Forks had a strong chemical smell and the mayonnaise had a weird consistency (not smooth, but almost a gelatinous look). One of the worst locations. I ordered Door Dash from this location and the restaurant said they never received my order even though I got a confirmation. I called Door Dash and explained that my order was never picked up cause it was never made. Door Dash called the restaurant and asked them to make the order since they are in partnership with this 5 Guys location but the employee refused. Update as of June 2020 Now accepts delivery and curbside pickup. Please be sure to add the Five Guys app on order to receive these services. The app itself is pretty easy to use. However, please note that payment must be entered in the app as there is no option to pay thru cash on the app. However, service is pretty clean and quick. Once you create your order on the app, you will receive a text message that will ask you to notify them when you are driving to the restaurant and you submit a separate button of when you arrive at the restaurant. Our order came out nice and hot. We ordered two burgers and a side of Cajun fries. I wished the app would allow you to modify the seasoning level, but it currently does not allow you to do that. The burgers and fries were separated into two bags and had 1 big bag that carried our entire order. The fries are perfect with ketchup and the burgers were fresh and not too greasy. Well worth checking out this restaurant. Please be sure to wear a face mask. Also, the restaurant is very clean. Right after I ordered, I remembered to ask for the fries crispy, and since there was no one else in the place, I just ran up and asked the guy on the fry station, and he said that was okay. This place rules! Unlike the Five Guys on the pike (next to Chef Geoff's) this place has excellent customer service and are prompt with their online orders. I had a complicated deconstructed burger order and they got it done right and ready for me the minute I walked in at the exact time they said it would be. It was also packed in such a beautiful way. Who thought keto burgers can be beautiful? They even packed the mayo on the side without asking and a fork, knife, and napkins. How considerate! I went to the one in Germantown, I used to go quite often but not anymore, the whole crew is African American, no problem with that, but every time I ordered and did not give a tip the man looked at me angry and said something to the others and they gave me that look. I used to be a waiter and a tip is something you earned waiting on tables, if you allowed tipping just for cooking a burger you are promoting panhandling. I placed an order today with Five Guys through Uber Eats and the order came to me incorrectly. I told the Uber Eats guy my order was missing the fries. He told me to contact them, so I did. I was could I come and pick up my fries I said NO I am at work. I paid for food to be delivered. So I asked the Uber Eats guy to return my order he told me he could not. I then called Uber Eats consumer line at 833-275-3287 they told me I would be charged for the burger I told them I did not want it without the fries and asked for it to be return. In general, this is a typical Five Guys. It differs from most in one way: they have a selection of milkshakes (though I can't rate them; I have not actually ordered a shake here). But the burgers and fries are pretty much the same as at any other Five Guys location. I must say, though, that at this location today I got a smaller portion of fries than I've gotten at other Five Guys locations (and also smaller than I remember getting here on previous occasions). They have two soda machines that provide lots of different options, such as have shown up at other places like Noodles & Co., for example. I don't know whether other Five Guys locations have also gotten these machines because it's been a while since I've eaten at another Five Guys location; however none of them had gotten this type of machine when I last ate there. Soggy French fries with dirty skins, bacon that has been sitting around all day and literally leaves a bad taste in your mouth (often enough just the old crumbled pieces at the bottom of the pan), tepid "sauteed" mushrooms... I could go on. Their success is based purely on marketing. Nothing wrong with that, but it would be nice if the food actually lived up to the hype. Also, I note that it is given one "$" sign on Yelp. Sorry, but for fast food, definitely not cheap. It is not under $10. On the plus side: The place is clean, if a bit self-congratulatory, and the staff is super friendly. What can I say. Five Guys is the best hamburger place we have in the east coast. There's a lot of competition in the west which we don't have here. Service is always amazing. Food is bomb! I always get a hamburger with lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise and some fries. If I go with my family we get one regular size fries and that's enough to fill us up! I barely finish a small on my own due to the quality they give which is a lot. The milkshakes (which are not sold in every store) are delicious. Try the cookies and cream with whip creme. It's pricey but so worth it. You definitely pay for what you get. Posting this review at night is making me hungry. Sounds like five guys for lunch tomorrow!! read more
