This was by far the worst waste of money. The clam chowder was the worst I've ever had. It tasted like flour and milk with a few small pieces of veggies. Never saw or tasted a clam. Salad bar was plain, the taco bar was out of tortillas for over 20 min. I finally had to ask for some. After they brought them, I opened the lid and they were in a plastic bag that I had to empty out. Tongs were behind the plastic container so I had to put my whole body under the cover to reach ch them. Definitely not worth your money and had I not been dying to get out of there I would have asked for a refund. Never again. read more

Well what can I say? I shouldn't compare but the Sizzlers in my home town are much much better than this one. Being a party of six, the front counter service was quick and personable. The restaurant appeared clean but the minimal employees in the dining room looked rushed. That could be because there was a large party in the banquet room. The food in my opinion lacked quite a bit. The soup selection was nice but the beef veggie was empty and the clam chowder was too salty and thick like glue. The salad selection was okay. The hot food selection was questionable. The flour tortillas were non existent even though there was a container for them, the chicken wings were hot inside but the outside was rubbery and the mini corn dogs were cold. The best part was the first round of cheese bread it was crunchy and delightful but the second round was a soggy mess. When there was a lull in patrons the manager was seen counting registered tickets with a grim look on his face. As a recommendation, maybe he could visit tables and ask how things are. Something that wasn't asked by our waiter. Sorry Sizzler, this visit was not positive. read more

I have no complaints about anything, it was Saturday 1 day before Mother's Day so it was quite busy but that did not affect the service at all, they were very nice and came by often to give us clean plates and bowls. The food was great and when the brownies ran out I just asked them if more were coming out and they immediately brought more out. Clam chowder was good as well as the chicken noodle soup. Kudos to the Sizzler marketing team as my daughter convinced me to go after not going to a Sizzler for over 30 years. Now I remember why.... We went last night around 7:30 and the restaurant was half empty. There was a lady who barely spoke English who was manually taking orders on a paper/pad of people in line I assume to help the line move quicker. The problem was either she didn't understand me, or the cashier didn't understand her writing - I ordered steak and unlimited shrimp, she put down steak and jumbo shrimp. It's weird, you order at the counter, then carry a tray with your drinks back to your table. I haven't had to do this since the last time I ate at a cafeteria. The food took over 20m to arrive and was God honest one of the worst meals we've eaten in a VERY long time. My steak was maybe 4oz at best and I ordered it medium - it came out EXTRA well done. The meat quality is VERY poor - felt like I was chewing on a piece of chuck steak. My daughter ordered steak and lobster and the lobster had the poop sack literally hanging off the edge! My son ordered ribs and chicken and the rib meat was gray. I never got my unlimited shrimp but because the food took so long to arrive and was such terrible quality, I left it alone. We spent over $80 for the 3 of us (not including tip) for this lousy excuse of a dinner. This is the last time I ever go to a Sizzler again. read more

We stopped by Sizzler today for lunch, arriving right as they opened--11 a.m. on the dot. I had my eyes on the salad bar, my mother was craving a steak, and her friend joined me in enjoying all the fresh options from the bar. There's definitely an upside to being one of the first people in: everything was fresh, crisp, and untouched. The restaurant was clean, quiet, and calm--a nice way to start the day, (or in our case end it since it was the stop before nap time). The salad bar was almost perfect... though I did miss seeing the broccoli salad that's usually front and center. Still, I enjoyed everything I tried. The mini tacos are really good in the salad bar along side the nachos I made myself. Now for the downside--when my mother placed her order, the woman taking it (Marisol) seemed a bit impatient. My mom was just trying to decide how she wanted her steak cooked when Marisol snapped, "It's either medium well or well done--that's all we do!" It felt unnecessarily rude, especially considering both of my lunch companions are in their 70s and 80s and just needed an extra moment. Thankfully, my mom didn't really catch the exchange, too busy making her way to the table. When the steak came out, it was well done--overcooked for her taste--so she ended up sending it back. Aside from that hiccup, the meal was fine overall. The salad bar saved the day, but the customer service could use a little warmth and patience. Will we be back? Sure, Sizzler will always hold a special place in my heart as it was my very first job as a teen back in 1993/94 and I always do really enjoy the salad bar and all its offerings. read more

