My favourite go-to to order here is the boneless fried chicken. This place is always crowded, service is always quick though. Plenty of seating. Street paid parking

I made the mistake of adding too much boba to my mango slush drink because it is so good. Genuinely so good. I'm saying this as someone who doesn't really like sweet drinks (although i love boba). I ordered the no sugar option, so i was worried it would be sour, but the boba made it the perfect amount of sweetness! Not too sweet, just how I like it~ The same goes for the honey lemon tea. Their takoyaki is also the best. Service was fast. Worth my money. I love balls

I have probably visited this place over 20 times over the past several years - You can't go wrong with the Salty Peppery options (Chicken Nuggets & Squid Tentacles are my personal Favs) Marinated Trio in my opinion is super tasty and a great value for dollar - This was my first time trying their Hot Pot options - I found that the portion was larger than expected and I would easily be able to share this with my significant other :) - next time it will be one pot for the two of us - Flavor wise - I didn't find it that spicy - but the food was still good - just not as hot as I'd like it , but mind you I have a high spice tolerance - so this might be able to hit the spot for the regular spice addicts :) Unfortunately, they lost my attention for the drink - I tried the love bird (Coffee & Tea Mix Milk Tea) - I had it once before and it was great , but this time around both the Coffee and Tea tastes were lackluster - in fact - I couldn't even taste the sugar - So I'd advise to make wise decisions in regards to drinks - as they tend to be hit and miss -

I do not recommend ordering their Beef Brisket on Rice dish. As you can see from the image, there's barely any brisket. It's mainly rice and sauce. Having said that, their Taiwanese chicken nugget rice platter and their traditional stew pork are solid selections. Portions are not stingy. I politely let the staff know that the portion was small in which she replied with "that's normal" and walked off. For the rest of our meal we received the cold shoulder.

Terrible service by Yan, who's not only unprofessional but a liar to boot it off. I ordered through DoorDash and my delivery person claimed that Bubble World was sold out of a drink, which they refunded to me. I called the store, and Yan told me she was in charge of my order and refunded the money to me. In fact, she claimed to have confirmed it. When I asked why she didn't call me to tell me the item I ordered was sold out, she claimed she did. Which she didn't because I never recieved a call from her. Then she changed had story after I told her, and said that the number wasn't "my number"? Huh? I'm not even sure what she was talking about? So she lied about calling me and then retracted her story. Fast forward to this morning and I still haven't gotten a refund. I call the store again and an employee now claims that they can't even do credit refunds, and I have to call DoorDash. So in effect Yan lied to me AGAIN about refunding my money! What the fck!!!!! The employee who I spoke to, Ken, had HORRIBLE attitude and kept telling me to "calm down". Like what the fck, you guys literally lied about refunding my money and now you want me to "calm down"? I reported Bubble World to DoorDash and I will be posting reviews everywhere so people know how much of a scam this restaurant is. DO NOT ORDER. THEY WILL LIE TO YOU ABOUT YOUR MONEY. Also to the owner? Fire that lying clown Yan. It'll do you better in the long term.

Bubble World is a popular Taiwanese restaurant with two locations (Richmond and Burnaby). Their formula is cheap savory eats (hot pot, snack foods, noodle soups) and a huge variety of desserts. Due to the proximity, we returned several times, largely attracted by the generous portion, delicious soft tofu and shaved ice with plentiful toppings, and the quick service. Our order: Condensed Milk Toast - $4.50. About a 15 minute wait but a large thick piece of toast is served covered in butter and condensed milk. It's actually really good. Soft Tofu with Red Bean and Grass Jelly - $5.50. At these prices, it's a generous portion and great for sharing. The ingredients taste freshly made and mix together well. Hot Tofu with Boba - $5.50. The nice thing about ordering anything is that you can add boba and fresh boba served warm is soft and delicious, although likely just empty carbs. Worth it. Overall, Bubble World is a popular dessert spot. It's more a 3.5 stars, but I'm rounding up for the convenient location and stellar prices. Bubble World accepts cash only.

This shop has been here for about 20 years, start with bubble tea only and now also serving food. I pass by today and bought a bubble tea, the menu selection they have stays same as 20 years ago, which would be a bit out dated compare to a lot of new shops, still taste good though, but I would prefer others than them.

So lately the fam and I, have had an obsession over bubble tea. I am guilty of ordering Uber eats bubble world bubble tea every other day in the week for the past 3 weeks. My go to at bubble world is the Oreo Slush with ice cream, Mango ice cream, and Lychee slush with coconut jelly. Not only is there bubble tea bomb, there prices are reasonable for what your getting.

Their milk tea here are quite different from the other places such as ShareTea, CoCo, or Gong Cha. They are heavier with more cream and contains more flavor. I actually like it because they do not taste watered down.

