Definitely stood up to another favorite of mine at another deli. Turkey, swiss and bacon with thousand island dressing- my boyfriend's all time favorite BLT- plenty of bacon Bacon, egg, and cheese on white toast- love the breakfast sandwich Philly Cheesesteak- wow. Better than I have hoped. It has sweet preppers, not a typical topping, but tasted amazing with it. Great place for breakfast and sandwiches. read more

Solid service and good food. I had the famous Washington cheesesteak and it was very good but I expected more from the portions to match up with the 10$ price tag but nonetheless the cheesesteak was on point. read more

Very nice and cute deli. Don't let the interior deter you from grabbing a bite to eat here. I actually quite enjoyed the food. The first time I had Wow Deli, my coworker offered to grab me some food. I skimmed through the menu and decided on the Grilled Chicken & Pesto Wrap with no tomatoes. It was very good and very filling! The chicken was fresh and I enjoyed it. Because I enjoyed it so much I wanted to give them another try. I was craving something sweeter like honey mustard so I asked if I could customize my own wrap. At first the woman behind the counter seemed a little confused but she eventually let me. I ordered a grilled chicken wrap with provolone and honey mustard. Plain and simple! Although it was very small (my fault) and was only a little filling it was so good! The chicken was again fresh and the honey mustard was delicious! Exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely be back to this deli. It might honestly become my go to work spot. They also have a large variety of drinks and snacks to choose read more

Very reasonable prices items and a nice selection. I had the egg salad sandwich and it was fresh and a lot of egg salad.

This place is an old school solid deli with above average food for the price. Love that it's such a low key spot

Great local business. Great food, good prices. I always end up here for the tuna melt. Owners are super kind and always make us feel welcomed! read more

No frills deli place in Rockville. I can only comment on breakfast and it's your standard fare that delivers what you want, nothing more, nothing less. You would think the Korean owners would have a little smile for their customers. That's why I like Peters Grill, which also is a nondescript deli place like here, but he sure has the charm that makes you want to come back. Here, meh. No tv in their sparse dining room either. Guess they don't want people to linger here. At least the food comes out pretty quickly here. read more

Great costumer service. The Menu is not overwhelming. The food comes out in a good time. If you want something quick and easy, I would recommend. I like the window seat. read more

Grabbed lunch from here with a couple co-workers. It's in a shopping center on Gaither Road that's pretty busy during the work day. The gentleman that took our order was friendly. We ordered chicken fajita wrap and a couple tuna salad wraps. Both were good, but nothing super. We will go again and try something else. They have items on their specialty list that sound good. read more

What a cute deli on Shady Grove Rd! I needed some breakfast while packing a lunch, so I decided to check this place out. I loved their bagel with cream cheese and added ham and egg. It was all in all super tasty and pretty reasonably sized! I ordered a chicken teriyaki wrap to bring for lunch but I wasn't a huge fan of it. My boyfriend tried their Sophia's sandwich and he enjoyed it as well. Price wise, I would say majority of it is reasonable and similar to what other places offer. The place is clean and quick so I would come by again if it's on the way for me to pick up some sandwiches! read more

This is a great local spot to grab a sandwich. I was recommended here and wasn't let down. It was a good sized wrap and a bag of chips for under $10. I ordered the French and it was loaded with turkey. My only recommendation would be to try and get some of the sauce in the middle of the wrap; it was primarily at the ends and dropped out early on. I'm going to definitely come back and try a couple other things. Their meats and veggies tasted very fresh! Keep up the good work! read more

I came to a strip mall deli to buy a scrapple, egg, and cheese sandwich. I expected nothing. The croissant was ... flaky. Buttery. A real croissant?!?! The scrapple was crisped on the outside. Definitely a WOW! A full delicious breakfast (sans drinks) for three for around $20 including tip. Order online and pick up your food hot in about 20min. I have been going to Love Sushi for years (okay almost a decade) and never thought to visit Wow Deli. In my defense, they were always closed when I got sushi for dinner. But boy have I missed out. Everything was cooked to order and breads were buttered before making the breakfast sandwiches, which made things extra yummy. We got steak and eggs, croissant with sausage, egg, and cheese, and a griled cheese (the test of any deli grill LOL). Sandwiches reminded me of they style that Mom's in NOLA would probably serve up. If only they had oyster poboys, which I have not been able to find any in the DMV that compare to those you find in NOLA. Hashbrowns were still on the grill waiting for me to pick up, so they were still hot and crispy! Looking forward to trying other menu items including the few Korean lunch dishes they serve on special! read more

Wow! A very good deli! How have I missed this place for so many years? I got the Turkey Avocado which was very good. Have to say I was mainly impressed by a restaurant that can put mayo on a sandwich without slathering on disgusting amounts of it (like Jersey Mike's, Subway, Quiznos, or what seems like every place these days). Turkey was moist, sandwich well balanced, good flavor all around. The pita was also very good. Onion rings were crisp and not greasy. Kind of expensive ($3.50) for a small side. Looking forward to coming back to try more menu items. Restaurant was clean and well staffed. Service wasn't overly friendly, but was very efficient. I'll be back! read more

