BurgerFi -- Silver Spring, MD My chicken sliders were so fresh and HOT, which is always a win. The onion rings, however, were the real stars of the show. They were freaking delicious and absolutely HUGE!!! I'm pretty sure one of them could have fit around a tree. I couldn't finish a single ring, let alone the entire boat they came in. The regular fries? Meh. But the sweet potato waffle fries were excellent and definitely the better choice. They also have beer available if you like to wash your burger down with some suds. I went in a different direction and tried the special Orange Creamsicle milkshake. I loved the idea of it, but sadly there wasn't much actual orange flavor happening. I'd probably go with a standard chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla next time. Service was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant itself was perfectly fine. Nothing fancy. it has that Smashburger/Shake Shack kind of vibe. Overall, a solid casual burger stop. And those onion rings? Order them. Just be prepared to feed the leftovers to your entire table. read more

I was excited to visit BurgerFi in Silver Spring on Friday, September 18, for National Cheeseburger Day. I'm a longtime BurgerFi fan--I love the burgers, and the chicken tenders are good too--so the buy-one-get-one-for-$1 deal seemed like the perfect opportunity to treat myself. I ordered two burgers around 8:45 p.m. and got home about 9:05. When I started eating the first burger, I encountered what appeared to be gristle or tough pieces in the meat and had to spit out four pieces. I also noticed that the patties seemed thinner than I remembered, which made me wonder if the product had changed. The second burger was even more disappointing. It had been stored properly, but after warming it for 30 seconds in the microwave just to take the chill off, it was extremely dry. I called the restaurant and spoke with Josiah, who told me to bring the burger and my receipt back. I did exactly that. When I arrived, I explained the situation to the assistant manager and asked if I could get chicken tenders instead of another burger because, after that experience, I didn't want another burger. Instead, I was initially told they would make me another cheeseburger. After I said I didn't want one and that I would reach out to corporate, the district manager was contacted and ultimately approved the chicken tenders. I appreciated getting the replacement, but I had to specifically ask for a sauce. What bothered me most, though, was the hassle. I paid for two burgers. When I brought the quality issue to their attention, I was told they would only replace one product. This was a quality issue--not an attempt to get a free meal. Yet I felt questioned and made to feel as though I was trying to get over on the restaurant. I came back in good faith because I was a loyal customer and chose BurgerFi over plenty of other burger options in the area. I shouldn't have had to feel like I was inconveniencing the restaurant by bringing a legitimate quality concern to its attention. I gave BurgerFi an opportunity to address my concerns directly, but seven days later, I'm still bothered by how the situation was handled. I even tried to find a customer-service number today so I could follow up, but couldn't find one. It's been a week, and I'm still bothered by the experience. BurgerFi has my attention now--but for all the wrong reasons. When I bring a quality issue to your attention, I should feel heard and respected--not suspected. Unfortunately, this experience has made me question whether I want to spend my money at BurgerFi again. read more

What is up with their buns? The buns literally disintegrated into my fingers. Why does it not hold? Is it a cheap product? It totally ruined my experience with my burger. My burger patty was great, bacon was okay, sauces were tasty, but it's just the bun that sabotaged me from liking this place. I'm sorry BurgerFi... please change your buns and maybe I will come back! read more

I was craving a burger soooo bad and I was at the commas food all first but the one establishment that sold burgers were out! I walked right on over to Burger Fi and boy am I glad I did !!!! I ordered the Yes,Chef Burger! Caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles and Fi sauce!!! DELICIOUS! My only complaint would be that my burger wasn't hot. Other than that it felt good to eat somewhere with hormone free, antibiotic free meats. They had a great selection of burgers, fries and shakes. I'll be returning to try the truffle fries and a shake. read more

YESSSSS a darn good burger that I didn't have to make myself. We ordered delivery from BurgerFi this week and then ordered it AGAIN 2 days later because it was so good. The onion rings are the size of my head. The burger came hot and delish- and I can only imagine everything would've been that much better in person. I am ALL about this spot and can't wait to try every burger on their menu! read more

As a native Texan, I am shocked and appalled. The atrocity you see below is the "Texas Style" hotdog. At first I thought they simply forgot the chili, but upon further inspection, there is in fact a tiny layer of "chili" under what I am assuming is melted velveeta. God save us all. read more

Steven at the National Harbor MD location is wonderful! Always has a smile of his face and is so helpful!!!

