Two weeks ago I took a family member there for a birthday dinner. it was ridiculous to get a server. They sat us in a tiny booth and didn't take our drink order at all as it was 100 degrees outside and then saying they didn't have a bigger table, which I then I walked around myself and found one. We finally got another server who was nice but the service was the worst. I Had to walk around and asked the host to get me a glass of water after waiting and waiting for a server. We all ate our dinner and we never got our plate of meatballs. So what does she do? she brings us the meatballs when we are all done eating spaghetti with NO meatballs and we are ready to go. Snuck away for a quick little date with the Mr. We went around 8pm and asked if we can sit at the bar as we were just grabbing a drink and appetizer. At first they mentioned they had just closed the bar but Amanda the bartender was quick to say it's ok and that she'd gladly take care of us. We got to talking and found her to be a hard worker with great experiences. We order our drinks (I got the red sangria mg favorite, & my husband got a mule) and appetizer & she was still willing to put in an order for a salad. Fun touristy italian restaurant thats good for big parties and birthdays. Our server was really friendly and attentive. I still think the alfredo at the Olive Garden is better lol but it's not bad just add lots of parmesan to it. The spaghetti and meatballs is pretty good if you like standard marinara and the meatballs are okay not heavy on any distinct seasoning. We ordered the colossal sundae which is great to share and the brownies are good and rich. The tiramisu is iconic and definitely better than the Olive Garden's tiramisu. I have visited both this branch and Anaheim branch numerous times with my families whenever we have family events and they never fail us. Their unique photos on the walls and fun artifacts around the restaurant will keep you occupied while waiting for your meal to arrive. We had to add two more people a day before and when I called, they were very nice about it and had no problem making the adjustment. When part of my party arrived, they seated us right away. And, our server, Crystal was a delight. Her bright energy and funny jokes were making everybody smile. She was very fast filling the beverages, checking and bringing out the food and cleaning the table. We ordered our usuals such as chopped antipasto, mozzarella caprese, frutti di mare, linguine & clams and sausage & mushroom pizza, which are amazing every time that I would order again in a heart beat. Out of ordinary, we ordered mild and spicy sausages and even they were delicious. The place was empty for a Sunday, but the service was slow and the server helping us was short not friendly at all. We asked for extra napkins he brought 4 were a party of 3. We asked for refills he had to take our cups could not just bring extra cups. The food was fine nothing special Alfredo was flavorful, no chicken unless you want to pay extra. We went to the Brea Buca di Beppo. We ordered a caraf of sangria, cesar salad and lasagna. First of all the sangria tasted like fizzy grape sweet soda "terrible", the cesar dressing tasted like a sour ranch dressing "terrible", then they brought out the lasagna which was cold in the center and they tried to heat it up right before serving "Terrible". Oh by the way passing on vegetable oil as if it is olive oil is a big no no to me and olive oil should always be in a tinted glass not clear. We asked to speak to the manager I believe his name was Mickey. The manager did everything he could to make it right but the quality was just not there. If it wasn't for the kindness of the staff this would be definitely a 1 star experience. read more

We celebrated my sisters 27th birthday today! We got there early before the crowd so we were seated quickly. It's always funny seeing all the weird photos they have up on the walls especially the bathroom. Everything tasted amazing and yummy like always. Love hate here. Rolled in on a Friday or Saturday night more than an hour of closing. Was told it was a 10 min wait because they had one server. So we switched it to go. A large chicken parm and large penne vodka was $120. It's still decent food but man it was expensive. It came out quick. The service and pricing were a bit disappointing.
