This place is delicious and I love it's bagels! I recently ordered the hash brown, Sriracha Honey Sunrise, and the Farmhouse sandwich. The Sriracha Honey Sunrise definitely stole the show as it packed so much flavor. The cream cheese mixed well with sriracha, creating a creamy flavor. The honey also added a bit of sweetness to seal the deal. It was a pleasant surprise. I also ordered farmhouse sandwich which was also very tasty! Different flavors from the Honey Sunrise, but still worth giving it a shot for a yummy breakfast! The cream cheese on both bagel sandwiches was stellar. The hash brown was good, but not my favorite. Very disappointed. I arrived at 5:30 a.m. and waited in my car until 6:00, which is the posted opening time. At 6:00, I got out and stood outside waiting, yet the doors still weren't open. Employees clearly saw me standing there and never acknowledged me or explained the delay. If your sign says you open at 6:00 a.m., then you should be open at 6:00 a.m. I come here regularly whenever I'm working in the area, but this experience was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. We used to come here several times a month. The last few time we have been in it's been eeehh. The girls working are rude and seemed bothered by any questions you asked. None of them said Hi, thank you and just stood there like they just hate their job. Looking at other reviews looks like this seems to be a problem at this location. On top of that they must have changed their cream cheese. The jalapeño used to be spicy with great flavor. Now..it is more of a whipped consistency and flavorless. But I'm leaving a 1 star review because every time I come customer service is so bad :( Employees roll their eyes as soon as you walk in and while I place my order the older lady kept scoffing at me. I went to check out and in their front fridge where they leave all their cream cheeses I saw they were out of the one I wanted I asked the younger cashier if they had any more in the back and she rolled her eyes at me, squinted her eyes and told me let me check. For the last 6+ months this location has switched focus to mobile orders first and therefore it creates a very long line, practically out the door, of customers waiting to even put their order in. The people here are always so nice, the service is quick and it's a really good size bagel shop with lots of seating. Unfortunately though, I just don't find the bagels to be good at all. They are pretty small for a $4 bagel (I can buy an entire package of better tasting bagels from the grocery store for less than 1 bagel here) I also hate that they are never "toasted" (even when you order them toasted) The edges might have a very slight crisp and if you get something with seeds on top (everything or sesame) it will definitely burn the seeds but the inside (the heart of the bagel where all the bread is, is never close to being toasted) it only makes them warm and chewy on the inside... nothing toasty about it! I've been there three times and was underwhelmed every time. Today was the last time I'll be going there, not only was the bagel not good but the cream cheese tasted sour and was a very weird consistency. It was our first time and no one made eye contact or initiated to take my friend's order. I just got a coffee and the coffee tasted fine. Problem I had was that they have an app, but I did not find out till I got to the register that I could not use my rewards because the location does not use the app. They forgot about both our orders and since it was busy we waited 20 minutes for a small order. Once we asked if our order was almost done the workers gave us attitude and rudely gave us our orders. I don't think my friend and I would want to come back due to the service. Looked like the place to be to get yummy bagel sandwiches. Was crowded on a Saturday morning when we went. Unfortunate that they aren't friendly. TL;DR - Rude staff, even ruder manager, false advertising and inflexible ordering options. Will not be returning. Full story below: I've ordered here for company events since their bagels are tasty and popular with my team members and didn't have issues until most my recent interaction. I don't know if there was a change in management or just an overall decline in the quality of staff and training but I will no longer be supporting this business because of how poorly they treat their customers. It took 2 hours of back and forth phone calls and 2 physical visits, to get the "Two Dozen Bagel with Cream Cheese Bundle" that I ordered, not at all a complex order, mind you. Firstly, they answer the phones less than half of the time, and when they do, the staff are not trained to answer any questions and constantly defer to the manager, Aurelio. Aurelio is rude, does not greet people, and does not apologize or accommodate for any mishaps. He is a "take it or leave it" type of guy. I had attempted to place a phone order since they've stopped accepting orders on their website, but they do not take payments over the phone. I understand phone payments are a security issue but if that's the case, then a secure online option should be made available. Aurelio made no attempt to work with me despite the fact that I was making multiple calls to his store, trying to give him MY BUSINESS. He 'took' my order regardless but did not take down my phone number or any other information. That didn't give me the confidence that the order would be fulfilled or that there would be accountability; as this was for a company event, I needed something concrete. I eventually found a third party website powered by Grubhub that allowed credit card payment and advanced ordering for pick up. Several attempts to reach the store were made afterwards to confirm the order was received, where Aurelio was unable to confirm receipt of the order. I made honest attempts to reach the store so that we didn't duplicate any orders and when I finally reached him, I was told there wouldn't be duplication because my initial phone order was on a slip of paper that he could just toss in the trash...talk about a lack of professionalism or system. Nonetheless, we proceeded with the Grubhub pickup order and later found that the 2 dozen bagels didn't have cream cheese included. Aurelio was aware of the order that I had placed since we had already spoken via phone several times by then, and it was still left out. I had to return to the store and ask for the cream cheese, during which Aurelio rudely demanded that I pay for them and that "based on the price you paid, it's not included". I was not going to waste my time arguing with him, but did voice my dissatisfaction regarding my entire experience with this ordering process and was met with absolute silence as he rung me up for the cream cheese. No apology, no attempt to rectify, nothing. People may like your food, but keep up the attitude, and customers will catch on. I see on Yelp here that the business owner uses a default template to defer dissatisfied customers to fill out a form instead of making honest attempts to listen, another symptom of the "take it or leave it", "too bad" attitude....No thanks! I actually have many recurring company events that can amount to significant business but I'm not going to beg someone to take my money, what a ridiculous attitude to have as a business! read more
