Matthew took our order and got our sandwiches ready with a smile Been coming here for years, but it's been a while. Baby girl and I came here for lunch, I haven't been out in like a week so was nice to get out and have lunch together. Baby girl got a plain turkey and I got the tuna trying to staying healthy lol. A bag of chips soda and a cookie. I do like this location so close not bad of parking near the rite aid i go to and they have inside seating which is nice so we sat and ate. Was sort of busy for 2:00 but still found a seat. Subway is not my go to usually but sounded yummy today and we enjoyed it. So I'm not a Subway fan but I do come here for lunch and the four stars go strictly to the service. To me service is extremely important. Now not all of the sandwich makers are nice but there older ones there are extremely helpful and sweet. Always greeting and never in a bad mood during the horrific lunch rush. I really appreciate that. This facility is clean. I love the fact that the area they make sandwiches on is always clean regardless of how many sandwiches they are making. Pretty small place too but I always find seating so that's good. This place gets pretty busying during the hours of 11:30-1 so expect lines during lunch. Best Subway I have ever dined at!!! MANAGER/OWNER PAY ATTENTION: I live in Simi Valley but commute to Brea for work. I began eating at this Subway daily. It's been the same 3 person staff since I started coming here for lunch 2 weeks ago. The place was clean and has VERY COMFORTABLE SEATING!!! By day 3 on my lunch breaks...the staff already knew what I was going to order and now just starts making my sandwich (I get the same order every day). They don't slop everything around like I've seen in other Subway franchises...they CARE and connect with each and every customer! THEY DESERVE A RAISE MR/MS MANAGER! The staff here was so nice and friendly! This is on our way home from daycare and my daughter loves subway so we stop here and have our little mommy daughter dates! The staff is efficient and so patient even when I heard a high maintenance woman with her mask half off and being not so nice with her preferences. Kudos to the guy making sandwiches stating patience and explaining why certain menu items are missing (most likely due to covid guidelines). He is the nicest guy is always so pleasant and goes out of his way to be kind and inviting. Enough so that we remember him and always note how nice of a person he is. You don't see that very often anymore, and as two people who work in the retail and service industries we know how easy it is to check out and wait the shift out. I asked subway worker I am here for my pick and preceded with my and both worker stated they didn't receive anything and this been happening to a lot of customers. The associate that help me and my wife this evening is a total B**. Very grumpy, rude, and not friendly at all. She was condensending qith her actions toqard us. When asked if a new sandwoch is good, her reply was in an irritated tone "I dont know,I have not tried them at all." Then when asked to put extra cheese, ahe said it will cost extra. When my wife asked to repeat what she said, ahe spoke slowly as if mocking my wife not understanding English and said WILL COST EXTRA, YOU WILL PAY EXTRA MONEY, $1" and the whole time she was saying it, she was irritated. 24 HOURS/ 7 DAYS BEST SUBWAY EVER!!!! We worked out for a good 1 1/2 hours in Brea and were SUPER hungry. So the very first thing that came to our mind was Molca Salsa. After working out, I was ready for some greasy carne asada fries and we were ready for a carne asada burrito UNTIL WE TURNED ON IMPERIAL HWY. We saw that Subway was still open so we went there, instead. I seriously needed to start eating healthy... anyway, so we walked in. The guys working night shift were SOOOOO hilarious, funny and SUPER nice. GREAT SERVICE and always with a SMILE on their face. While they were making our sammies, they were telling us some funny stories about working late night shift. Of course, I won't tell you. I've been coming here for more than a year on a weekly basis. I love subway and the food is consistent no matter what store you go to. However the customer service isn't. I would say this was my fav local subway to go to but recently I have seen a new face who has no idea what they are doing behind the counter every time I go. I feel bad for the employees that don't know what's going on because they weren't trained, and then there are employees who should never have been hired in the first place. Which brings me to think its the new manager that I have seen in the past couple months that isn't making good decisions. The employees don't seem happy and they are always stressed out during lunch time. Don't you think if it gets busy consistently everyday during lunchtime they would schedule people who know what they are doing during this time? I would, but there are always newbies slowing down the line. I don't want to be spending half my lunch break waiting in line. Also this last time I asked to have my sandwich double toasted and I got attitude from the manager for my request. Not cool bro, you work in customer service and I wasn't asking for the stars and the moon. There is another subway on the other side of the 57 where the employees seem happy and treat their customers well. Okay. I work close to this place, so I'm there a lot. I wouldn't review a place like this; a fairly common fast food joint, but this one deserves it. Primarily because of the people. I really like the staff here. They are personable and friendly. It's not easy working fast food, but these guys do it day and day out and I respect that. It also doesn't hurt that they get their stuff right most times rather than not. You can give me okay food and excellent service and I'll be back for the service all the time. I never thought I'd be reviewing a Subway on Yelp but this location is amazing. The staff is always super friendly, upbeat and nice. Usually when i walk into a subway I get the feeling the person making the sandwich hates their job and would rather stay in the backroom than make my sandwich but I feel welcomed here. I also thought it was my imagination that the sandwiches tasted better here but when visiting a couple other subways I knew I was right. I get a veggie delight and appreciate it when there's a generous amount of vegetables since It doesn't come with any deli meat to plump up the sandwich and get really disappointed when it feels like I got all of a leaf of lettuce and 2 slices of tomatoes in between my bread, but not here, they usually pack it in. I love subway, but it's their pizza that bugs me. It all started when I walked in the door. No. It was on the door, there was a pizza sign & I was like hmm, I'm in a mood for some pizza. So I walked in. I took my order but the place is so small. For the most part, it's pretty clean. The cookies are very good and delicious. I would definatly go here for just the cookies. Continuing on, I got my pizza and I took a bite of it. It tastes like CARDBOARD with cheese and tomato sauce. Wait, I'm over exaggerating. It tastes very plain and I rather go to Pizza Hut. I will return but not very often to this place. The sandwiches are delicious, but absolutely do not get the pizza- I'm warning you.
