WASHROOM FLOOR IS FILTHY AND TOILETTE TOO! Food is great, but come on... After eating, you're going to have to use the washroom to wash your hands, etc., and then you just feel disgusted after eating.

The black pepper fried noodles were the best! The perfect amount of pepper on the noodles. The mentaiko udon was a bit dry and I wish it was creamier. We really enjoyed the hazelnut toast and I'm not one who typically likes hazelnut. It was the right balance of nutty and sweet. I think their bubble tea is pretty average. It's good but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it. The wontons were a hit they were packed with meat. We did have to get up to go pay even though we asked for the bill to come to us. I would go back just for the toast.

This place is nostalgic for me because it was one of the restaurants I went to when I was in high school. Bubble World serves Taiwanese cuisine and I usually get their beef noodle soup. However, this time I tried their pork intestine noodle because I see it featured in a lot of Taiwanese street food videos and I've never had it before. The broth was very thick and had crushed raw garlic. The noodles were quite thin and I feel like there wasn't a lot in terms of quantity. I was surprised by the texture of pork intestine (I liked it) but I think this dish has more potential.

It's Bubble World. Not a lot can really go wrong. Their bubbles teas never seem to fail me. This time I got the grass jelly drink which did not skimp on grass jelly. In fact, there wasn't much drink and mostly grass jelly. Lol. I didn't mind. Ordered the popular salt and peppery chicken nugget combo which I noticed they added more side dishes. Not 1 but 2 spring rolls as well as some Chinese sausage pieces. The portion of chicken nuggets was pretty generous and as always MSG flavourful! So I'd say portion to price ratio is pretty good. I need to try other items next time I come back but for now, this review is based on that dish particularly.

Great bang for your buck type of food! You'll definitely leave the place full I haven't found a dish that is my fave yet, but I do tend to find myself wanting to go back to try the others

Customer Service: 4/5 Ambiance/Cleanliness: 4/5 (often loud) Menu Variety: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Food/Drink Quality: 5/5 Wheelchair Accessible: 3/5 CASH ONLY is probably my biggest complaint about this business. I rarely carry cash and while this place is on the way home, oftentimes I don't want to stop and visit an ATM just to buy a drink. I have visited this location many times, both to sit down and eat and to order to-go drinks. Whichever you choose, the service is pretty good: wait staff are friendly, your food/drink of choice will arrive within about ten minutes or less, and the bathroom rarely has a lineup. When I was in a wheelchair I visited this place and they were able to help me find a table, but there is nothing designated for disabled people and the washroom isn't necessarily easy to get to. Still, this is a great place to bring a group of friends or a date. The food is always tasty and the drinks are large. Bubble World New West was always my favorite of the chain locations and while I still recommend it over the Surrey location, it's mainly because of the CASH ONLY issue.

I don't Iive in bc, but I visit often to see friends. I needed a quick Taiwanese popcorn chicken fix asap. So I came here. Not too bad only it lagged a few small ingredients. I'd probably come back if I was in dire need of my fix again, it was close to my Airbnb and was too lazy to drive any further also I was on a time schedule haha.

I called before one of the approximate last-calls for kitchen... no answer. They "close" at 2AM. Showed up to the location only to find a few of their employees smoking INSIDE the restaurant (in the photo, one of the employees is holding her cigarettes behind her legs), door still unlocked (I was able to go inside and had to ask if they were still going to take orders before last call since all the lights were on and they had drinks) and open sign still on (turned it off 5 mins after I asked). Unprofessional and nice to know the dust on the floor are actually cigarette ashes.

In this photo, is a rip off of an establishment. They will overcharge you.

Don't pay in USD. They took a $25 US FEE. But acted confused when I asked for my money back. Sad place. Will not return to RipOff World. Was the place years ago, but hopefully they will close down due to unethical practices.

Stir-fried Noodle with Seafood Review: First of all, I'm sorry I haven't posted in SO LONG. I was being a little sad butch and I was also super busy in summer school. But fret not, now I'll post at least 1-2 times or up to 7 times in a week LMAO. Summer school ended today and istg I think I failed but my dad took me out to eat (sort of a tradition at this point to eat at bubble world after summer school) NOW IMMA GET TO THE REVIEW BECAUSE IM SURE YOU GUYS DONT EVEN CARE ABOUT MY PERSONAL LIFE. Well for the noodles, I can cook this :/ The noodle texture is good it's not over cooked but the sauce is too salty for my taste and I can tell they put A LOT of oyster sauce it's like 90% oyster sauce For seafood it was mainly just processed seafood stuff like 魚蛋,魚腐,imitation crab meat... that stuff you know? As for REAL seafood it's there was ONE mussel and ONE shrimp. The mussel was grainy and wasn't cleaned well while the shrimp was tough and rubbery. Both the mussel and shrimp were TI NY In the stir fry there was 芥蘭 (sorry idk what it is in english: I think chinese broccoli?) and it was undercooked. The business there wasn't bad tbh and the prices are pretty cheap. I just I don't really like their dishes, they used to be really tasty but now eh. Their mini hot pot is pretty good and so is their salty peppery chicken nuggets but other than that all the other dishes I've tried isn't too spectacular or special. I'll come again because the food isn't BAD but it's definitely not one of my first choices. Rating: 6/10

I've been going to this location for 10 years and I've noticed their service has improved over the years. They used to be rude and short with words (rarely got my special request right) but now they ask questions and listen when we order. I did remove one star based on the fact that today my friend's food arrived while mine sat at the counter for a bit.. due to that fact, my soup was lukewarm and my nuggets got cold before I was halfway through. But taste was still there and my milk tea tea was great to sip on later while digesting the food.