Taro bubble tea yummy!! I've been coming here for years and thought I've written a review for this location but I guess I haven't. If you plan to come late night expect to wait to be seated. Lunch time or late afternoon is slower good time to go. I love their bubble tea I always get the taro slush with pearls (always with pearls!) and if not another great choices are lychee or coconut. Food is good especially for late midnight snacks, its greasy deep fried goodness. I usually get pepper chicken nuggets and squid feet or any of their combos are also good. And for dessert condense milk toast omg so good, just try it thank me later! Cash only!!

We had a dinner at Sushi Garden and decided to head over to Bubble World for a drink. This place seems to be always busy! Of coz, we could found the meter and parked without any problem on Monday night. I ordered my flavour drink - Black sesame milk tea with red beans, it was pretty good especially I asked for 1/2 sweet. My other gal friends drink was ok too.

    Bbq meat over rice(beef)
    Andrew B.

This place was renovated recently. The updates on the design and service layout were improved a lot. Now they have specific counter at the entrance to accomodate take-out customers and bill payments. This particular chain is very busy on late night weekends. One of my favorite here is bbq meat over rice(beef or pork), their hokkaido milk tea, and chicken nuggets. The bbq meat over rice is almost like a beef gyudon. Their chicken nuggets is one of the best you could get at any Taiwanese restaurants and it is one of their most popular.

The place used to be a fried chicken (fast food) joint way back, so the seating area is actually not that large. Most of the space is taken up by the kitchen. Staff are friendly and professional. The food is typical mid end banquet style, but the flavours are good, and the value is there. Lettuce wrap - standard restaurant fare. Decent quality. Fried green bean - nice and spicy, thanks to the house chili sauce. They can tune the spiciness on this one. Default is on the spicier side. Tasty. Shanghai fried noodles - standard restaurant fare. Hot & sour soup - better than the competition. Not sure what's special about it, but it stood out. Chongqing deluxe fried rice - one of their signature dishes. Great mix of flavour. Crispy rice with shrimp soup - honestly this would be the one dish that wasn't that great. Rice blocks were crispy, but the shrimp soup was nothing special. I'd skip this dish. Other than the crispy rice, everything is pretty standard compared to similar places out there. Expectations were met. Very good value. I'd gladly eat here again. Recommended.

They're a Northern Chinese spot that specializes in Guangxi cuisine and located right next to Onezo Tapioca. Even though it closes at 9:00pm, there were still people after us that came in for late night eats. We didn't have any issues with service; they came by to fill our tea several times. Just wish they gave bigger cups. Food comes out in a hurry. The menu is short and sweet: noodles, rice meals, appetizers, wontons and drinks. Trip #1 First visit was on a late Wednesday evening (around 8:30pm). - Mama's unique special milk tea ($4.80) - we added grass jelly ($0.50) which was unfortunately from a can. The milk tea was different than the norm as there was sweet fermented rice bits mixed in. Decent but don't think we'd get it again. - Sour and spicy crystal noodle ($6.98) - glass noodles with minced pork, bean sprouts, cilantro and peanuts. We got our dish medium spicy which was mild. Broth was excellently balanced; loved the sour notes. Glass noodles had a satisfying bite and cilantro added freshness to the bowl. - House special escargot rice noodles in spicy noodles ($13.98) - escargot, pig ear, beef, tofu, marinated egg, shrimp and pork intestine. There was also pickled green beans, bamboo shoots, tofu skins, wood ear mushrooms and peanuts. Really different with a good variety of textures and flavour. Loved all the types of meat, especially the tender beef, pork intestine and pig ear. Escargot was tasty but we wanted more. The tofu skin and wood ear mushrooms underneath were excellent. - Fresh meat wonton ($5.98) - this comes in a light broth with 15 homemade wontons, pickled seaweed and baby dried shrimp. Broth is basic but the wontons are great. Trip #2 Second trip was on a Friday evening (around 8:00pm). - Braised beef, pig ear and tofu ($10.98) - the beef is the same as what you get in their noodle bowls. Pig ear wasn't crunchy but the sauce (some sort of Chinese mushroom) was good. Tofu was fairly standard. For the price, it's a small dish; I didn't think it was worth it. - Shredded chicken, vegetable and cold noodle with house sauce ($9.53) - they asked us how spicy we wanted it; we went with spicy. Again, it's not so don't worry. The noodles were thin and the sauce was almost like a dan dan mein. We liked how it wasn't overwhelmingly peanuty. - Beef and escargot rice noodle in spicy soup ($9.98) - the beef is super tender. Again, the escargots are hard to find but everything else in this bowl is delicious. Tofu skin, wood ear mushrooms, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, peanuts and pickled green beans. Satisfying and spiciness finally came through. An interesting twist to the usual Northern Chinese spots typically found in town. Cash or debit only.
