Hikers Harvest Burger - chickpea and quinoa patty with cucumber salad and tzatziki sauce. Side Caesar salad - 4/5

I was extremely impressed with this restaurant as we tried it due to the amount of variety and gluten free options for my niece. All staff were extremely polite The vibe was ranch style ( I know it's in the name) but extremely clean The food was very delicious! The burgers were flavorful without being dry. The pastas were creamy and my kids ate it up without a problem. The salads were large and had very fresh ingredients. While it is on the pricier side, most of these locations are...but you don't always get what you pay for. In this situation, you definitely do!

We came here for a family dinner on a Tuesday night, and it wasn't too busy, which made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. I ordered their signature burger, while my family tried the salmon and fajitas. The burger was honestly one of the best burgers I've had in a while, no joke. It was juicy, flavorful, and cooked really well. My family also had great things to say about their dishes, so everyone left happy with what they ordered. The service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal, and the restaurant had a really nice, comfortable atmosphere. Overall, we had a great family dinner and would definitely come back.

Bully Ranch has great food and drinks. It hails as a casual dining restaurant but when we first arrived, I totally felt underdressed. The decor has an upper class, lodge-like feel (beautiful fireplace, exposed wood beams and rustic floors) and the diners were dressed in very tailored and tweedy country wear. Our waitress was very friendly and took our orders swiftly and we were served our meals in the same respect. Their pizza is made in a stone fired oven and is delish (get the Margherita). Also, I definitely recommend their tomato soup for a lighter dining option. Located at the Sonnenalp Vail, around the corner from valet.

Great casual eatery & bar providing Southwestern dishes in a cozy space with a seasonal patio right in the heart of Vail!! The food was delicious and the service was excellent, I highly recommend this spot!!

We had a great meal at Billy Ranch and they got us in without a reservation and on the patio! Our serve was super friendly and attentive. Overall a great meal! I had the salmon, which was light, fresh, and well prepared! My husband had the shrimp with mango salsa. Kids had a burger and mac n cheese. All were great! Love the location and the patio is cute at night with the string lights.

Highly recommend! This is a cute restaurant with an old school mountain feel. I was looking for something different in Vail and came across this restaurant on Yelp! So happy we decided to eat here. We started with the nachos which were INCREDIBLE!! Highly recommend. I then had the burger, which was so good with the tots (which were not overly truffle). I thought the quality of the food was absolutely incredible for the price. 4 of us walked out for a decent price for Vail Village. Big shoutout to our server Chad who was AWESOME! He was attentive and friendly and didn't miss a beat. Lastly - there's a huge TV at the bar if you're looking for somewhere to catch a game.

Oh, burger, you're more than just a meal, You're happiness wrapped, a love I feel. A feast for the senses, a joy I crave, Forever your flavor, my heart's willing slave. Wow this place was busy! And WORTH IT. Make a reservation. Because if you don't, you may never get to experience the burger and truffle tots. And then what reason would have to get out of bed ever again? There were other things on the menu.... But why? Get the burger! Any burger! Good mocktail selection too! Parking tip is to park in front of the bank after hours. That saves you some coinage to also get the brussel sprouts.

Really awesome place to grab some dinner after a day in the slopes! The chickpea burger was the only thing I was craving and it did not disappoint! They were also able to accommodate our very large party effortlessly!

Had a great dinner here. It's attached to the Sonnenalp hotel. I ordered a shrimp pesto pizza which was absolutely phenomenal, and my buddy had a fried chicken sandwich- it was huge and made lovingly with quality ingredients. Comfort food but made really well, so much better than a couple of other recent places we tried in Vail.

