Everton at this Jersey Mike's location was quite good. Food was as expected. Quick service and location clean. No Disappointment.

Representing 2020 in alphabet series of runner-ups to out of town picks for local DMV, J is for Jersey Mike's. When I lived in Wheaton, I used to go to my local Jersey Mike's in 2019-2020. Sandwiches are always very good whether I got turkey, roast beef, or other. Customer service was at least decent here. I like my current closest location in Russett, MD (3569 Russett Green [Laurel mailing address]) even better, which I'll eventually give a 5-star review to (unless they end up falling short by the time I get around to reviewing them). read more

I have to show some love to the tried and true, A1 since day 1, ever faithful...Jersey Mike's. There's nothing spectacular about them, it's like most of the other stores that belong to this chain. What I appreciate is the consistency. The rosemary focaccia bread is dense enough for all the fillings, and won't get soggy right away. Not even during transit if you choose delivery. The meats are tasty, toppings fresh, and they always provide a generous amount of napkins. Tasty. Dependable. Affordable. They also have a bowl option that's perfect for when you want all the taste without the carbs. Solid choice in you're in the area and craving a sub. read more

Love their sandwiches and different types of cheesesteaks in particular. Sure it's not Jim's or Joe's or Pat's in Philly or Capriottis but for a good national chain it is wonderful. Never ate or picked up here in person but ordered from this location to our apartment Downtown Silver Spring all the time. read more

Ordered a Veggie Sub as a delivery order. Jersey Mike's is not Jimmy John's. Because they're my favorite sandwich shop, the bar is set pretty high in my book. Their veggie sub was alright, filled with lettuce, tomato, onions, peppers, and cheese. The bread was soft, and the veggies were fresh with a nice crunch from the green pepper. However, I was not impressed by the lack of flavor. They need a special sauce to enhance the taste. Even a little salt, pepper, or vinegar might do the trick. read more

Not impressed. Waiting along with 2 other people for pick up orders. No one called out names / no one asked for names. When customer asked how much longer to wait, it turns out all 3 orders have been sitting there for the whole 12 minutes we were waiting. Sad. Had been good service in the past. read more

Once again, we went to Jersey Mike's and we were vastly disappointed. The Sub rolls, and the wraps are STALE. The Cheese was hard and stale. They put so much lettuce on it, to disguise the lack of filling. Lettuce should be a garnishment, NOT the main course! Very little filling, even though we paid for extra. read more

Jesus, workers need to work in their attitude, very rude and unprofessional, + the wait time for an order is crazy, at least they should let you know their hospitality with a little joy, but it seems like they always in a bad mood. Been coming here for years I noticed that change. read more

Delicious Subs/Great Service! I visited (12/29/18) for quick meal & try a new sandwich. Great sandwich and helpful staff ! No issues just a nice lunch . Line moves quickly -

The subs are delicious and packed. If you like meat its sliced to order, if you want veggies they have them. Hot or cold. The staff is always friendly. The subs are reasonably priced. I have tried several different subs both steak and cheese options, italian cold cut, and the chicken sub. All of them satisfy. The place has seating and 2 TVs. A Pepsi station(not behind the counter). Also brewed tea. The place is always clean, no messy tables or floors. If your in the neighborhood, stop in. Parking is plenty, no meters. Happy eats! read more

I have loved Jersey Mike's for a long long time. I was very excited to see a location pop up right by my family's house! The kids who work here are always super funny and energetic. So nice to walk in to, you feel like you're at a neighborhood deli. I appreciate that so much about Jersey Mike's. Wherever you go, you feel great coming in. The sandwiches? They can't be beat. Fresh ingredients, crispy bacon, the vinegar on top! Those are the ingredients for a perfect sub. Thanks for being around, Jersey Mike's. read more

I came here on a Tuesday night with my fiance. This location is close to Wheaton Mall and super easy to find. There was a line of about four people ahead of us, but the staff were great with getting us in and out quickly. I ordered the Chipotle Cheese Steak to go, which comes with grilled onions, chipotle mayo, cheese and steak. The order was prepared quickly and the staff were friendly. I liked that I could see my order being made. You can add additional toppings to items already on the menu or build yourself a custom sub. I didn't add any additional toppings to my order, I just ordered it without the onions (NOT a fan of onions). I liked the sub, they did not skimp on meat. My only gripe was that there wasn't enough sauce and it was not spread evenly through my sub. Other than that, I was happy with my meal overall. I would definitely come back here if I was looking for a quick, cheap bite to eat and I was craving subs :) Parking situation is great, huge parking lots shared with multiple retailers. read more