Went with the Rodeo Burger: Angus, Charred Jalapeños, Pepper Jack Cheese, Crispy Onions, BBQ Sauce. Unfortunately the burger is cooked "well" and is a bit dry. Seem like it wasn't made fresh even after a 10 minute wait. Service was great and they even had the basketball game on. read more

Excuse the bite, I couldn't help it. I went for lunch today and got the bacon cheeseburger. This was one good burger. I was skeptical because of the reviews but I had to see for myself. The restaurant is family friendly and the service was pretty good. It's a good place if you want to sit and eat or take your food to go. They have plenty of space. There is a parking garage a block away. Check them out. read more

BurgerFi is a chain that I was not acquainted with until a recent stay in Silver Spring. Always in the pursuit of a delicious burger, my partner and I decided to try it one night. Overall, it's a decent burger, smash burger style, fries were thick and tasty. It's a little on the pricey side, but this is one of those fast food meets fast casual dining establishments that serves beer, so the higher sticker price is understandable. Venue sort of reminded me of a Shake Shack, but with a slightly more "take your time" vibe. Service was OK, the employee we dealt with wasn't very polite or friendly, but did bring our food to our table. Regardless, it's a decent burger that's worth a try. read more

I like their burgers and atmosphere in and outside the restaurant that have patio seating available. The service was good and quick. Last night, a friend and I ordered the online special-2 burgers, 2 drinks and 2 fries for $22. Sounded like a good deal, right? Unfortunately, the burger I had was completely dry and flavorless. A fast casual place with typical fast casual fare and service. The veggie burger was surprisingly very good

Great burgers, specially the CEO, worth every single penny. Great customer service, the guy with the ponytail, Bryan. He was super helpful and always with a smile, can't wait to go back. They had flags in the restaurant, specially with the World Cup being played, great vibes. read more

BurgerFI is a place that I would walk past when taking my walks DTSS for many years, but for whatever reason, I would not go inside as much as I love a juicy burger, and now I see why I would walk past and hesitated to try the food. I believe that the best part of the meal was the fries and custard shake than the actual burger itself. The burger was dry and flat as a pancake with no savory, juicy taste to it. The branding of the business name on the burger, although unique is not something that is essential. I understand businesses want to stand out from one another, but what will help is the actual flavor and taste of the burger itself not the branding on the burger. The taste and flavor of the burger needs to be improved. The customer service was pretty good and solid, but I would like for the cashier to project his voice louder and be more confident. He and the team were helpful and did provide pamphlet menus and ensured we had food timely, but the cashier should speak up. (Fans are blowing and other background noises, so it helps for him to speak louder.) I have not tried chicken sandwiches or fingers here, but I would stay away from the burgers here. They were a bit expensive (Five Guy like prices) without anything to write home about. Nothing stands out just generic. I can cook a juicy burger myself, but when you are out and about you do want to eat out at times to save washing the stovetop, pans and other dishes out and constantly cleaning up the kitchen. (We all need a break from that) Please let's step our game up here with the burger flavor and taste, and I think we will have something more substantial here. I might comeback to try the chicken tenders and sandwiches, but not the burgers. the sides (fries and custard) are the best part of the meal not the actual burger. Custard was very well done and were the fries! I would certainly recommend either as snack as perhaps the Blues or Jazz festival downtown. read more

If you want a Beyond burger, go somewhere else. I've been a vegetarian for many years, and I really enjoy the Beyond burger patty. I ordered the burger for delivery today, and the patty was NOT a Beyond burger, which was very disappointing. Instead, I believe it was the Morningstar grillers. After being vegetarian for so long, it's very easy to know this. It doesn't even look like Beyond. This is clearly a ripoff, as Beyond is much more expensive to purchase than Morningstar (and a better taste in my opinion). So this restaurant is ripping off customers. And if you're not vegetarian, the Morningstar Patty isn't very good--or at least not worth the cost of buying it at a restaurant for 15.00 when you can get four from the grocery store for 7.00. read more

So disappointed! We ordered BurgerFi for the first time after a long day. I paid extra for grilled onions on my burger, and they didn't add them. We paid extra for truffle fries and cajun fries, and we got regular, cold fries. The food was decent but there are plenty of great burger restaurants out there that will actually read your order. Will not be ordering again read more

The food is exceptional. My go-tos are The CEO burger, Oreo milkshake, chicken tenders, and urban style fries. But the management's lack of regard for their customers is appalling and the reason I may never go back. In the 10 years I have been coming here, I never encountered so many issues as I have over the last year. The store no longer has a phone number, there is no manager on site, and the staff are helpless when it comes to customer issues. Today, I tried to redeem a gift card in store. The staff told me they don't have the ability to do that and to use the app. I told them I tried, so they tried with me and alas, nobody was able to redeem the gift card. They handed me the card of the Regional Manager of MD & VA, Charles Wagner, and said to call him. I did. His number is no longer in service. I stood there in disbelief. A supervisor came out and said there's nothing he can do. I should try to email him. This is the last straw for me. The time before that, I ordered delivery through the app and the driver never delivered the order. I had no number to call and the general email went unanswered. I never received any acknowledgment or refund. So I am sitting here with $35 in gift cards I can't use and nobody who will help me. If Charles Wagner returns my email, I will update my review. In the meantime, customers, beware of this place. read more

It was a good burger, pretty poor service, we waited 45 minutes for 3 burgers and 2 frys and the food wasent worth 70 dollars

The food did not look as good as the pictures. The burgers were not as big and juicy as the advertised. It was just okay.

