I remember this place for having $.99 crowaffle during Covid time! Stopped by again for their delicious crowaffle, and I would totally pay full price. I got the tiramisu crowaffle, earl grey cream puff and hot chocolate. Totally recommend all three, and can't wait to try more. The service was a little slow, but they were surely busy. There was a small issue with my dish, and I went up to the server, and I told them and they promptly made me a new one. The ambiance and aesthetics of the restaurant are adorable, make sure to dine in!

I always love checking out cafes when I am out and about! I just cannot resist getting a dessert when I see a cafe. Sometimes two or three. But who's counting? This cute place has croffles with various toppings, the cutest cheesecakes, and creampuffs, some stuffed with ice cream instead of cream! The creampuffs were sooooo delicious with the ice cream but gotta eat them fast so they don't melt. They also offer Rocky Point ice cream! Lots of parking in the parkade outside.

I was first introduced to this cafe when they had their .99 cent crowaffle promo during Covid. A crowaffle is a cross between a croissant & a waffle. I've been coming by regularly since to try their crowaffles in different flavours. One of my faves is tiramisu, but I also like the plain crowaffle. If you order it to go, it comes on a stick, which is great for eating in the car. I love their dalgona crunch latte, although it does get really sweet at the end once all the honeycomb melts. Service is friendly, but can be slow since there's usually only one girl working. It's a huge space with plenty of seating.

This is a nice little cafe in the area. There was ample seating available which was nice for us to sit down for an hour to chat and enjoy our drinks. I ordered a sesame latte and it has a light hint of black sesame. I appreciate the latte art. The plaza is usually busy but we were able to park without any issues at 8 pm.

This place has plenty of tables, very spacious with high ceilings. Great lighting and awesome renovation & decoration. Waffles are amazing, fresh hot and crispy, decent price. We didn't order any drinks but I assume it'll be great since cafe is Korean owned and Koreans knows how to make their coffee! Cashier girl is super cute, she had hard time understanding my English but it's ok she understood my order and there was no issues !!!

I've gone to Cafe Hashtag twice already and, it's a really cool Korean Cafe. Decor is nice and neat here. Perfect spot for hangout or studying. Lounge area (where lips painting is) by entrance or some of front tables have some power plugs here. Dalgona Crunch Latte, Watermelon Juice and Grapefruit Ade are amazing here. I'd love to try Crowaffle one day if I could. I visited here for a second time recently for a mock interview. Wifi connection wasn't good. I brought my laptop to work on notes for mock interview which seemed more convenient to do it at home instead. Too bad wifi didn't work on my laptop. I got Grape Ade (Chungpodo Ade) on my visit it tasted okay. My half sweeten Dalgona Crunch Latte was pretty memorable. Not too sweet, but it had depth of flavour when Dalgona cubes mix with coffee. Staff was helpful. I totally want to get my Dalgona Crunch Latte once again!

We've all BEAN there, you know that craving for coffee and also wanting something sweet like a crowaffle, and fruit latte? That was literally me. This place has it all! * Iced Strawberry latte ~ on the sweeter side but it has a generous amount of strawberry bits. The milk and strawebrrry purée and strawberries paired well together and was super refreshing. 8/10. * Churro crowaffle ~ sooo good, but you have to eat it hot when you get it or it can get harder and less flakey. The churro was coated generously on the crowaffle and the crunchy texture was awesome. Good pair with the strawberry latte. 9/10. * injeolmi einspanner ~ this was super creamy and delicious. Perfect sweetness and super good. 9/10. * Einspinner original ~ this was non sweetened, it was a pretty good coffee, I do wish it was more creamy and sweet like the other one though. 5/10. *

