Solid fried chicken and fries! I was a bit skeptical of this place given some reviews I saw online but I think my positive experience came down to what to order. This is a really chicken spot (even though they have burgers) so you're kind of doing a disservice not getting chicken. I ordered a chicken sandwich meal, that came with fries and a drink for $12. Great deal. It was a bit busy so we waited a bit but when the food came it was piping hot! It also comes with their signature sauce and the garlic pepper sauce. I didn't love the signature sauce but the garlic pepper sauce is like crack, I poured it all over my sandwich and the fries. It was a really solid sandwich. The only downside was the seating inside isn't great. There are a few high top seats near the door and another table with chairs toward the back. It felt a little cramped no matter where you sat. It's definitely more of a grab and go vibe, but the seating would be fine if it was an off time of day. But that won't stop me, I'd definitely go back! read more

Really enjoyed our meal at Nash & Smash. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Tiny venue with limited seating, not the best place to hang out and eat but you can in a pinch. The classic bull burger was loaded with flavor. Surprised to see others say the burgers were flat, they were much bigger than I was expecting the double patties were stacked. It was very flavorful, juicy, and combined with the fixings was delicious. I would definitely come back for this again. I've had better Nashville chicken sandwiches. Ours was dry and hard to eat. The cabbage is raw (not a slaw) tasted kinda bitter and wasnt cut thinly. Perhaps the honey butter buzz offers more moisture? I'll try that one next time. When Nash & Smashed first opened I was very excited. The staff and manager were very friendly and gave good customer service. Plus I enjoyed their smash burgers. However on my last visit, I tried the Triple smash burger and suffered a severe case of food poisoning. It was painful and debilitating. And after sometime I recovered but the damage had been done. I have been passing this spot for a while now on my commute home. I am so glad I gave them a shot on their 1st week open. With the place that has been waiting to open for over half a year, you expect it to be busy during your first week and they didn't disappoint. They had so many orders when I came in. For the record, I placed a online order in advance. I told him I arrived, and I was greeted with a smile and kind attitudes from the people that work there. They started their cooking my food and I waited. I had some unfortunate bad luck when someone else took my order by mistake. The workers there and I assume the manager on duty was very apologetic. And I totally understood. It's their first week and they're working at the kinks and it's okay. They gave me a dessert and a free non-alcoholic me he took for my troubles. As for the food, my family and I got three different smashburgers. I got the farmhouse Burger which was so good. My wife got the beast. She loved it. My son got the bowl and he loved that. We all love the waffle fries (they tasted better than Chick-fil-A waffle fries). My wife did say the mac and cheese wasn't that good though. We are definitely going to come back here to try their other food. I would highly recommend coming here. But when you do, expect there to be a wait until they at least work out their kinks/hire more workers. And please be kind to them. read more

Finally opened, and I'm super disappointed. Their shtick is overly salty and very flat patties. Pickles were some ancient brand. I thought the overall burger was pretty tasteless despite being smashed to a grill which normally develops a lot flavor. Soggy and uninteresting waffle fries. I don't think this is just a style issue (I like 5 guys), I think it's just not very good. Burgers are more or less than the sum of their parts, and Nash & Smashed doesn't have the right formula. Mady was wonderful. She was patient with us as it was our first time and she took her time with recommendations and taking our orders. The food was excellent and the portions were huge enough that two teenage boys could not finish their portion. We got the honey buzz and beast and they were all delicious. the French fries are well seasoned and at the right temperature. We had to take out because the space was not big enough to dine in. Nash & Smashed serves a decent smash burger. Another reviewer complained that the patties were thin but that's what a smash burger is! It was a bit on the salty side but made to order and juicy. I found the waffle fries to be fresh and crispy on my visit. The service was fine but might be significantly slower if they were busy. There is a sign stating that wait times for your order can be 10 to 35 minutes, so ask if you are in a hurry. You can also order online. The ambience is bright and clean but it is rather small. I will be back to try the fried chicken sandwich, which you can get plain or with varying spice levels from mild to extreme. read more