I stopped in here to grab a quick bite to eat. I've been meaning to try it for a long time and just never got around it. In some ways, I wish I hadn't bothered and let it remain a mystery. This was a very disappointing experience. I ordered their Texas style hot dog, cry + fry, and water. The hot dog was basically cold. Even the cheese and chili. I'm not sure how that can even happen, but it did. The onion rings and fries were good. The fries were the hottest part of my meal. The rings were only lukewarm. It'll be a long time before I go back. read more

Absolutely delicious burgers. I can't believe I hadn't tried this place before. I ordered the CEO burger (minus the tomato bacon jam) and an order of the onion rings with the parmesan, parsley, and garlic aioli. Wow.... The burger was absolutely fantastic. Juicy and cheesy and flavorful and just amazing. The onion rings were double-fried, but were perfectly crispy. Not too crunchy, not too soft, and best of all they didn't fall apart when you bit into them (I hate when the onion slides out of the onion ring when I bite into them. That defeats the whole purpose of onion rings.) The garlic aoili was absolutely out of this world. A fantastic addition to the burger and the onion rings. The menu contained a lot of delightful options and I can't wait to come back and try the concretes. They're a single-serve portion of ice cream and cake layered like a parfait. I've got my eye on the red velvet flavor. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and created a great atmosphere. I look forward to my next visit. read more

Stopped in earlier to redeem the $10 TriFri deal - to celebrate 10 years of BurgerFi! You can get a cheeseburger, fries, and a draft beer (but if ordering take out, you a soda instead). Well, that was not the case here. On my phone, I showed the cashier what their website stated and asked if they were honoring the deal, he initially said sure then asked another employee, I'm assuming a supervisor, and then told me no since they were a franchise location and it won't be allowed there. Um....ok! I decided to go ahead and order anyway since I was already here and hungry. I ordered a BurgerFi burger with a regular side of fries. Took about 10 minutes to get my food. It was ok but to be honest, nothing I was wow'd by. I've had much better and cheaper at other places! For $14...ehhh! Not in a hurry to come back here! I might check out another location. They are allowing indoor dining up to 25% capacity. At the time, there wasn't anyone dining in. Mostly take out orders. I observed all the employees wearing masks! Again, not overly pleased with my experience here! read more

The price, service, and cleanliness at this location are ALL subpar. For starters, by the time you get a (single patty) burger, regular fries, and a shake, you could have a sit down meal at one of the nearby restaurants. It's more expensive than five guys for fractional portions. The service is also very poor. About four staffers walked TO the register and away while we waited to order. Once someone finally took our order, I had to repeat my order back at least FIVE times and she STILL left off an order of fries. The tables and chairs were visibly unclean and a staffer had an attitude (rolling eyes, having to be asked to wipe the seats) when asked to clean. Now for the quality of the food... more to be desired. We ordered 3 of the same burger & they all had different patty sizes; the smallest patty was half of the bun. One burger had bacon on it after I asked several times for no bacon. The burger with the smallest patty had a minuscule amount of sauce. When asked for more sauce, an employee argued about how much sauce she put on the bun. The cheese fries were lukewarm and the cheese sauce was flavorless. The onion rings were the best things on the table and I would honestly get those again (at another location). read more

The hamburger was mediocre and was overly marketed as being something that you would have a fear of missing out if you didn't purchase Was tasty but $15 it was the going rate for what price food and restaurants are now in Silver Spring If I could give a lower rating than one I would The biggest issue I had were the bathrooms specifically the bathroom access code The bathroom access code was a combination of numbers and letters was overly complex to use I really have a problem with you needed to use the access code to get out of the bathroom. This is very dangerous. If someone were to find themselves in the bathroom and didn't have access access code, they have to bang on the door until one of the staff would get out and effectively imprisoning them in a man trap ( sorry I'm not using gender neutral language. It's just too awkward.) I know some of the clientele in the general public can be a little rough and difficult to deal with, but you need to strike a balance between public nuisance behavior, and personal safety Please consider simplifying your access code and not requiring an access code to get out of the bathroom. This looks like the lawsuit, waiting to happen. There was a fire or an emergency someone could be trapped and able to escape. This is not necessary for the security of your staff or for the customers. I'm wondering if this is fire maybe not a violation of your occupancy permit read more

Well it's been a while but I finally had to get a burger. BurgerFi was just the place to satisfy my urge for a burger. Staff: front the time I entered the door the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had the feeling that they really liked each other and their jobs. Ambience: Nicely lit with ample seating. Even on a busy day you should be able to have a seat. There is even seating outside. Inside is relatively "groovy" music. Also there is a flat screen tv playing a Disney movie. Great idea for when you bring in kids. Food: I had a Baconian. It's a beef and pork blended burger. Strips of bacon and some type of sauce. It was really good I just say. I just wish that each burger had a "one patty" version, two patties is just too much for me. Drink: this place serves beer!!! Woah I didn't have any but I did have orange flavored cream soda. They have the fancy soda machine that allows you to blend flavors with multiple brands of soda. Dessert: I was too damn full for dessert. Perhaps next time. I'm definitely coming back. read more

I came all the way to Burger Fi to be disappointed. At a time you could order a vegan burger, they no longer have that. They now have a falafel burger but they cook it in the same grease as the chicken. The fries at one time had a dedicated fry basket that did not share grease with meat, that has changed. So disappointed. If I could do a 0 I would. read more
