The place is clean, free wifi, washroom is available, lots of places for you to work, except not enough charge ports. if youre considering working here with a windows laptop, consider getting MacBook or ask someone if you can charge your device at the corner areas. the food and drinks are delicious, but they're very expensive. very overpriced. so I consider the price of the food to pay for the area to study at and the friendly staff. hope they get paid well.

Went around 5pm on a Friday, not busy at all! Pretty spacious and cozy interior I ordered the iced hojicha latte and it definitely had a nice and nutty flavour! I think they use real milk though (note for all oat milk enthusiasts)

Iced Strawberry Matcha and Hojicha

I absolutely love going to Juillet Cafe. I've been coming to it for years. Currently Ive been loving their selection of matcha drinks, including the strawberry matcha. They also have a great selection of desserts, including crepe cakes which are my favourite! The cafe is great to hang out with friends, but it's also a great place to work or study at. The people working there are also lovely.

This is by far some of the BEST matcha in all of Vancouver. The staff here are super friendly and after 12:30pm, they serve premium matcha aka paragon. It's made so well and i've never had a bad one. Definitely a must try!

This place used to be good. I went here maybe 3-4 times before. Menu and drink menu changed a bit. They now have Einspanner, Hojicha and Matcha drinks. I stop here once in a while after shopping at Hannam. I ordered Einspanner ($7.20) for a caffeine fix. It had too much ice, little of foam and mostly coffee. The Korean lady helped me fix the drink since it didn't taste like Einspanner from other places. It was more like Iced Americano with some foam. After she fixed my drink it tasted a bit better. The drink was okay overall. I don't think I'll go back though. Although the staff was very helpful, the drink wasn't that great. I'll just go to Hey Hi Hello or the Venti instead.

Afternoon walk was terminated at this little Korean cafe mostly occupied by Gen Z and Alphas with their laptops and phones. The staff were very pleasant and polite to deal with. Extensive menus that include sandwiches and what nots but mostly on displays were sweet and pastries. Ambience is good,; wood interiors with ample of light despite such a downpour day. Inside appears cozy and charming. Pastries are decent and the coffees are top notch. Things are on the pricier side, so beware. Though there's very little to complain about except perhaps lack of seating and students loitering about. Overall good. Will visit again if in the area.

Is it controversial if I say I didn't like it? I know they use paragon matcha powder but it doesn't taste anything like the strawberry matcha I've had from paragon pop ups before. Maybe they use less powder in their drinks? Regardless the price point and what it is was not worth it and I wouldn't get it again unfortunately.

Friendly staff, good music, easy parking, great seating area and good place to study with some outlets as well. and most importantly 10/10 drinks. :)

Ube cake & late

This cafe is such a gem! I went on their anniversary when everything was 50% off but would gladly pay regular price for their desserts! The ube latte was so creamy and delicious too! My son loved his mango cake & smoothie. The ambience is chill.

Ham and cheese croissant, Spanish latte

Great place to catch up with friends with lots of seating area as well as plugs if you're looking for a coffee shop to study at. I got a ham and cheese croissant and a Spanish latte. They heated up the croissant and it was light and just filling enough. Spanish latte also had good flavour. Would recommend this place for its ambience and great place to hang out with friends or to work.

Spanish coffee! Sweetened with love!

It's a spa! No, a boutique! No, wedding shop! No, a hair salon..? I thought it was a cafe... actually it's all of the above. Sounds crazy right? From the outside it can be a bit confusing, but it all makes sense once you go inside. Go and explore! But this is a review for the cafe, so here it is: It's a Korean coffee shop. If you've been to Monster Coffee across the way it's very similar. Strong coffee, an assortment of pastries, desserts, teas and lattes. The bonus of Juliet Cafe is that it has more seating. So if you have a group of 6 or more there are two seating areas for your large party or if you have a stroller there was plenty of space for it too. The baristas are nice and patient. My personal favourite drink is the Spanish coffee. Its reminds me of a Vietnamese coffee, but sweeter. I had also tried the matcha chocolate croissant (not 100% that's what it was called) it was flaky and I think there were nuts in it. My only complaint : there was a sign in the main building door that advertised a free pastry with purchase of any drink during the month of December. When I asked the barista about it, he said it was over. Suspicious, I looked at the door coming into the ca So if your looking for a place to chill with friends or do some work while drinking some coffee, come here!

This cafe is like hidden beside the beauty spa shop, and it's a super neat and cute cafe great for studying. It's less than a 5 minute walk from the Lougheed town centre Skytrain station, and has many options of coffee, tea and desserts. Their matcha latte is REALLY GOOD! Different from a lot of the other sweet matcha latte I've had in other places. You can taste the texture from the matcha grain along with the silky milk. Overall cute, relaxing cafe with chill atmosphere, also have plenty pastries and cakes that my friend says is really tasty too

My friends and I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon so it was a bit busy, but luckily we managed to get some seats. They have smaller tables and bigger tables that you may have to share with other parties if it gets crowded (which happened to us). They ordered hot chocolates, I got the matcha latté, and we split a slice of their red velvet cake. Latté was pretty good, not too sweet with the right amount of matcha. Pretty latté art too! My friends enjoyed their hot chocolates, and the cake was moist and well-balanced in terms of cake to cream cheese frosting. It wasn't too sweet either! I'd like to come back to try their sweet potato cake and their matcha croissant which both looked good. Average pricing in terms of café's go. I noticed a lot of students in there studying, which I don't think is the best place since it is quite noisy, but it's definitely a nice place to catch up with friends.