For some reason, I woke up wanting a cheese steak. Wow Deli was a place I had bookmarked, but hadn't gone to, so I opted to check it out. Great decision. The food was easy to order, and although I went during the lunch hour (around 12:15) the food was prepared quickly and there was ample seating to eat there. I ordered the 8 inch Washington cheese steak with no onions. The sandwich was huge and the fries were perfect: crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. I was full way before I finished the sandwich. The price was decent too, about $11 for the combo. Also, I love fountain sodas, and this place had Coke with the perfect level of kick and free refills. I would go back. Can't believe I've lived in the area all these years and never been before! read more

Occasion: Grab a quick lunch to eat at my desk This place is almost across the street from our new corporate hq, so decided it would be a good place to grab a quick sandwich for a working lunch. Good call, yay me! Walked in and placed my order to go. The lady at the counter was really friendly and they had a lot of chip, drink, and dessert options around to grab and add. I had the small Washingtonian cheesesteak with no onions and grabbed a bag of chips which I ended up eating during the short wait for my sandwich. Don't judge me, it was almost 2pm and I was starving lol. Sandwich was ready pretty quickly and I was on my way... The sandwich was still piping hot and didn't appear to suffer at all during the 5-7 minute walk back to my office (in the cold.) The bread was fresh, the meat was nicely seasoned and the sandwich had a nice proportion of meat, peppers, cheese, and mayonnaise. I ate the entire thing - those who know me understand that this is a rarity and only happens if I REALLY LOVE what I'm eating. Glad to see that this place is so convenient to the office - I'm sure I'll be back here many times when I'm in town working. Would I return/recommend: YES and YES! read more

Great hidden gem for a quick bite. Very basic decor. Stopped by on a recommendation for a friend. The service is friendly and quick, and the food is good with generous portions. My friend who frequents this spot brought me for the first time in February. I got the tuna melt and he got a cornbeef sandwich with fries. My best friend owns a deli i totally felt like i was cheating on her deli. The food was so good! I am a tuna fiend and it wass mouth watering. I couldnt believe it took me so long to go. I ended up here on accident. I made the wrong turn from the freeway and did not feel like going the other way to Potbelly sandwiches. So since I was craving a sandwich I looked on Yelp for nearby places. Wow deli was the closest to my location in traffic; the reviews seemed ok; so I went with it. I arrived around 3p and it looked like they were closing up since the chairs were turned upside down on the table; but the door said they're open until 4p. I glimpsed at the menu as I was starving and did not want to be too picky. I saw a philly cheese steak on the menu and ordered that. I like my philly cheese steak with meat, cheese and mushrooms; nothing else and they made it just fine. I also grabbed a bag of chips and a raspberry crumb cake dessert. The Philly cheese steak was good. I would go back here if I crave that again. The raspberry crumb cake was good; but cost about $2.50. I thought that was lot for dessert; I can get stuff cheaper at Starbucks... All in all this place is good to try if you want something quick. Based on the other reviews it looks like they have wraps and other sandwiches worth trying. read more

I just tried Wow Deli for the first time despite passing it a million times. I was in the mood for a sandwich and the parking lot wasn't a mess for once so I gave it a try. My sandwich was tasty and was both my lunch and dinner! Two meals out of one, that's always a plus. Service was speedy. Then again I beat the lunch rush. If you can get a parking space during the lunch hour insanity I'm sure they're still pretty speedy. It's the mess of a parking lot that's the problem. The best part? The prices! They're super reasonable. I got the French wrap (turkey and brie) for just a bit over $7. It was one of their more expensive sandwiches as mostly everything else was cheaper in the $5-$6 range. Overall great quality and a good deal compared to the overpriced options in the immediate vicinity. I should have tried this place a long time ago. As for parking, it's usually a mess. Hence why I didn't try this place a long time ago. Their food is definitely worth it. I'd just try to get here before lunch time or after the lunch hour rush. Oh! They also have breakfast. Way cheap (cheaper than lunch!) I think an egg and cheese sandwich was in the $2-$3 range. Anyways, I'll be sure to pop in if I'm ever there in the morning. Seems like a good deal and I trust their sandwiches! I'll be back...so long as I can find a parking spot! read more

This was a solid find while out and about running errands and craving a late lunch. I was impressed with their variety of menu options with a number of freshly made sandwiches, salads and wraps. It took me a moment to decide. I wasn't in a sandwich mood so I opted for the Chicken Caesar wrap and added on a combo of onion rings and a fountain drink, of which I enjoyed a rare birch beer. The wrap was tasty, sizable and filling and there plenty of onion rings, which I thought were breaded and fried perfectly. Although I'm not in this part of town very often and getting into and out of the very tight parking lot isn't easy, I'd definitely stop by again. But only for lunch because they close at 4:00 p.m. read more
