I'm surprised out of all the bubble tea spots I've been to in Burnaby I have yet to come to the one spot that offers all you can drink bubble tea! This visit though I wanted to try some of their fall drinks and curiously ordered the pumpkin spice milk tea which was actually pretty tasty! It tasted like a rounded out pumpkin spice latte and I also loved that they have the option for half order of toppings so you can mix and match!

We decided to have dessert and a drink here. My friend liked her lavender tea latte and the lychee Yakult drink I got was refreshing. We shared the matcha bingsu which was really nice. Finely shaved ice which looked like snow. It was infused with the matcha flavor. It also came with red beans, mochi and almond flakes. I still wish they could do a mini individual size portion which was available in some Korean bingsu franchise. Otherwise you also need to find someone else to share it and it can be hard to agree on the flavor. They are pretty slow in service though. Some customers who ordered after us got their drinks first. Don't come here hungry or if you are in a hurry. Otherwise it's a good place for some drinks and food. Parking is available out front or on the side streets.

Never heard of Tealips Cafe but we were looking for a BBT spot after dinner. They're close to a Save on Foods. We dropped in on a Friday evening (around 8:30pm). Plenty of tables inside, but there were only a handful of people when we dropped in. The menu is split into drinks, waffles (served until 8:30pm), artisan sandwiches and bingsoo (both served until 8:00pm). Strangest thing I've seen with the time limits. One cool thing was that you could get half portion sized toppings. - 2x Waffle pop combo - strawberry mango fresh fruit slush ($6.75), tea jelly ($0.60) and raspberry liege waffle ($2.50). J went with lychee fresh fruit slush ($6.50) with pearls ($0.30), white pearls ($0.40) and mango jelly ($0.30). He opted for the milky matcha liege waffle ($2.50). The waffles were bad; dry, dense and didn't taste fresh. Sauces were generic. Drinks were slightly better. Fairly generous with the toppings. Nothing out of the ordinary at TC. 2.5 stars.

Honestly, we had gone to this location as it was the closest when I was babysitting my niece otherwise we would have gone a block over to a different bubble tea joint. There was nobody in the café and I could see them prepping items or unpacking things. I wasn't really welcome and then when I finally placed my one bubble tea order (a passion fruit black tea with jelly) it took forever... it seemed like the workers were hoping each other instead of just making my drink, and I ended up waiting there for quite a while before I got it. The jelly had a weird texture and it wasn't my favourite (when it usually is an easy classic flavour). With that being said, they had cute bubble tea kits which I'm sure make for a nice gift or activity to do. The store itself was clean and they serve food as well so it's probably a nice easy spot for younger groups to hang out or study over food and drinks. Hopefully my experience was just a one off!

Ordered the tiramisu mocha waffle (Brussels) and the chicken pesto sandwich. Tiramisu mocha waffle ($14.00) was really yummy! The cream was made with marscapone cheese and everything paired really well (with the ice cream, cocoa powder, and chocolate bits)! We did find our waffles a little overly crispy- not sure if that was intended or if they might have overdone the waffles. Chicken pesto sandwich ($11.95) also hit the spot! The pesto flavour wasn't too strong. But the chicken and veggies inside were super fresh and delicious! Overall great ambiance and seems like a good study spot!

We tried out their Bingsoo because we received a 50% off voucher on the Milk Tea Bingsoo from a contest on Instagram. We also tried out their sandwich, waffle pop, and drinks. Overall, it is an excellent place to hang out with friends or a perfect spot for dating. Tealips Cafe is located in the Burnaby Highgate Village area. It is convenient to get there. Dessert : 4/5 Should Try! Service: ‍‍‍‍4/5 Kids: 4/5 Yay! (If kids love ice-cream, then they should love shaved ice dessert) Price: Has discount voucher from the giveaway contest Presentation: 2/5 Parking: 4/5 30-min parking in front of the store, and plenty underground parking. Tips: * is meant for sharing * makes drinks and food with fresh ingredients, so it might take time to get the orders. * serves brunch set for $18.99 (including a sandwich, a drink, and a waffle pop) from Monday-Friday. * has an extensive menu of drinks. Would I Return: Yes ‍

Cozy cafe Tealipse in the Edmonds areas waiting for you to explore Bubble tea is one of their specialties and also offers some cafe eats for that well rounded experience. We had their milk tea Brussel waffle with nice chewy pearls, and an A&B (avo and bacon) sandwich These are all made fresh to order and waffles comes in Brussels or liege style to choose from These tasty treats now come in a combo with bubble tea which you can add on for $5. Here were what we had: Avocado and Bacon Sandwich (A&B) Milk Tea Waffle Lavender Honey Milk Tea + Tea Jelly Coffee Milk Tea + Pearl

Bubble tea shop tucked away behind Highgate Mall. Parking is limited but available along Arcola. The inside is quite modern, as the building is new. Staff were friendly. The bubble tea was honestly just mediocre. Decent but nothing special, and honestly quite forgettable. Maybe their desserts are better.