Passion8 Dessert Cafe - Multi Grain Injulmi

Passion8 Dessert Cafe

For awhile, I tried to catch this place open for my late night dessert needs. I finally succeeded…read morelast month & it didn't disappoint! First time I spotted this place was while I stayed at the hotel in the same complex area. It isn't something easy to see from the road, but there's lots of great Asian restaurant options hidden amongst that complex that seem to be always very popular. The night I actually made it in before closing, I had to use great restraint when selecting the dessert being that I was dining alone. Even the ladies that walked in around the same time I did, had an incredibly hard time choosing their desserts. This is due to fact that the portions are definitely made to be shareable for a lot of their menu items and really, unless you're extremely picky on flavours, they all sound like amazing combos. I therefore opted to reduce my selection (and dessert size!) by going with a cake slice from the display (wish I could recall what it was as it seriously hit the spot) & a lovely hot beverage. The place fills up quickly but does not have that usual crazed rush one feels in other coffee shops & bakeries that are only open earlier in the days. They have various sizes of tables & it definitely felt like this was a social hub for the under 30s (again, dessert was so amazing, that I didn't even care that I felt oldest in the cafe ;) I also found it interesting with how young the crowd was in there, that people were legit visiting more than on their iPhones or laptops (maybe the lack of outlets fostered this?). They have one unique 4 seater table (tractor like) & stools that I kicked myself later for not realizing it was something to use (being a farm kid in a big city, you can imagine quickly what unexpected happiness level it was to see those tractor seat stools too). The parking is plentiful just past the cafe & there's also a parkade. The place is accessible & I even think most would be able to use the washroom with minimal challenges. There seems to be a back door towards the sidewalk but looked closed by the time I was there that late at night. I will definitely be back to enjoy solo dessert time or a good visit with friends (as I definitely would like to try some of the shareable menu items!).

I got a mango bingsoo and it was okay. It was quite expensive ($15 single serving) but I think that's someone standard for bingsoo these days. Pull apart was lighter than I expected. Other place's pull apart was so buttery, cheesy, however, this one was flaky and buttery, so, if you prefer light texture pull apart, you will like it. Cream cheese filling was nice accent. Pistachio loaf was more dense than I expected. It had pistachio whipped cream on top, so, cream helped loaf texture more smooth. Loaf had strong pistachio flavor. I liked whipped cream and loaf combination. Pesto and mozzalera swirl was a bit too salty for me. Dough was super flaky and buttery, I liked the dough texture so much, but filling could be more minder. Unfortunately, I did not have ferrero rocher danish. I heard that this one was the best. Mousse was so delicious and dough was very flaky and buttery. Overall, I think their pastries are always outstanding and good quality. The place was extremely busy and could not get a table. Next time, I wish I could dine-in.

It was pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon with only bar seating available initially, but not too long after some sofa space opened up. I was OBSESSED with the ube matcha, I learned from the super awesome barista that it's sweetened with mango puree. This was absolutely my favorite matcha I've had in a while now and my only disappointment is they don't offer larger sizes for it. The smoked salmon bun was pretty small for $10, I also didn't think the flavors were meshing well. Also found the pull apart stuffed cream cheese croissant a bit misleading. I pulled it apart and there was barely any filling unfortunately. Definitely a cute and inviting spot to grab a drink and stay a while. I wouldn't go for food food here though. Also I have yet to try, but maybe a dessert item here would be more worthwhile.

What I got Banana Bread Croissant Flaky layers wrapped around rich banana bread, dark chocolate, and a sprinkle of toasted coconut. I visit here very often, however, I haven't bought croissant for a while. This special item's dough was not buttery and crispy texture as before. It was a bit too light and airy. And Banana bread filling was very thin slice.. Not sure their patisserie chef or recipe has changed I can't judge based on only 1 croissant, I must try other croissant item to compare.

Unfortunately, its quite hard to find marzipan in the lower mainland. So you can imagine that I was quite excited when I saw they had one on the menu. At first glance the chocolate drizzle on top looked too little, but it was just the right amount. The all butter croissant was perfectly flaky. I heated mine up in the toaster oven for a few mins. The amount of filling that was inside amazed me. However, it would have been more enjoyable if it was more spread out, instead of a "log" of filling. Also, after warming up the pastry, the bottom was extremely oily. So oily that it was literally dripping. The meringue on the Lemon Meringue Bar was a bit deflated and dry. The lemon flavor wasn't overly powerful. The Mango Bar, mango flavor was very mild. I would have liked to taste something a bit more prominent. Also, I didnt like thay they added so much sugar to the Graham Cracker crust. The Spumoni Bar tasted mostly of coconut, but the bar was super flavorful and tasty. The Cheesy Bar cheesecake texture was nice and light. The Fruity Bar was very tasty. Although I wouldn't say that it tasted like strawberry. I liked the crunchy texture from the white chocolate covered rice krispies. I liked the Matcha it could have used a touch more matcha, but I know not everyone likes a super strong matcha flavor. My top picks would be SpumoniBar, Matcha, and Fruity Bar. However, I feel that all of the bars could use more flavor. Additionally, I would like to note the fantastic customer service that I received. I had a dog with me and she has major separation anxiety. One of the staff members noticed us and was kind enough to offer to watch the dog while I quickly ordered inside. I would rate the croissants 4.5 stars, the bars 3.8 stars and the customer service 5 stars.
