This review is likely not going to add additional value or point out anything not previously mentioned (by others), however I wanted to share my experience and perspective on the take out (pickups). It aims to identify good, the okay, and (obviously) service staffs. This is an average review (of dozen orders) placed on-line and serval call-in orders. In general, the wait time estimated for orders to be ready is on target. Unfortunately, several times scheduled time orders placed too early is "lost". For example, we placed an online order at 3pm for 5:30 pickup. A couple incidents, the kitchen had to looked for the order and prepared the order while we waited. This defects the purpose of pre-order/pre-schedule. I do have to give kudos to the cooks for reading notes! Every reasonable requests (e.g., extra sauce or breads) were followed. The food is good but the price point is high. This is probably to cover the cost of being a brick and mortar business. Frankly, I would wait or look for coupons prior to venturing into Bucca. The GOOD (1) Spicy Chicken Rigatoni - Not spicy but seasoned wonderfully. (2) Chicken Parmigiana - The chicken is lightly battered and topped with chopped cherry tomatoes. (3) Prosciutto Stuffed Chicken - The pesto sauce is divine. The AVERAGE (should skip) (1) Salmon Sorrento - Not worth $42 for 3 small servings. (2) Green Beans - Way overpriced for side order of lemon stir-fried green beans. (3) Baked Rigatoni or Cheese Manicotti- Too much cheese and not very flavorful. The packaging is always great. The only downside are the to-go drinks -- the lids are flimsy. Needless to say, by the time we got home. Those drinks content spilled inside the cupholders so make sure you have wipes to clean up. read more

I attended a birthday celebration here for my niece. There were 16 in our party. We were seated in the Pope area. The atmosphere is very unique. I'm always curious where the art comes from. Our server was very sweet, fun and attentive. I wish I remembered her name. Although she was great, there were a couple of items that weren't available due to supply issues she said. It wasn't really busy which was also nice cause we have been here when it's busier. That is why we opted for a Thursday dinner vs weekend. My fiance and I shared the baked ziti. For those not familiar with the food portions, they are family style and each entree can feed up to 3 people. The baked ziti was THE BEST I have ever had. We couldn't stop talking about it for a few days. The dessert platter is worry it too to share with a large group. It came with a chocolate cake, cheesecake and a strawberry type cake. Everyone loved them all. Especially the strawberry one. There was also a photographer that came around and took pictures for you to purchase. Very fun evening! read more

I respected that. Halfway through our meal, the lights flickered and someone screamed "MEATBALL TIME!" Suddenly, a parade of servers marched by holding a giant spaghetti noodle like a sacred relic. My grandma cried. No one knows why. The chicken parm whispered ancient secrets to me. The breadsticks? Sentient. One tried to crawl off the table but I caught it and dipped it in marinara like a civilized person. Would I go back? Absolutely. But only if I bring a compass, a translator, and a goat named Larry for good luck. 10/10 would get lost in the bathroom again. read more

Be sure you will come with family or friends, and the most important thing is NO DIET... they serve large portion so, it's worth the price, worth the wait and worth the company! Service is good, now slow just knew that they tend to get busy, so 1x reminder will be lovely! 2x reminder just show your hungry face, who knows it might help! The pizza is good, the kids loves it! The trio is the gem!!! The spicy shrimp is top notch! For a spicy lover like me, you will love it! The mozzarella is good as well, it suits pretty good with the spicy shrimp! The fettuccine Alfredo, even for a 3 adult and 3 toddlers it's still a lot! We packed it for to go and it's still fresh the next day!!! Win Win! We love it! First of all I want to start off by thanking Jannet our waitress for giving us the best service we've experienced at this location. We've been here a few times before with the service being average since it always feels like the staff caters more to the bigger parties than the smaller families who come in to eat and spend their hard earned money. Anyways going back to the experience we had with Jannet, she greeted us right away and was very attentive. Our 3 year old loves being the center of attention and she acknowledged him right away and got him involved throughout our dinner. We had a long day and were craving pasta and were iffy about coming back here but we will be back again and asking for Jannet because of the little things she did. As a GM in the restaurant business this is the quality of employee I would be grateful to have employed at my restaurant. Kudos again to Jannet for going the extra mile and making sure we had a great dining experience this time around! If you plan on stopping by I highly recommend asking for her. We came here a few times and the food is good but if you are celebrating birthday, be sure to ask some dessert. They have a promotion for free brownies if you are celebrate birthday. Terrible service by mgr Vet and hostess Faith. The hostess dropped the menus on the floor and she won't clean them. This happened right in front of people including us waiting to be seated. Then she picks them up and didn't wipe them at all.My husband complained to her and all she did was give my husband a dirty look and threw the menus on our table. Very rude people. I sent my complain to the corporate office, but whether they care or not who knows but at least I posted my complain on Nextdoor, Instagram, FB and now on Yelp. People like those 2 don't deserve to have jobs where they have to interact with people. Busca is a nice restaurant, nothing wrong with the food, but If we ever go back we hope there's a new mgr and a more polite hostess. read more

This post is to share the wonderful experience my family and I had celebrating a 40th birthday at Buca di Beppo in Brea. Our group was about 40 friends and family members. The location was nice and intimate, the food was hot and tasty, and the service was incredibly attentive. We even had the sweet cannolis for dessert. Our two servers ANDREA and ALDO were especially, nice, professional, efficient, and attentive. They are worthy of commendation for how good they were, making the restaurant look so good, and making our dinning experience exceptional. For that, we are very appreciative.