Hashtag cafe is located along North Road in Hanin village across from H-mart. Hashtag cafe specializes in crowaffles which is a waffle made with croissant dough which makes them buttery and crispy! In addition to their crowaffles they have sandwich cookies with unique fillings on the inside! The interior of the cafe was spacious with bench seating, large tables for studying at and couches for smaller parties. There was woodsy furniture, white walls, accent paintings and lots of plants! I liked how the tables were spaced apart so that you weren't too close to the neighbouring parties. We decided to get the Hashtag crowaffle because not only did it come with TWO crowaffles but it also came with fresh fruit, chocolate drizzle and maple syrup! The crowaffle was crispy and crunchy on the outside but soft and buttery on the inside. I absolutely loved the texture of these! Even more so than the cro-tai from Snowy Village which are made similarly. The fruit helped balance the butteriness and sweetness of the waffles so I liked eating them together. In our opinion, the waffles were topped with enough chocolate drizzle, icing sugar and maple syrup so we didn't add anymore. With that being said, we appreciated the option to add more if we wanted to. The whipped cream on the side was vanilla flavour and topped with ground cinnamon. This snack was so yummy and we will definitely be back!

A cafe in the Hainan Village which has a lot of room for seating, even during social distancing times. I saw a few people sitting here studying while we ordered something to go. We ordered the dalgona crunch latte as we wanted to try something different and it was done well and not too sweet. Would be interested in trying some of their waffles next time we're here.

Cafe Hashtag is a great place to grab a coffee and snacks while waiting for your spouse to complete the grocery shopping in Coquitlam. I ordered an iced Dalgona Crunchy Latte and paired it with their signature CroWaffle (Croissant + Waffle on a stick) for afternoon treats. The Dalgona toffee (Korean style honeycomb toffee candy) was pretty huge. They can easily change the latte to excessive levels of sweetness. Drink: 3/5 Can Try! Food: 4/5 Should Try! Service: takeout available during Provincial Health Officer order. Kids: 3/5 A-OK for kids. Price: below $10 when having promotion. Presentation: 1/5 Parking: 3/5 Tips: *can order combo with coffee and waffles together. *can call to pre-order ahead. *continues health and safety protocols. Would I Return: Yes ‍ The CroWaffle was served warm, soft, and flaky. It was delicious! They are doing a promo for $0.99 on original CroWaffles between March 30 and April 20, 2021. Apparently, these are perfect for kids' snacks. Cafe Hashtag is located at the same plaza as the H-mart. It is located at unit 530-329 North Road at Hanin Village (northeast of H-mart) in Coquitlam.

Another lovely coffee shop, with lots of seating available and easy parking too! They have a lot of creative drinks like real fruit lattes and such. But we ordered the Einspanner Latte, and it was super good!! The espresso wasn't tangy and it was perfect with the whip. We also got a cheese crowaffle, I wasn't a fan of th3 cheese but the waffle was nice.

I came here for the crowaffle, but DAL-GONA come back for the coffee. You can't go wrong with these plain waffles on a stick for $1. Maximum order is 5 and are made fresh. There is a drizzle of maple syrup and a light dusting of powdered sugar. I'm not sure how long this promotion will be though. This was my first time trying dalgona Korean sponge candy and it tasted delicious in the dalgona crunchy latte. I asked for low sweetness and ate the candy with the crowaffle so my drink wouldn't be too sweet. I love this combo a WAFFLE lot!

I usually get the flavored taiyaki here. Compared to traditional taiyaki, Little Pisces ones are chewier, sort of like fried mochi. The fillings are all very good and they're freshly made. They have a 5-piece combo deal where it comrs out to just a little over $3 per taiyaki. The supermarket right below sells 3 taiyakis (that are very good) for about $5 though, so Little Pisces is a bit expensive comparatively. The ice cream come with a taiyaki on top and is super cute. There's usually quite a long line to order and to get the food. Sometimes the line is out the door. Even after ordering, they give you a little buzzer thing that buzzes when your order is ready. This can take quite a long time if there's alot of people. While there is seating, it is limited and people tend to stay awhile, so don't depend on being able to eat inside. In the winter it kind of sucks as you have to exit to eat. I also came here for their hot chocolate festival drinks. The lines were insanely long. The hot chocolate was $12 each and not very big. While the flavors were unique, they weren't very good overall and took forever to wait for.