I ordered a #43 and subbed the White American for Provolone. When I arrived back home, I realized while eating the sandwich, that the wrong cheese was used. I drove back to the store to ask for another sandwich to be made. The person on the grill's name was David. He instantly said I was wrong and that the cheese used was Provolone and continued to be rude and whisper and snicker like a child while remaking the sandwich. I opened the sandwich in my car and took a bite and I was in fact, RIGHT! You can literally taste the difference! Customer service is trash. read more

Ordered a ham and cheese and a grilled chicken wrap and wound up tossing them in the garbage. 'Sliced grilled chicken' was just a dry, tough chicken breast unsliced and covered in a watery ranch sauce with some buffalo sauce. Loosely covered by a tortilla that didn't really 'wrap' anything. The sub was slightly better, with decent toppings covering up cheap pressed ham. Stay hungry, find something better. read more

I am praying that I will make it home before my stomach cramps up and I pass out over from eating their disgusting cheese steak. The cheese was too gooey and almost soup like texture. The bread was too soft and soda not enough flavor. On the bright side the Doritos weren't stale . If you want a great steak go to Michael and son's on Randolph road read more

Came in for a bite for lunch with a friend. People working there were nice and friendly. Order was taken quickly. My friends cold sub was prepared quickly and I didn't have to wait long for my hot sub. In facts as soon as he was done assembling his sub mine was done. We got 2 fountain drinks. I was pretty excited they had lemon lime Gatorade. The only down side is the table we sat at wasn't wiped off which fine I can do myself. And it was $23 for 2 subs and 2 drinks which is a little pricy for what it is but damn if it isn't delicious. I'll return for sure. read more

I needed a snack for the Game of Thrones premiere. I ordered the largest stuffed cheesteak they had. It was "huge". Stuffed in wheat bread, steack, cheese, bacon, mushrooms, and green peppers and onions. A hardy meal for a hardy show. I have a weird thing for Jersey Mike's in that... I love it. I'm sorry, I know it's not a great local business. It's part of a larger chain... but I'm sorry. They're just doing things right there. I think the bread is delicious. There's many different types of bread that usually get on subs. Super duper hard crusty bread: *Does anyone know the name of a good oral surgeon? Bread that has absolutely no taste: *Please let me know how you extracted that much flavor out of this bread... and where that flavor went? I'd like an order of that other dish please. Bread that is so soft it can't retain it's shape: *You might have well ordered a sub bowl... cause your meats and cheese are gonna be on the table. Jersey Mike's sub bread is delicious. It doesn't have a hard crusty exterior, it's more soft, but it retains it's shape well. It has enough body on the inside to soak up sauces and condiments. It's a solid bread. The reason why Jersey Mike's is so good though... and I've thought about this long and hard. It's because they slice their meats fresh to order. Every freakin' sub, they are slicing each meat to order. That mean's if you order the complex Italian sub... they are literally switching out 5 different types of meat on the slicer, and slicing them each fresh to order. It makes ALL the difference. It's a nice thin slice too that melds well with the rest of the ingredients. I'm partial to the turkey and provolone sub with lettuce, tomato, mayo, bacon, and pickles. ... so much so that I've only tried one other thing; the tuna fish ( which is made in house daily). The tuna fish was good... just a little too much mayo for me... but that's bound to happen. I feel like no two people on earth like their tuna fish the same way. It's like a food thumbprint. But yes... Jersey Mike's is delicious, it's fast, and honestly; they train their staff well. 90 percent of the times I've gone, the staff is friendly, and always has a sense of urgency. They are always figuring out how to do things quicker and hopping into each other roles to make the line go quicker. Did I mention the prices are great too! They "giant" turkey and provolone sub is like 13 bucks and is easily enough for two meals. I usually get a giant one and have half for dinner and eat the other half for lunch the next day. I love it... I got me some "shore points" too. I'm a big fan. read more

They receive 1 star for being totally unorganized and rude. There is this woman with an accent who is interfering and confusing everyone, she yells and is not understandable. The place for pickup orders is not where the sign was, I waited for my pickup up time and the order wasn't there and then they said you have to go up front and I waited at least 15 minutes before asking again for my order. They couldn't locate it. I requested a refund, I was told to go back to where the pickup orders were and they said you have to go back to the front. I said I just came from there to the guy who told me to go back to the front. That rude person came and said I am not yelling and I wasn't talking to you, she said you had chicken sub I said no, she threw a bag at me across the counter. She is lucky it didn't hit me. I said I want a refund and she refused. She said we don't have to refund anything.I started a dispute about the charge. Don't do online orders with these people. Order in store and order will be prepared in front of you. read more

