From Scratch is a food truck serving Serbian/Balkan food made from scratch by the Serbian chef. My favorite is Cevapi. It is a sandwich with four links of beef/pork meat sausages, Serbian cream cheese, special tomato sauce, red onion, cabbage, grilled red bell peppers (if you request 'everything'), in a home made Balkan bread. It is $11+tax but it is worth the money. I enjoy every bite of it. It comes with a small bag of potato chips. The traditional choice is cheese curds and gravy, but they also have various vegetable and meat toppings. Their smoked meat (tastes similar to corned beef) is also very good (tender and full of flavor). They also have steamies (hot dogs), chicken tenders and Montreal style bagels and pastries. This outing I ordered the Jacques platter (French fries with slices of smoked meat), a tourtiere (beef pie) and sausage roll. All very very tasty. The meat pastries were buttery and flaky with generous amounts of meat. The Jacques platter had piping hot crisp fries and thick slices of that smoked brisket meat.

I had them void the sale and return my money. Why do businesses insist on charging junk fees that are inexplicable and completely unjustified? If I had known ahead of time that they were charging a service fee I would've been able to make an educated choice whether to dine there. They could've had a sale and happy customer assuming their food was good. But I won't be back no matter how good their food is because I don't like being charged undisclosed Junk fees.
