Excellent food for a good price. The soup and sandwich combo is a fantastic deal. Comes with a drink too.

It's kind of a trendy cafe, I've seen photos of the other locations but those ones look a lot fancier. I came here because I saw on insta they said this location was the location that had the Ube Matcha Latte but when I went they didn't even have it, which was disappointing since it was being advertised on Instagram. It was also kind of difficult to order and ask questions with the initial barista I was speaking with because of the language barrier so she didn't seem to understand what I was asking but fortunately another girl stepped in to help her out. Since I couldn't get the Ube Matcha drink I got the Hojicha Matcha Iced Latte which was okay conpared to other Matcha drinks I have tried, it seemed like there was a lot more ice than matcha and the large cup isn't very large plus the paper straws were just a no for me. They could have just used other compostable straws rather than paper ones so I give the paper straws a thumbs down. The service was very friendly though despite the language barrier. I didn't see much gluten free options here. I think at a time they carried gluten free donuts from another company but I didn't see them there this time. I'd give this place another shot though once they do have the Ube Matcha Latte drink available.

It's absurd to over charge like this. 1/10 The cream puff is huge and it's pretty good! It's just very soggy. But it's understandable. 8/10

The selection of desserts was quite good and everything looked delicious. We selected two different items to share: a chocolate cake and the other was earl grey. I loved how they were not overly sweet. The earl grey one had grapefruit inside, which unfortunately my friend cannot eat so he was a little disappointed that I got to have more of this one. Lucky for me, I don't have that problem! The piece of grapefruit on top should have been a clue, but he didn't notice it when we were ordering. haha I did find the combination a bit unusual but I enjoyed it nonetheless as I love both grapefruit and earl grey tea! Service appears to be restricted to counter service, so you order at the counter and take your food and drinks to a table. It was really busy in the cafe but we managed to snag the last open table. Because it was so crowded, it was a little difficult to carry on a normal conversation. Not deafening, just quite lively. The coffee was good - but word of advice, make sure you let them know if you want to add milk or cream as they do fill your cup to the brim! I would probably return to try some of their other desserts because I find most places a bit too sweet for me. Definitely recommend this spot.

We were greeted right away by a staff member and seated when a table was available such wasn't long as there was an empty around the corner. We were given menus and menu sheets to order. He didn't give us a pencil or pen but I had one. We decided to get 2 orders of xlb, wontons in chili oil, boiled pork/chives dumplings and hk style curry fish balls. If you don't order drinks there is complimentary water machine for hot/ cold water and a self serve sauce bar. Bowls are also located there. At the table are disposable chopsticks and spoons as well as napkins. After filling out the paper wifey brought it up front to the staff to fill. As we waited for the food i created my sauce. The food arrived and looked good as any dumplings should. The wonton on chili oil was tasty and I liked them. The wrap seemed a bit loose so maybe over cooked by a little bit but not a big deal breaker. The chives dumplings were yummy. Not huge but a decent reasonable size. Tasty as well and the wrapper wasn't overly thick and had a good chew. The curry fish balls were ok. Not bad but not great. The xlb were very nice. Wrapper not to thick, not thin either but acceptable thickness. Plenty of soup inside and decently tasty. The meat filling itself is also tasty. Very good meal and would go back in the area for decent xlb.

What I tried Hazelnut roasted banana choux - Hazelnut monte, roasted hazelnuts, candied bananas and house made praline. Mango and coconuts cake - coconut mouse mango cremeux almond dacquoise and white chocolate crunch. Choux was very delicious! Choux dough was nicely crispy exterior and filling was not overly sweet, strong hazelnut flavor, really delicious. The house made praline and hazelnut cream paired so well. I really love this item. Mango and coconuts cake was also good. Coconut mouse was light texture and not overly sweet. It paired with Mango creameux well. And I like to have them with chocolate crunch. I have always thought this place's pastries were high level. Highly recommend.
