Free wifi, comfortable couch, delicious but quite expensive for what it is. They allowed me to take up their space for studying while I wait for my girlfriend to finish her work.

Nice little cafe on Hastings St in Burnaby. Good amount of seating, electric outlets and free wifi (password is on the table). Latte tasted great, as well as the blueberry pastry.

I have heard good things about this place. Street parking is available though it is challenging to find a spot. I picked up a box of pastries and they were delicious. I had some of them a couple of days later and they were still crispy after I reheated in the oven. No sogginess or staleness in them. Quite remarkable actually. I like the pastries (chocolate almond croissant, cruffin and savory tart) more than the carrot cake. It was still good but I had better elsewhere. There were two entrances to the cafe. I did not know and went in via the mini grocery store front. There were lots of products from the Middle East. The cafe itself was fairly big with plenty of tables. Staff was friendly too. I would definitely be back when I have more time and dine here.

I LOVE Cup & Bun Cafe! It is a Persian/Western fusion Cafe, owned by a recently immigrated man from Iran. I love how wondering and welcoming he is. He noticed that I have been coming here a few times during the week, that he gave me samples of Persian black tea. He also gave everyone seated samples! I love that the cafe offers organic herbal teas. They also carry oat milk for those who prefer milk alternatives. I love that the teas tell me the health benefits of each flavour. I aways try something different everytime I come in for tea. It's very relaxing to sit and read a book, or catch up with friends at Cup&Bun. There is quite a selection of food and beverages as there is a massive menu on the right side of the cashier area. I'm happy to be a regular customer in this local cafe! They also have a store to purchase Persian goods located right beside the cafe.

It was a stat holiday and the Hubs and I walked in at the early afternoon. The pastries are all sold out so we got a macchiato and a large cappuccino. The place is cozy with some tables and chairs, with a couple of bistro tables outside. Service was a bit slow as they have one person running the whole cafe. I don't think I see many outlets so it is better for chatting and little bit of work. No specific WiFi - I found Shaw Open. The drinks arrived within 8 mins. The place uses Argo coffee beans. Cappuccino ($4.65): 3/5 the drink comes in 2 shots, but it seemed a bit lacking in flavour in cream and some espresso flavours. Macchiato ($3.65): 3/5 it was not bad, but not great either. Just ok in flavour. Overall: ok atmosphere to have a seat and chat. Drinks are ok.

This breakfast sandwich was sooooooooo delicious! Latte was on the spot too!

This place opened recently, and I've gone several times already. A great place to meet up with friends for a beverage, nice quiet spot.

I tried the sessions twice, a small group of 7-10 from diverse ethnic backgrounds with nice music that they call "TASABEEH" and then you can have some tea before you leave. Really liked the place! check it out, esp the top floor. I gave it 4, though I thought it's more of 4.5 but I think the seating area could be improved to earn the full mark! Parking is available on the side streets. The dining area is divided into 2 distinct sections. Looks like they took over the adjacent business space and knocked out a doorway. Staff are friendly and cheerful. No complaints. I wasn't sure what to try, so I had the kitchen sink. Might as well try a mix of everything. As per the menu, it was 2 eggs, sautéed red onions, red peppers, kale, green onions, sausage, bacon, cheese, hashbrowns. Reminded me of eating an omelette that fell apart. Decent quality, but honestly nothing really stuck out, especially for the price. This place isn't cheap. Maybe I'll try another dish at some point.

The space was calm but welcoming and not too busy despite being around 730am. I decided to order the ham and egg croissant sandwich along with a hot chocolate. Given we all ordered at once, the staff asked us to grab a seat and they would call us when our orders were ready. To our surprise, the staff actually brought over our orders when they were ready, insisting that we wait at our table rather than coming up to the counter to collect our orders ourselves. This was above and beyond what they needed to do, and they were incredibly friendly. As for the food, the ham and egg croissant was the perfect mix of crispy exterior, soft interior and a wonderful blend of flavour. The eggs were fluffy and light and the ham was flavourful, but not overly salty. The hot chocolate was delicious and was the perfect way to end my day. I will definitely be back again soon to try more of their menu offerings!