I was desperate for some food when I stopped in for. "Philly" cheesesteak. Being from Philadelphia I am always fearful of ordering a cheesesteak outside of the Philly metro area but as I said I was pretty hungry. Fortunately Mikes came through. The Cheesesteak was pretty good for Maryland. Still need a better Steak roll but At least you called it a cheesesteak and not the typical backwards MD version of Steak and Cheese. I would like to recommend this place to my Maryland friends as a passable version of a cheesesteak but unfortunately the place was so dirty that I was wondering what else I might get with my Steak. The grill was so nasty that I almost didn't order (but again risked it due to hunger). The cook didn't clean the grill before she cooked my steak but scraped it during...interesting technique to say the least. Then on to the ice tea dispenser....no lid....what else was swimming in the tea??? The floor behind the counter held the remains of the days work...ever think to push a broom through? The picture does not do the level of filth justice... Steak was decent but I'm not sure I can return unless the cleanliness improves!! read more

Came in and the entire place was packed! I went during opening day with a coupon - free sub with a $1 donation to a charity. I wanted a hot sub but the coupon was only for cold subs - which by the way was not mentioned on the coupon. The wait was long for obvious reasons but the food was great. I had the turkey breast cold sub with tomato, lettuce, red wine vinegar and olive oil blend, and banana peppers. It was so good and so fresh. They're meats they cut on the spot. They have a slicer which they use when you place an order. The meat is placed back on the case ones they cut you a few slices. The hot sub however took forever to cook. Since there was a long line the sub did not come out maybe 10-15 minutes later. Since you had to wait for the hot sub, you had to wait in the lobby. The seats are limited so the best option is to stand you don't take the seats for people who are dining in. For my second time eating Jersey Mike's I just ordered online. Ordering online is fairly easy - probably the easiest process ever. You just pick the location then place your order. You pick the size, the bread, the toppings, and whatever extra things you want. I had the sub in a tub this time - it's basically like a Chipotle but with sub ingredients. I liked the idea because it was easy to eat and if you are watching your weight, you get all the sub toppings minus the carbs from the bread. read more

The sandwiches are so good. Love Jersey Mikes. We stopped at this Jersey Mikes in Wheaton last Saturday April 1st. It was 8:33 pm when we walked in. There was a very nice guy mopping the floor and chairs were up and caution take up to go to the back as in using the bathroom or eating in. We asked if they were closing and the young lady making sandwiches said yes soon but it's okay with not a happy tone and was grumpy the whole time we were there and while she was making our sandwich. My husband asked to go to the bathroom. The guy cleaning the floor hesitated and then said sure. The young lady said you let him use the bathroom? He said yes. So they don't close until 9. Shouldn't the testy be available until then? We were so take back by the young woman's attitude. There was another guy behind the counter. He stayed out of it. The guy cleaning was trying to make up for the young woman's attitude. It's too bad we love Jersey Mikes but we're so put off by the way we were treated. read more

I like their subs, and the service was fine, but $15 for a large sub? That's outrageous. Like, if that were my total bill for the sandwich and a drink, or with Chips, I wouldn't complain, but they expect me to drop $20 in there for lunch? None of their sandwiches are that good. Never coming back here again when Filippo's is not only better, but the pricing is more in line with reality. read more

We stop here approximately once per month. On our most recent trip, we got three subs in a tub to go. The roast beef was rare and tender, and the tuna salad was fresh tasting and delicious. I have had the turkey wrap and the chicken cheese steak and the food is consistent and good. I have had the wrong cheese a couple of times, and once they forgot the bacon, so make sure you have the correct ingredients. The staff is friendly. It is also nice that they offer gluten free subs in a tub and GF sub rolls, however, there is a lot of cross contamination so not for celiacs. read more

The service is great however the sandwiches are just okay. I ordered the turkey and cheese and a chipotle chicken cheesesteak. The cheesesteak was cooked correctly however the bread was stale. Don't you hate when a place slowly slides until it's no longer worth visiting? I used to be a huge fan and a regular customer, but regular failures have pretty much changed that. The first incident involved finding half a plastic glove in my sandwich. How does that happen? I don't know, but it was rather unpleasant. Seems like you'd notice half your glove getting torn off and entered into a sandwich, but not here. Second incident was tonight. Ordered a sandwich and proceeded to witness the 3 employees try to quietly argue amongst themselves about who was going to have to make it. Come on, team, the "Not It" routine just really isn't that appealing, even for a Joe Job. Good luck, guys. It was a good run. read more