We literally had a terrible time and couldn't stop talking about it the entire time we were there. We tried to order the burger and replace the pimento fondue with a slice of cheese. Waiter had no problem with it, and I bet that's ridiculously easy for the kitchen to do, especially because they have other menu items that have cheese slices in it (e.g. grilled cheese on the kids menu). But I guess some manager dude woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning and decided that he needed to go on a power trip. He personally came over to our table to say that they will not replace the cheese. And then he had the nerve to ask us why we don't want the pimento cheese. Does everyone have to like the flavor of pimento cheese? If I owned a business and one of my staff did that, I would have fired that person on the spot and given them advice to change their line of work because you can't fix or train out that sort of lacking judgement.

Had one at the bar while waiting for our table. Highly recommend! As for appetizers, the whipped feta is my favorite, dotted with chili sauce and garlic honey - and topped with a dramatic dome of crackly bread. Definitely order one for the table. Then the Fava Bean Agnolotti, so rich that the tiny portion made sense. And then the filet. We ended by splitting the sticky toffee cake with rum sauce, brown sugar rum ice cream and peanut brittle. Incredible. Service great and unrushed. A great experience.

I have been here many times over the years but my recent visit was by far the best! We started off with the whipped feta appetizer, which was very big and definitely shareable. The feta was so smooth and creamy and paired well with the cracker and honey. Next I had the filet mignon. This was out of this world. Filet was so tender and delicious. It would have been great on its own but the sauce was delicious along with all the accompaniments! It was a very thoughtful meal. Others in my party had the halibut and lamb and both were amazing! We did not have dessert this time but I have had the sticky toffee pudding and it's amazing!!! The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because one of the halibuts came out a little cold. This place is expensive, so be prepared but honestly it's so good o can't even get mad at the price!

Only four of us were there as the other two were across the street at Christy's returning their rental skis. There was a table of 6 but the hostess said she couldn't sit us until the other two arrived. Right then, a guy walks up and asks for that same table. He was by himself and she gave the table with six chairs to him. His full party was clearly not there but she sat him anyway. Why is that allowed? Clearly favoritism. And to be clear, two of his friends showed up and the other three never arrived. So, at that point we told the hostess we were now a table of four and she said we could sit at a table that had 3 chairs. Well okay....we took it. We grabbed the table and asked other tables around us for the extra 3 chairs and everyone was nice enough to give us the extra chairs. Our server, Suzanne was excellent. Very attentive, friendly and immediately brought us our drinks and food. The nachos were tasty. Drinks were good but pricy. I give Suzanne 5 stars, food 3 stars hostess 0 stars. Treat everyone fairly and respectfully. The hostess could use customer service training.

As anticipated, the place was gorgeous...with a slightly formal air. Given that it was in the Vail Village (near the ski slope), my husband was able to enter the place in his rugged ski suit. Despite the ambiance, it was a bit dead. I was disappointed with the lack of French music overhead...though maybe it was on so low, I didn't hear it? There were plenty of breakfast-brunch options, but on the menu, some items were noted as taking 20 minutes (which we didn't have time for!), so I was a tad bummed about that. In any case, my husband chose this Huckleberry Bacon French Toast, and I ordered the Maryland Crab Benedict. For drinks, we both just ordered plain coffee. As expected, the foods were good. I was more impressed with my husband's choice, this super-fancy french toast. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted spectacular! Mine was good, but disappointing at the same time. I really liked the Crab Benedict, but I only half-liked the side salad (basically just Arugula with a few Walnuts and Figs). The total bill for these items ran over 100 bucks... which, was to be expected in Vail. However, for such a pricey breakfast, I felt that I should have absolutely loved it...but it felt short of that. Overall, I just expected a bit more from this breakfast experience. Again, the decor was gorgeous, but the ambiance wasn't fully there (because of the lack of music?). Service felt a bit short-skimpy as well. Foods were good, but mine especially (Crab Benedict) felt a bit lacking. Let's just say that I've had Crab Benedicts as just as good for half the price...and with better sides. Maybe lunch or dinner experience is better here? In any case, am glad we checked out the place...but I doubt I'll choose it for breakfast again.