I love this place! Mainly for their bubble tea. Whenever I'm having a craving for a sweet treat I like to come here. The best bubble tea is the Oreo one with pearls - tastes 10 times better than an Oreo mcflurry. Friends of mine have also ordered food here and they loved it. Service is always good and super fast. They take to-go orders on food as well as bubble tea. CASH ONLY! Ambiance inside is quite noisy but it's definetly good for a casual dinner out.

It was supposed to be my final meal of this leg of my Vancouver food trip, and with so many…read morerestaurants to choose from, I decided to trust my gut and head to Dragon Wok. Faced with two locations, I picked the newer one for reasons I can't quite explain, and thus began an amazing journey. The spacious parking area was a great start, and as soon as I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted by a bright, soothing, and clean environment. The Far East vibes were unmistakable, with signs all around confirming I was in a Chinese place. A polite girl greeted us and guided us through the extensive menu, helping us choose the best dishes and combinations. To give some context, Indo-Chinese food originated in Kolkata, Bengal, and evolved as it spread across India, with each region adding its own twist. My favorite is Bangladeshi Chinese, known for its aroma, toned textures, and balanced, soothing sauces and condiments. Although Indo-Chinese variations have diverged from their Bengali-Chinese roots, I was hoping to find something that would closely match my taste preferences. That's when a gentleman named Abrar approached us. To my delight, he was from Kolkata, the birthplace of Indo-Chinese cuisine. He took the time to understand our preferences, crafting recommendations that seemed tailored just for us. He went above and beyond, even deciding how to tweak their original dishes to match our taste buds. We decided to go all out with his suggested combinations. We started with the appetizer, the Spicy chili garlic wings, and they were incredible--thin, yet with the crispiest crust, perfectly balanced with the chili garlic sauce. They were well-marinated with no gaminess, and the juicy inner layer contrasted beautifully with the crunchy exterior. 5/5. The Masala Fish blew us away--it was unforgettable. It wasn't overly spicy; a hint of sweetness brought out the flavors, with a light, airy crunch giving way to melt-in-your-mouth fish. The Crispy Chili Beef was very special. It wasn't dry, with a perfect semi-crisp exterior and juicy interior. Each bite validated how beef should be cooked. The sauce was perfectly balanced, neither too salty nor too sour. The Ginger garlic chicken was stir-fried to perfection, super soft with a soothing gravy, and the perfect blend of oriental sauces. Everything was balanced just right. The vegetable Hakka chowmein were not too oily, and though the noodles were a bit thinner than usual, they complemented every entrée so well it felt like a match made in heaven. Finally, the dessert--Ice cream with fried banana--was an ingenious creation. The warm, crunchy banana paired perfectly with the cold ice cream, creating a delightful ending to the meal. The girl at the reception (sorry, I didn't ask her name) was incredibly cordial, checking in on us several times and even offering complimentary green tea. Abrar also checked in on us a couple of times, providing exceptional service. I noticed him being attentive to every customer, offering nothing short of the best service you can get in a restaurant. I know taste buds vary, and Indo-Chinese palates differ across the subcontinent, but as someone extremely picky about Indo-Chinese food, I feel I had my best Indo-Chinese experience in North America at Dragon Wok. You're in good hands with these experts from the birthplace of Indo-Chinese cuisine.

The menu is extensive, offering everything from classics like General Tso's and lo mein to more unique options. With so many choices, there's something for everyone. The food always comes out hot and flavorful, and the staff is friendly and efficient. It's a great spot when you're craving Indo-Chinese food and want big portions that satisfy. We got veg fried rice, Manchurian chicken, and shrimp chow mein and honestly those plates were wiped clean. It was enough for four starving people. I'm tempted to come back and try their soup and other things on the menu. Can't wait!

Our party of six waited over an hour to be seated. If my mother hadn't spoken up, we likely would have waited even longer. Although reservations are not accepted, guests are placed on a waitlist upon arrival. Our name was clearly on the queue, but not in Korean and while I initially understood smaller parties of two or four being seated ahead of us based on table availability, concerns arose when another party of six--who was behind us in line (name was written in Korean--was seated before us. This was deeply frustrating, as we were next in line for a table that could accommodate six people. When we raised the issue, the hostess admitted it was a mistake, yet still chose to seat the other group first. They were 5th in the queue. Despite our complaint, there was no sincere apology, and we were forced to wait an additional 10 minutes while they set up another table. The entire situation left us feeling unfairly treated and discriminated against. As loyal customers who regularly spend over $300 per visit ordering family combos, extra dishes, drinks, and more, this was incredibly disappointing. Sadly, we will not be returning. There are many other restaurants that treat their customers with fairness, respect, and appreciation.
