So good!! I'm a huge fan of Wahoo's! My husband now is too. I've been to other Wahoo's locations in the past. This was my first time eating at this location though. I placed an order on Door dash, because I was feeling lazy. lol The food arrived hot and fresh. I liked the packaging a lot. The containers have little areas for each item, so it wouldn't mix together. The rice had its own place, and the beans did too. Perfect! It prevented a sloppy mess lol To-go packaging makes a big difference. I ordered the potato tacos and those were amazing! I loved the crunchy taco shells! The potato inside was soft. I added guacamole and they were some great tacos! I would order the potato tacos again. 10/10 The shrimp quesadilla was probably not the best with delivery. The tortilla was a bit soggy when it arrived. That just ruined it for me. I can't do soggy tortilla lol Nope! The flavor was there, and it had lots of shrimps. The shrimp was cooked well and not rubbery like some places. I'd order this again for dine-in only. 8/10 My husband got a burrito, and it was huge! He handled it though lol Said it was a solid Surf and Turf burrito, and that he would order it again. 10/10 I also ordered the tofu, veggies and rice dish. That is great! This Wahoo's was participating in a fundraiser to help those suffering from the LA wildfires. They were donating 20% of all proceeds that day to the LA food bank, so I ordered lunch here for pick up. This one is located in downtown Fullerton, so just be aware that parking isn't the best. I luckily found a structure close by with some public parking. I ordered a Loaded Salmon Bowl with an iced tea to drink. Pick up was easy and my food was ready upon my arrival. My food even stayed warm during travel. The salmon was really tasty and flavorful with a soy sauce glaze. It also came with aioli that brought some much needed spice and substance to the dish. The salad was great since I got it loaded so it came with guacamole, corn, cheese and sour cream. I definitely recommend it! A solid place to stop by in downtown Fullerton if you're looking for a quick, fresh bite. I ordered the citrus slaw burrito with shrimp although I wish I ordered it with fish instead. It was still delicious though particularly because of the citrus slaw. They must some magic in that. I tried it in the protein bowl too and it elevated it so much. Our order was simple. Fish taco and nacho cheese with beans and chicken. It took a very long time ~20 mins considering there was only 1 person before us. When the nachos arrived, nachos were chewy and a bit cold. The creamy cilantro sauce made it taste a lil bit better. Fish taco was small for $5, greasy and the tortilla was falling apart. Their fish taco used to be real good and it's nowhere near the taste I remember having last time. I know it's been years since we've been here. The place looks way cooler than last time we were here. But I have to say the smell by the fountain drinks was foul. It smells like sewer tbh. I had some water and I just had a sip because it tasted unclean. Service was ok. Our server forgot to bring us our utensils so we had to pick it up at the counter which we didn't mind. Parking was easy. There's a parking garage nearby. Lived in the area and stopped by many times,but my recent stop will probably be my last. I can't remember it ever being cold in here during the summer time. Dining in is so uncomfortable because of the heat. I saw the thermostat and went to check the temp and IT WAS 88 DEGREES inside. I'm mainly writing this review because I discovered the potato tacos (they are new on the menu), and I can't believe I hadn't tried them sooner. I have been craving crispy tacos filled with potatoes for about a month now (because I had some from HomeState in LA earlier this year), but I couldn't find a restaurant that made them like I wanted. We waited over an hour when they were slammed and they wouldn't update us on how much longer it would take. They kept telling us "soon" only for it to continue to take forever. I just wish they would have warned us how long it would take before we ordered, because we had a toddler with us that had to use the restroom after waiting for like 30 minutes, and because of their new Covid policy, we couldn't use the restroom. So we ended up driving home so she could go, then driving back to get our food, and it STILL wasn't ready. To add insult to injury, I got a salad and the avocado had a big gross bruise on top. Well, I must say the people there are as terrific can be. Very nice and friendly. The seating is surrounded by lots of surfing and other fun things used by seaside locals at one time. You could see this place along an ocean boardwalk. The food is always good when we come there. I usually get fish tacos, rice and beans. But the last time I was shocked though I shouldn't be.
