Ewwww!!! When was this last cleaned?
    Anthony E.

Yeah won't go here again. Along with the photo the green sauce was clogged as if it had not been cleaned or updated all day. They had the salad dressing sitting out with the sauces. for cleanliness.

I love the way Flame Broiler cooks their chicken it's always well done just like i like it and i love some char on it to. The sauce is so authentic nobody has anything like the Flame Broiler sauce. I get double chicken with vegetables and onions and NO rice so i get a Keto no carb meal.

I came for the salsa, the salsa is the best salsa out there. Asada Burrito is super good. Enchiladas are super good also

Came with a large group 9 of us in total and we made a reservation at opening just to be safe but it wasn't very packed. Food slowly started coming as it arrived, brussel sprouts, potatoes, which whatever the sauce on the bottom of those potatoes SHEESH FIRE! Food slowly arrived and everyone enjoyed what they ordered and shared so we could all try a little bit of everything as it arrived. It wasn't that anything was bad it was that nothing really was a home run. The food was good the service was fine but when your spending what griffins is saying their food is worth in my opinion the details matter that much more and once again it's not that anything was bad it just wasn't as elevated as the price point.

The FOOD: 4.5/5 | Drinks: 5/5 Off the appetizers, we had the pork belly bites and dirty fries! First dish came with a long hot pepper, several mini tortillas, and 2 dipping sauces. The pork was crunchy on the outside and soft+succulent on the inside. I can see myself doubling up on this appetizer the next time I come. Dirty fries were great; it came with a generous amount of pickled onions - providing a really nice contrast to the savoriness of our meal. Our waiter graciously accommodated our request to have the egg on the side. Off the entrée/taco menu, my friend ordered the Korean tacos and I got the Ensenada (fish) tacos. But you can also order the Ensenada tacos with shrimp. These were delicious, I would have loved a little more lime crema to go with the fish - but not a big deal. I got a Watermelon Margarita. I wasn't expecting it to be HUGE, but it was the perfect amount considering how much food we as a pair ordered. My friend ordered the La Toxica table side cocktail and one additional mango cocktail. Table side cocktail was a whole show and my friend really enjoyed it. We had a great lunch at Tempo Cantina. Best of all, this is a very rare place that will give you a lot of extra powdered sugar. The vast majority of restaurants, mistakenly believing maple syrup and butter are the only acceptable french toast condiments, either don't even carry it or won't provide more than the lightest dusting. You can get all the powdered sugar you want here! My favorite item at Toast is the churro french toast. It comes with a sweet butter cream on the side, sliced strawberries, and mini churros on top! For some reason the refinery spend their 40 minutes cooking the hell out of my burger, and they could even put the tooth pick in the middle of my burger, like is it that hard to stab my burger in the middle. I honestly don't know how The Refinery inside the Hilton in Brea manages to stay open. This was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. First off, the place looks nice when you walk in, but that's where the positives end. The service was painfully slow -- not the "busy restaurant" kind of slow, but the "did anyone remember we're here?" kind. We waited forever just to get water, and it somehow took even longer for the food. Then the food actually showed up... and wow. Bland, overpriced, and somehow still cold. It tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp since last week. For a restaurant attached to a Hilton, I expected at least basic quality, but this felt like cafeteria food with steakhouse prices. To make things worse, the staff acted like helping customers was a huge inconvenience. No check-ins, no refills, no effort. Just vibes of "please eat and leave." Between the slow service, disappointing food, and ridiculous prices, this place feels like a tourist trap hiding in a hotel lobby. Save your money and eat literally anywhere else in Brea. Even a gas station snack run would be a better experience.

Horrible experience and extremely poor customer service…read more On Father's Day, my husband wanted to try this restaurant for the first time. Unfortunately, it turned into one of the worst dining experiences we've had. We were seated on the patio and waited for 15 minutes without a single employee approaching our table. Not one server, host, or staff member stopped by to acknowledge us, offer water, or even let us know someone would be with us shortly. We actually timed it from the moment we sat down until the moment we left. What made the situation even more frustrating was that we were seated in the middle of the patio in plain sight. We watched multiple servers and staff members standing around the service station, chatting, sipping drinks, and looking around. Meanwhile, guests who were seated after us had their orders taken, received water, and were even served appetizers before anyone acknowledged our existence. For a restaurant charging premium prices, this level of service is completely unacceptable. On Father's Day of all days, when families are trying to enjoy a special meal together, the lack of attention and basic hospitality was astonishing. After 15 minutes, with my husband and son both hungry and frustrated, I walked up to what appeared to be the manager or owner and informed her that we were leaving because no one had come to our table. Her response was that she "wasn't aware." Frankly, that's not an acceptable answer. If you're managing or owning a restaurant, knowing whether your guests are being taken care of is part of the job. I have traveled extensively throughout the United States and internationally, dining at everything from small local establishments to high-end restaurants around the world. Out of the countless places I have visited, this experience easily ranks among my top 20 worst restaurant experiences. Not because the food was bad--we never even had the opportunity to order--but because the complete lack of service and awareness was that shocking. To make matters worse, after leaving, we went to North Italia. Within a few minutes of being seated, a server greeted us, acknowledged the Father's Day rush, offered us bread, and genuinely seemed concerned when we explained what had just happened. That simple act of hospitality immediately changed the tone of our afternoon. That is how a restaurant should be operated. That is what good management, training, and customer service look like. You make guests feel welcome, valued, and taken care of--even on one of the busiest dining days of the year. This restaurant, unfortunately, did the exact opposite. We left disappointed, hungry, and genuinely stunned by how poorly the situation was handled. Will we return? Absolutely not. There are far too many restaurants that appreciate their customers and understand the basics of hospitality for us to ever give this place another chance.