It's not the good old days - smaller menu, smaller salad bar, but what it's offered is still good. Steaks and burgers are well prepared, service is speedy, staff is polite. Nostalgia makes me want it to be the way it was, but it's still a good causal place to got for a pretty good steak that won't cost an arm and a leg. read more

Malibu Chicken, baked potato, salad is what I always order. Food items that should have been delivered hot to the table were not. Salad was okay as it should be cold. The ingredients that make up the sauce for (Malibu chicken) tasted watered down and bland. Drink order was an ice tea, waitress brought to table with the long spoon inside the glass (should have not been inside but on the side). There wasn't any desert to speak of except (chocolate, vanilla) ice cream (tasteless). Not a dining experience worth repeating. I won't be revisiting anytime in the future. read more

It's been a few years going to a Sizzlers since our local restaurant closed. So out to Fullerton we went. The greeting and service was great! The food for the most part was good. The salad bar spread had a lot of items to choose from. The dinner buffet was decent all except two things which I will get to in a moment. The buffet included spaghetti with meatballs, taco bar with toppings, fajitas, rice, beans and orange chicken. The two items here that were not very good was the fajitas that were very salty and the taco meat did not have flavor at all. It was bland tasting. Yeah these two were total opposites. One over salty and one tasteless. I hope that is not the case next time we go. The dessert bar was simple but good. There was chocolate and vanilla ice cream with chocolate and caramel syrup bottles. Toppings included sprinkles, crushed Oreos & nuts. A tray of brownies was brought out too and those were good. Back tracking to the greeting & service. Employees were very friendly and ready to serve. It was very nice to have our tray of plates and drinks carried to our table for us. There is a bit of a discount for Seniors and your drink is included in the price. It was a nice surprise. Would we go again? Absolutely yes! The only fallback is the distance to this Fullerton location is about 35 minutes away. A big difference from the one that used to be less than 10 minutes from my house. I have always liked Sizzler, but the quality can be inconsistent, dependent on the site. I visited the Fullerton site in 11.2025 and genuinely enjoyed my visit. The steak was cooked to perfection, although the skin on the baked potato was a bit leathery. The salad bar items were fresh and varied and the cheese toast was legendary, of course. Another guest and I had a laugh because they offer to take your order before you have both feet through the door, so it feels a bit like meeting the Nerd at a party who immediately starts telling you how cool your shirt is. But, they were happy to wait while I looked at the menu, then immediately took my order and offered to carry my tray to a table. The table service was also terrific -- accurate, responsive, but not suffocating. My order was completely correct and the food was very good. I did wonder, though, what Sizzler makes all of their sites use that makes every Sizzler restroom smell the same: somewhere between unclean and the cheapest cleaning products on the market. It's a very unpleasant smell and, as I say, is in every Sizzler I have ever visited -- so I am assuming it's their cleaning supplies. But, I plan to visit this Sizzler again and can recommend it. read more

On our way in traffic and found a spot we hadn't been to in a very long time. Our old location was closed many years ago and we hadn't been since. So the dining room was clean, but a bit dated. Salad bar looked scrumptious and the pasta and taco bar did as well. The menu has since changed since we last ate here, but my bf opted for a burger and i for the salad bar and we can say it did not disappoint. Definitely was worth our money. The service.. I have to say Julia was phenomenal! Very attentive, friendly and just all around pleasant. Was great seeing that so many people knew her by name. That says a lot. Either she's very helpful or they just go there a lot. Doesn't matter, she made our time very pleasant. I have been eating at Fullerton Sizzler for a lot of years and if anything the food has improved in quality and taste over the years. The Senior plate for 6oz Tri Tip steak, baked potato, ice tea and salad bar was under $20. The steak tasted better than Summit House, Lucille's or Outback--all of these at twice or three times the price of Sizzler. The employees seem happy and I have seen the same faces for years. The best food and the best price for steak in Fullerton is Sizzler. Who would have thought? read more

They gave me the senior discount and I didn't even have to ask. Service was quick. I had the lobster and steak but if you want rare don't say medium rare. They even give us extra napkins so nice. The manager Ray allows needs better customer skills, got brushed off when I approached him. He said he was busy ringing up a customer. Apparently he allows a regular customer to bring his small dog. It's not ok when the customer brings it to the buffet and allows it to sniff the food. I gave them 2 stars because our waitress was good, otherwise 0 stars. read more
