Came here on Saturday night since we were shopping at Kohls and needed a quick dinner. My kids were hungry. Was greeted by a gentleman associate. Easy to order & received my Angus Steak plate pretty fast. I had the option of brown rice & weither I'd like full plate of the protein or with veggies. Having veggies doesn't make your protein options much less. Food was good. The plate comes with half a slice orange fruit. There is a magic sauce along w hot sauce dispenser at the counter. Prices has gone up. Understandable due to inflation. It's just like any other Flame Broiler restaurant. Located right next to Acai Republic, same plaza as Kohls near Ralphs super market. I have never in my life been in such a clean and cheerful Flame Broiler. I visit random locations weekly because it's the only thing my autistic daughter likes. The woman behind the counter told me the place was newly under her ownership and I like what she's done with the place! The other chains should visit hers to see how it's done. Who hasn't been to a flame broiler by this time? My wife and I were in the area and she wanted fast (healthier) food. So we stopped by this location. Inside was clean and the employees were nice, but I was really impressed with the brown rice. Yes, I've had brown rice before but it was made to perfection, enough moisture but not too much to make it soggy. read more

Ordered family meal and only enough to feed two people! The chicken had NO seasoning and was so bland. This is one of the worst Flame Broilers I have ever been to! I also order a sprout salad and there was NO sprouts only lettuce and chicken. I do not recommend this establishment to anyone. read more

I ordered a regular chicken bowl. And I devoured the entire thing because I had so little chicken. I had to finish all the rice to fill up, otherwise I would've been starving until my next meal. Most of my chicken pieces could be more accurately described as hard, burnt scraps the size of my tiny finger nails. Some of the green onion pieces were larger than these "chicken" scraps. Not to say there weren't larger pieces. However, these 'larger' chicken pieces I got were smaller than chicken McNuggets, volume-wise, and even then, there were only maybe 4 of these pieces. I understand inflation, blah blah blah, but I'll take my $10, not even to another Flame Broiler, because this experience has left a bad the taste in my mouth with this chain, but just completely elsewhere. Tried ordering through the Yelp grub hub system(supposed to be convenient?). So I guess the grub hub system is not connected to their order system in the kitchen so if the cashier doesn't input into the register it won't be made. When the app told me my order was ready for pick up, it apparently never made it to the kitchen. The cashier got my order info and said it would be out soon. 10 minutes pass I ask again since I'm now the last in the restaurant and everyone who ordered while I was waiting left. Again my order never made it to the kitchen, so the manager in the kitchen came out and took it (3rd times the charm) 20 minutes after Yelp has told me My order is finished and ready to be picked up, my actual order came out. The manager gave me a free drink which was nice, and I get they were busy - and I don't know if it was someone's first day? In any case I was ready to walk out and just ask for a refund (I'm a pushover lol so I stayed since when they talked to me the care was their just not the action). Pros The regular bowl is a perfect size for lunch! I'm the person who tends to over eat at lunch and get massive food coma afterwards. The portion size at Flame Broiler keeps me accountable and keeps me in check. No over eating! The char! I love char on my meat. Who doesn't? It gives the beef or chicken more flavor and I'm a connoisseur of flavor. The chicken in my bowl was charred to perfection. Picture attached. Chicken bowls are $6.00 plus tax. No extra charge for brown rice! I usually get half white and half brown. Try it! The magic sauce is indeed a magical sauce probably invented in a magical land somewhere in Wonderland, Neverland or Narnia. But keep everything in moderation! Go easy on the sauce, especially if you're on diet! Choices are good, but honestly, in the end, I have to resort to the Rice Bowl King. Disappointed... That's the only word that comes to mind. I used to eat at a flame broiler regularly many years ago, but they closed down that location since they weren't getting enough business. I probably have not eaten at a flame broiler for about 13 or 14 years, so I was very excited when I saw this on my way to have Thai food. I decided to have flame broiler instead, because I used to love their food. I got a chicken plate, and the chicken was so burned I had to keep taking pieces off and putting them aside because they were simply inedible. The ones that I did end up eating were so bitter, that I had to keep spitting out again and again. I thought about taking the food back and asking for the chicken to be remade but we all know that should be the last option (who knows what they do to your food in the kitchen when you send it back). On top of that, the chicken was cold the second I picked up the food so clearly it was not made fresh. The last time I'm going to eat at flame broiler. With a couple of dollars more I could've had great Thai food but instead I wasted that money and I'm leaving completely unsatisfied. read more

I order at this location almost every day and I am giving it a one star specifically due to the lunch hour cashier, Danielle. She has consistently provided me with the wrong order, stresses out every customer that walks in and complians to me and other customers when asking for special instructions for or ask for a side of peppers on a specific occasion so now I don't even ask. I was not aware that having less than 10 items on a menu would be so overwhelming to handle. I have yet to raise this to the manager of the location but felt like this would be more impactful so I don't have to walk into a bubble of negativity when i'm trying to eat healthy during the lunch hour. Was on hold for so long, that I ended up making it inside flame broiler and was told my VIP promotion card I bought that I couldn't use it cause it wasn't in her system. This place used to be decent, it has gotten bad. The sauce is now a quarter per very small container, I personally use four. An extra buck is not a big deal but they stopped cleaning the grill so you get bits of old burned meat that tastes terrible. I saw the table next to mine only finished half before they tossed their food. I just spent a few minutes picking out the burnt charcoal pieces. The staff here seems friendlier than other occasions. I noticed this weekend they have a new setup where it kind of looks like Chipotle. The cashier prepares your bowl and then rings you up. I spoke with the cashier who was working and she explained the pros and cons of it this far. What really impressed me though was she wasnt complaining about it at all. The few flaws in the new setup she did critique but also offered up solutions to them. Idk, it was nice to hear from an employee. I used to work in management and often employees would just whine about things and thats that. But this young lady offered up solutions to problems and thats a great skill!
