I have to say that we had a wonderful time eating some scrumptious food! Everything was prepared to our satisfaction and tasted absolutely delicious! My daughter (my Princess) had Birria Al Vapor which were seasoned perfectly. She really loved her dish! My wife (my Queen) had fluffy Waffles with tasty scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. She was totally satisfied as well! I had the combination Flajitas Flat Iron with tender chicken breast meat, juicy sautéed shrimp, and moth watering steak. My meal was Bomb!! Both the Flajitas and the Birria Al Vapor came with rice and beans as well and were quite filling! Lagos gets an A+ for the food for sure!! We were fortunate enough to have Rene Gonzalez as our waiter and he took excellent care of us. He was pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. He took his job seriously and seemed to enjoy every minute of what he was doing. He kept our drinks refilled and ensured that we had everything that we needed and wanted to enjoy our meal at this establishment! Shout out to you Rene, as well as all of the other waiters and waitresses who worked and also stopped by our table during our meal to see if we needed anything . It was awesome to see everyone working together and getting along so well! I can see how this place can be so popular because of staff like these guys!! Thanks to you all for handling such a busy day with professionalism, grace and warm smiles while doing so! This is truly commendable! We will definitely be back! As far as the ambiance is concerned, Lagos is a stunningly beautiful building on the inside and outside! It has beautiful arches and high ceilings which are adorned with authentic sculptures and pristine lighting. There is ample seating in various sections of the expansive restaurant, with comfortable seating both inside and outside! The atmosphere is warm and comforting, and all patrons seemed to enjoy their stay while eating and fellowshipping together! This was totally Awesome!! We had a swell time and would like to highly recommend Lagos in Fullerton to anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, in a professional, friendly and absolutely beautiful restaurant!! Nicely done guys!!! Especially you Rene!!!

It's just another Mexican restaurant with just good vibes…read more The food does not represent authentic Mexican food. I ordered the asada taco plate; they were the most plain and dry tacos I have ever eaten. My first thought at first bite was that even street tacos taste better than these. The shrimp plate was also plain, with the rice tasting undercooked. So disappointed with the quality of the food. Nice place though (the restroom needs a bit more attention) . Our waitress was friendly and the restaurant has nice décor.

Revolucion Cantina & Mezcaleria has a revolutionary taco Tuesday…read more... It's not a big restaurant but they spaced it out great and have a great bar, western, Hispanic vibe to the whole place. I loved the artwork and photos with frames. The service was great, between the bartenders, check in and our host we were always tended to and asked how we are enjoying our experience. Now.. when I heard taco buffet... I'll admit I was skeptical. So when my buddie suggested this for our foodie group I figured give it a shot. I'll start by saying ... I'd go every Tuesday lol it was a simple buffet they had every meat you needed, the carne asada was good, the chicken was good, the barbacoa was friggin delicious my favorite was the Al pastor. And the mushrooms ... usually at buffets have dry or oily food and this was pretty damn good to be honest. I think it's a solid business plan to do taco Tuesday like this. On top of all that the mini churros were good, the salsas were delicious. The chips were alright I think that's the only thing that was ok for me but overall I enjoyed myself very much. ALSO!!! The mango margarita!!! PERFECTION!!!!!

OC's Best AYCE Taco Tuesday?!…read more All day Tuesday from 11 am to 10 pm, Revolucion Cantina in downtown Fullerton, CA, is the place to be! It's a taco lover's paradise where you can build your dream tacos--or even nachos with crispy chicharrones. It's wild, and guess what I made? Chicharrón nachos! My no-carb-loving husband was ultra jealous. The options at this taco Tuesday bar are seriously impressive--at least six different proteins, nacho cheese, pozole, all kinds of salsas and toppings, plus four flavors of agua fresca to try. And to top it all off, you can end your meal with crispy, sweet churros! This spot is definitely worth checking out, especially on Tuesdays. Come out and have some fun!

We just stopped in El Camino Real tonight. We stepped right up and ordered immediately, and the food was ready quick. I noticed they do a lot of take out as well as eat-in orders here, which is good to know for a later time when I just want to pick something up. This was excellent food, served hot, and very, very tasty. I LOVED the refried beans, and those tortillas are something special. I had two beef tacos, and they were great. And our bill was reasonable. Prices are crazy high most anywhere now, but it looks like these folks are trying to keep their food afffordable... which is probably why they were very busy. I'm glad. Thanks for a nice meal. We'll be back soon!

That's a lot for a $19 order (4 tacos and one burrito). I did not see any notices for a credit card fee. If there are any signs, someone feel free to correct me and show me a photo and time stamp, I'll gladly revise my review. This is a very small taco place with very limited parking. You're better off parking along the streets and walking here. It's a casual dining so you order and then sit wherever you want. There's indoor and outdoor seating. During rush hour, it's pretty hectic. The salsa and toppings bar is located right next to the ordering line, so people were constantly squeezing past each other to get through. It wasn't very convenient, and with the restaurant already being on the smaller side, it could easily feel cramped and overwhelming for anyone who doesn't like tight spaces. However, I do like that there is an open salsa and toppings bar. They even have pickled onions, radish, and carrots. The salsas were very good as well, not overly spicy. I tried the carne asada, pastor, and chicken tacos. All of which were really good and well marinated. Meats were tender and not dry at all. Just on the taste alone, I'll definitely be back and will be paying with cash or debit next time. They definitely need a warning for credit surcharges and hopefully it won't be a rush hour next time I go.

It was my friend's turn to pay so I was like, well at least I didn't pay for it. She's not picky at all. So got a wild hair and decided to stop in for something cheap and simple after my nail appt, cheese quesa and guac. Almost $20 for such a small serving?! The guac barely had any flavor. Fresh cut veggies on top and we took salsa, sliced lemon, and hot yellow chile to eat with the fish taco- sorry no pic- we were way too hungry- next time yes on the photo. The 4 fish tacos in 1 container is EXTREMELY messy- the tacos overlap and when you're trying to pick it up it's all over everything and you end up tearing the tortilla! Next time I'll tell them 2 fish tacos in a to go container. Carnitas sope was delicious! The masa was soft the carnitas meat delicious it was covered with some lettuce, tomato, cheese- the bottom layer was refried beans- very tasty- I'd order it again but try another meat like Al Pastor. I added some of their salsa and it was very delicious! I wanted to get the watermelon agua fresca but my husband reminded me we had cold diet cokes waiting for us at home next time for sure!
