BurgerFI is a place that I would walk past when taking my walks DTSS for many years, but for whatever reason, I would not go inside as much as I love a juicy burger, and now I see why I would walk past and hesitated to try the food. I believe that the best part of the meal was the fries and custard shake than the actual burger itself. The burger was dry and flat as a pancake with no savory, juicy taste to it. The branding of the business name on the burger, although unique is not something that is essential. I understand businesses want to stand out from one another, but what will help is the actual flavor and taste of the burger itself not the branding on the burger. The taste and flavor of the burger needs to be improved. The customer service was pretty good and solid, but I would like for the cashier to project his voice louder and be more confident. He and the team were helpful and did provide pamphlet menus and ensured we had food timely, but the cashier should speak up. (Fans are blowing and other background noises, so it helps for him to speak louder.) I have not tried chicken sandwiches or fingers here, but I would stay away from the burgers here. They were a bit expensive (Five Guy like prices) without anything to write home about. Nothing stands out just generic. I can cook a juicy burger myself, but when you are out and about you do want to eat out at times to save washing the stovetop, pans and other dishes out and constantly cleaning up the kitchen. (We all need a break from that) Please let's step our game up here with the burger flavor and taste, and I think we will have something more substantial here. I might comeback to try the chicken tenders and sandwiches, but not the burgers. the sides (fries and custard) are the best part of the meal not the actual burger. If you want a Beyond burger, go somewhere else. I've been a vegetarian for many years, and I really enjoy the Beyond burger patty. I ordered the burger for delivery today, and the patty was NOT a Beyond burger, which was very disappointing. Instead, I believe it was the Morningstar grillers. After being vegetarian for so long, it's very easy to know this. It doesn't even look like Beyond. This is clearly a ripoff, as Beyond is much more expensive to purchase than Morningstar (and a better taste in my opinion). So this restaurant is ripping off customers. And if you're not vegetarian, the Morningstar Patty isn't very good--or at least not worth the cost of buying it at a restaurant for 15.00 when you can get four from the grocery store for 7.00. read more

The food is exceptional. My go-tos are The CEO burger, Oreo milkshake, chicken tenders, and urban style fries. But the management's lack of regard for their customers is appalling and the reason I may never go back. In the 10 years I have been coming here, I never encountered so many issues as I have over the last year. The store no longer has a phone number, there is no manager on site, and the staff are helpless when it comes to customer issues. Today, I tried to redeem a gift card in store. The staff told me they don't have the ability to do that and to use the app. I told them I tried, so they tried with me and alas, nobody was able to redeem the gift card. They handed me the card of the Regional Manager of MD & VA, Charles Wagner, and said to call him. I did. His number is no longer in service. I stood there in disbelief. A supervisor came out and said there's nothing he can do. I should try to email him. This is the last straw for me. The time before that, I ordered delivery through the app and the driver never delivered the order. I had no number to call and the general email went unanswered. I never received any acknowledgment or refund. So I am sitting here with $35 in gift cards I can't use and nobody who will help me. If Charles Wagner returns my email, I will update my review. Absolutely delicious burgers. I can't believe I hadn't tried this place before. I ordered the CEO burger (minus the tomato bacon jam) and an order of the onion rings with the parmesan, parsley, and garlic aioli. Wow.... The burger was absolutely fantastic. Juicy and cheesy and flavorful and just amazing. The onion rings were double-fried, but were perfectly crispy. Not too crunchy, not too soft, and best of all they didn't fall apart when you bit into them (I hate when the onion slides out of the onion ring when I bite into them. That defeats the whole purpose of onion rings.) The garlic aoili was absolutely out of this world. A fantastic addition to the burger and the onion rings. The menu contained a lot of delightful options and I can't wait to come back and try the concretes. They're a single-serve portion of ice cream and cake layered like a parfait. The price, service, and cleanliness at this location are ALL subpar. For starters, by the time you get a (single patty) burger, regular fries, and a shake, you could have a sit down meal at one of the nearby restaurants. It's more expensive than five guys for fractional portions. The service is also very poor. About four staffers walked TO the register and away while we waited to order. Well it's been a while but I finally had to get a burger. BurgerFi was just the place to satisfy my urge for a burger. Staff: front the time I entered the door the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had the feeling that they really liked each other and their jobs. Ambience: Nicely lit with ample seating. Even on a busy day you should be able to have a seat. There is even seating outside. Inside is relatively "groovy" music. Also there is a flat screen tv playing a Disney movie. Great idea for when you bring in kids. Food: I had a Baconian. It's a beef and pork blended burger. Strips of bacon and some type of sauce. It was really good I just say. I just wish that each burger had a "one patty" version, two patties is just too much for me. Drink: this place serves beer!!! Woah I didn't have any but I did have orange flavored cream soda. The wait is also inaccurate, so we typically order ahead for takeout. The vegetarian and chicken options make it an easy sell for our friends who go without red meat and want a junk food fix before/after a movie. The Breakfast All day burger is a solid pick from their core menu, less heavy than the similarly tasty CEO burger. For limited edition menu items, we missed the Chicago Kobe dog, but enjoyed the sweetness of the cornbread "arepa" bun in the Street Stack. I'm glad they bothered to toast their hot dog buns, since the NY style dog was otherwise as plain as expected. I went to the Alpharetta, GA BurgerFi yesterday and ordered two burgers. This place used to serve good burgers before. But yesterday I was utterly disappointed. The food did not taste good. Both the burgers had funky smell. The service wasn't that great. I noticed that one of the employees was cleaning the tables with a certain cleaner, and then used the same cleaner on the drink fountain (including the spout). Even the drink (Coca Cola) didn't taste like Coca Cola at all. I don't think I will be ever going back to this place again. read more
