My go-to sandwich is The Original Italian on Rosemary Parmesan Bread. It's loaded with freshly sliced Provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami and pepperoni. You can customize with your choice of toppings of mayo, mustard, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, dill pickles, jalapeno peppers, banana peppers, red wine vinegar, olive oil blend, oregano, salt & pepper. The sandwich is delicious, although a little pricey. The only thing is that the customer service is not consistent with the staff. I've been here several times in the past 2 weeks. Most of the staff have good customer service but there are a few that don't, mostly at the register. They could be friendlier and smile more. Bruh... these guys are good. Honestly, I hope whoever owns this franchise realizes what these guys do.. each one is like a rare find. I've seen them clear huge lines, but the way they do it is definitely not common. It's like an all star team of the best multi-taskers working together. The two main guys I think Hispanic and Asian (didn't get their names) could probably run a shop of their own, but they communicate, move super fast, and get ish done.. which is definitely rare. When I see long lines, I'll sometimes think of going somewhere else, bc I don't have a lot of free time. However, when I see them, I know it's not an issue. My kids love their ham and provolone sandwiches, and the bread is fresh. I don't have many choices as they can be picky. I'd rather have them eat sandwiches than fast food so jersey mikes is a win. I ordered through the app because I was on my lunch break and when I came in my order wasn't ready. ETA on the app said 15 minutes, it took 21 minutes. There was walk in customer's being served faster than my prepaid order, I even tipped. What's the point of ordering ahead when you have to wait and everyone else gets their order before you. I love Jersey Mikes, however I was very disappointed today when I went for lunch. Customer service was great as usual however the establishment was so dirty. The floor where they prep the floor was so dirty, the trash can was overflowing, the condiment area was dirty, the counter was dirty. Went here with a friend and enjoyed the sandwich. The casual atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. Parking is easy in the center where this shop is. Not a whole lot of menu options that I preferred, but I got the smoked turkey sub with chips and a cookie; all delicious and worth coming back for again. Jersey Mike's is about two storefronts to the left of D'Vine (which is one our favorite restaurants in this strip mall), and right next to Sunmerry Bakery (which is a pass for us). We've been to this plaza so many times but never realized Jersey Mike's was here, so it was a pleasant surprise. We had enough points for free sandwiches, so it was perfect! The workers here are busy bees. I counted about 5 workers and they were all either stocking up the chip racks or the drink fridge, restocking cups and napkins, cleaning up, making orders (for in-person orders and online), or etc. They were all very kind, efficient, and exuded great customer service. Yes, Jersey Mike's is a bit on the pricier side but the quality is great. California Club (which we could not find on the menu, but they still make it.) - prepared Mike's Way® with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, vinegar, oil, and spices; or any combination to your choosing #17 Mike's Famous Philly Grilled onions, peppers & white American cheese. This Philly is the real deal. It's grilled fresh to order with tender steak, peppers, onions, and white American cheese. We were so hungry, and quickly finished off Mike's Famous Philly before we even got home. The steak certainly was tender, no unchewable areas, and the flavors were great. I have yet to order through the app, but had no issues whatsoever with ordering in-store on a Friday afternoon - after the lunch rush. Not sure if I'm coming back. It's conveniently walking distance from work but, it's only good if you order a sub. I've ordered a wrap and it was super small. I've ordered the Chicken Caesar in the tub and it was the most pathetic looking salad I've ever seen. For $10, they could have gave me more lettuce ? It was filled halfway of the bottom of the container. The container itself is huge but it's filed with air. They also didn't let me customize it... maybe cause it was busy? One whole piece didn't have any Mayo and the second piece I bit into was just as dry. Between the hard bread and the dry sandwich, just a waste of $20 just on my sandwich. Mobile order took 10-15 minutes past the pick up time...when I arrived on my actual pick up time, I had to ask them about my order & then they said they are making it... But in actuality they just had the receipt paper printed and on the table. Saw them actually just start making the order when I asked about it. My man wanted a sandwich for lunch. I threw out a few suggestions, Corner Bakery, Stefano's, Togo's, none of which sounded good to him. There is a Jersey Mike's somewhere near his work in Laguna Beach and he suggested going there. I suggested going on Yelp and finding one closer. Success, a location in Brea less than 10 miles from us. Off we went. I ordered the Club Supreme on white. I like that they freshly slice all the meat for each sandwich. I like that I can easily see all the produce, unlike Togo's where a midget like me can't see over the counter to tell what is happening with my sandwich. We grabbed a booth and dug into our food. Great sandwich! The bread was super soft and clearly very fresh. The roast beef was some of the best I have had at a sandwich joint. I admit I was a bit nervous about "Mike's Way" which involves a large dousing of red wine vinegar and oil, but it worked well. Plus it absorbed into the sandwich so it wasn't a dripping mess which is what I was imagining as I watched the guy pour it all over everything. My only gripe was the bacon was a bit too hard, I would probably skip that next time. Definitely my new favorite chain sub place. read more