I love their selections of waffles. I've ordered a hot drink as well thst suits the cold temperatures outside. Very nice place to dine in for quick dessert.

I came here as I was craving some bubble tea after work and ended up getting the hojicha milk tea with pearls. They don't ask you for customization options but they were able to do my regular 25% sugar and less ice for bbt that you can usually get. The drink tasted pretty good, and I would recommend getting their bbt again. I didn't get a chance to try their bingsoo or waffles and would definitely like to next time I am in the neighborhood. The only complaint I had was that it seemed quite muggy on the windows when we were there and it somewhat ruined the environment of the cafe.

Not my kind of coffee joint. Mainly, because it seems to focus more on bubble tea than coffee. It was also super loud with all the blenders going. It's a tiny place, with barely any seating, so the sound is very close and loud. My cousin also ordered waffles, which she seemed to like. I had a bite, it was fine, nothing spectacular. The service was friendly but SLOW. I won't be keeping this place on my list of "need to go back."

Wow this place has gone down since it first opened. Waffles was not good, waffle didn't taste fresh, topping tasted old. Very disappointed! Only good this was the coffee. I brought a friend here, we wanted to have dessert close to home, bad choice. And whats sup with all disposable plates and cutlery!??

I've given this place multiple tries multiple different drink options and they all suck. I've had their waffles before. Decent. But the drinks.. I literally don't understand how anyone thinks their drinks are even good at ALL. Even bubble world is better

There are some huge stuffed bears (I think they're the Costco variety) by the entrance. Makes for some photos if one is into that. Seating area is decently large, with several small tables. Staff are friendly. The bubble tea here is honestly on the pricier side. I tried their panda pearl cheesecake bubble tea and it was a bit on the salty side. Macao Imperial Tea had just opened up on Edmonds St.and I was itching to try it, so I brought my…read moredaughter with me to go check it out. Upon entering the shop you are met with two gigantic teddy bears sitting on chairs. They seem to like their teddy bears in this shop because two of the drinks on their menu are served in reusable glass bottles with lids that are shaped like teddy bear ears. One of these drinks is called "For Me" and the other drink is called "For You". My daughter decided to try the "For Me" while I chose the Black Sugar Taho Milk Tea for myself. For Me: It turned out to be a coffee drink. Think of it as a cold, sweet latte. My girl loved it and so did her daddy when he came home. Since the "For Me" drink comes in one of those reusable glass teddy bear bottles, I inquired about whether we could come back sometime and reuse that same bottle. The girl I asked wasn't sure so she consulted with another employee. She then reported back to me that we could reuse the bottle; the drink would cost the same. There would be no discount for bringing in a reusable container. That's fine with me. I'm just happy to come to a shop that allows reusable containers. I'm so tired of single use plastic. Black Sugar Taho Milk Tea: I'm no expert on Taho or Filipino foods in general. Taho is something I've only ever had at one other shop. Based on my limited experience with Taho, I have to say I really couldn't taste any Taho in this drink. It was a flavorful drink and we enjoyed every last drop. I'd have no troubles ordering it again. I just don't think the word "Taho" should be in the name as I really couldn't detect any Taho in it. It just tasted like a Black Sugar Milk Tea to me.  Service: Very good. Friendly and helpful. Parking: Parking on Edmonds St. directly in front of the shop is limited; however, if you just take a short walk around the corner there's plenty of free parking on the side street. (Linden Ave.) Location: In a great neighbourhood. Buy-Low Foods supermarket is across the street, Save-On Foods is only about a couple of blocks away around the corner, Tommy Douglas Library is also around the corner,Edmonds Community Centre is closeby on the same street, lots of other shops and restaurants nearby. It's a wonderful addition to the neighbourhood.
